Rascals was the absolute highlight of our vacation—we absolutely loved it. During our stay, I had an unfortunate scooter accident and couldn’t walk long distances. The team went above and beyond to support me, even providing a crutch to help me get around. I’m so grateful for their kindness and care—thank you again! The hotel itself is impressive. The food is majestic, the atmosphere relaxed, the pool is the main attraction, and the little spa, sauna, and massages add a classy touch that makes it feel like the ideal getaway. Our room was spacious, and we were blown away by the outdoor bathroom, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It’s a beautifully maintained and spotless property, with attentive staff who are genuinely lovely to talk to. I would definitely come back

This villa truly exceeded expectations! Their spa is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced, so relaxing and well done. The room was spotless, and I absolutely loved the open-air shower area. It added such a refreshing touch. The private pool right outside the room was super chill, making it easy to spend the whole day just relaxing. There’s so much to do too— surfing, yoga, and even a surf shop on-site. The food was amazing, and the convenience of renting a scooter directly from the villa made exploring even easier. Every detail was perfectly taken care of by the hotel staff, including my transport arrangements. The service was seamless from start to finish. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our 1st time in Lombok and after researching area and hotels, booked and stayed for 5 nights. Well located, great pools, restaurant and general layout. Continual maintenance and upkeep - every aspect looked fresh and clean. The sauna, ice bath and magnesium pool were an unexpected surprise. Scooter access, surf guiding and other activities all available. Short walk to Main Street and close to some great beaches. Staff always smiling and helpful.

The spa itself is beautifully appointed but we were both a little underwhelmed with the 1 hour massage, both the techniques used and felt it was cut well short of 60 minutes.

Lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable. The bathroom is good with nice products. We really liked the water refill stations around the hotel, they made such a difference. The breakfasts were excellent, with lots of options and so filling. We enjoyed everything we had. The dinners are equally as brilliant. The staff are all lovely, from the amazing restaurant staff, to Putra and Yudi in reception who helped us with everything we needed. They were able to organise us taxis to explore the beaches, and to collect us from the harbour and take us to the airport. The spa was great, we liked our treatments. The hotel has a good ambience, peaceful and set away from the road, but walking distance to the main road. Highly recommend this hotel.

A few more facilities in the room would be appreciated, like a kettle with some teas and coffees, and a fridge. Also, a robe and some slippers. The coffees in the restaurant always come in the same cup size, which is sadly quite small. Though the coffee is excellent some bigger cups would be great!

Rascals is hands down the best place to stay in Kuta Lombok. The location is spot on — just a short walk to all the best restaurants in Kuta, but far enough away that it’s completely peaceful and quiet. It genuinely feels like a little oasis. The staff are absolutely fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay comfortable and memorable. You really get the sense that nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast was a highlight each morning — delicious food and excellent coffee, with a great à la carte menu. The rooms are stylish, super clean, and very comfortable, with beautiful open-air bathrooms that make the space feel extra spacious and tropical. There are two lovely pools to choose from, and being able to rent motorbikes directly from the property was a huge plus. I also made use of the brand new spa — had amazing massages and really enjoyed the sauna area, cold plunge, and magnesium bath. Everything was immaculate and thoughtfully done. The owner Steve clearly takes great pride in the property. He’s incredibly welcoming and it shows in the way the whole place is run. I’ll definitely be back soon — and without a doubt, I’ll be staying at Rascals

The design of the hotel is just amazing. Everything looks incredible. It’s quiet, confortable, a lot of places you can hangout. And the bathroom is just wonderful ! I had a lovely experience. Staff was always ready to help and serve you. The bed was amazing also!

The food was outstanding and by far the best of western food places in kuta. The staff were genuinely engaged, friendly and professional. And the main pool was heaven, with its private comfortable cabanas, shaded areas and cool, clean water. My room was aesthetically beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable with a natural, earthy vibe.

My only comment would be that the design of the place was quite condensed with no natural open tranquil spaces to relax in. It was also a bit too mannered for my personal liking, and the bedroom lacked any facility to make a morning cup of tea.

Besides looking gorgeous finally a pool where there is an area where it is not shallow. The breakfast is just 5 stars and the room there is nothing to improve there, maybe a small fridge but you will want to get their service for drinks and food. Sometimes you see a rating on booking and you wonder how did they get this rating. These guys really make justice to 9,7 if not more. Many times we were at the beach and said... Let's go back to Rascals and enjoy the pool and service there. That's why we see guests at the swimming pool all day long even though we are walking distance to the beach.

Absolutely nothing! Keep it up. Great team and great facilities. We will be back next year. We will fly to Lombok just to go to your hotel.

Rascals is a true gem—their service rivals that of a 5‑star property. With stylish tropical interiors, spacious rooms featuring open-air bathrooms, and two immaculate pools, it exudes a quiet, peaceful ambiance—made even more serene by the absence of children. The property is conveniently tucked away from the main street, yet still within easy walking distance of Kuta Lombok’s bars and restaurants. The staff are consistently friendly and numerous across reception, restaurant, and housekeeping, always willing to assist. Their English proficiency is among the best you’ll encounter in Lombok. Breakfast is exceptional, offering fresh juices, barista-made coffee, and a diverse menu. It’s an outstanding value.

We had an absolutely brilliant four night stay. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was varied and delicious (the complementary pastries were incredible and a lovely touch). We loved our day trip to Gili Asahan and also really enjoyed our yoga class with Alvin. The pool areas are wonderful and there is a sauna and plunge pool area opening soon which looks great. Location is a short walk to all the restaurants and shops but far enough away to be peaceful. Couldn’t recommend Rascals more highly for your stay in Kuta!

WiFi quality was quite poor in the room.
