I read some reviews that the old building might not be always nice. By chance I was in the new part of the building. The room was big with a chair and desk as well as a sofa and a table. The bathroom was super nice as well. Everything was clean. Really, it was perfect.

There is some ongoing work outside that will do a lot of noise if you want to stay near the pool. Personally, I don't care about the noise but for other customers, it would be nice to at least warn them on the booking page.

Locations is good - easily accessible and right on the main streets. Good restaurants/ cafe / marts are all within walkable distance. The breakfast buffet was good - with quite a few options ( more than I had expected actuallly). And they just opened the new restaurant with much bigger space. Spa is also pretty good. Pre- booking is recommended.

Towels are often stained. ( so I didnt use those) And you can actually hear other floors in the same block via toilet (its not fully enclosed), had been hearing other floor's party music at night but its 100% soundproof if you close the toilet door. It will be good if they put the towel standing rack in the balcony instead of toilet. It will be more convenient for guests to dry their swimwear after activities.

The two swimming pools were lovely and the location of the hotel is excellent. So many fantastic restaurants right outside. The massage at the hotel spa was really nice. Rooms quite spacious and the balconies were nice to sit out on. Not overly noisy despite central location.

The buffet breakfast had a range of options with some change each day but the food itself was fairly average. There was an egg cooking station though, which was good. The daily room clean was just making the bed so the floors were quite sandy after a few days. A few times we had to ask for fresh towels as they forgot to replace the ones they took. But they were very quick to respond when this happened.

The rooms were very nice, we stayed in the new building and the rooms were nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect on Kuta main street close to lots of nice restaurants and cafes. We also really enjoyed the pool area, and spa. Breakfast was a good buffet selection

The gym was a bit too small especially as the hotel got busier. Also there needs to be a few more sun loungers with so much grass space lots more could be put in.

We stayed for two nights for our honeymoon and had a lovely time. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a really nice open-air style wet room with a shower that felt outdoors but was still very private. Plenty of towels and thoughtful amenities. The location is perfect—right in the middle of Kuta, easy to walk to everything, and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were super friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The on-site spa is amazing—highly recommend the Lombok massage. There are two swimming pools: one with a shallow and deeper area, and another consistent-depth pool with a swim-up bar, which was a great place to relax. Breakfast had a good variety, including both Western and Indonesian options.

The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner seemed to be mixed up in the bottles—what was labelled as conditioner felt more like body wash, and there didn’t seem to be actual conditioner available, so a bit more attention to detail there would help. Breakfast, while tasty, can get quite busy, and because solo diners are sometimes seated at large tables, it can lead to a wait for seating even when tables appear available.

Location is great - lots of restaurants, cafes in the area. You will have a great range of places to eat/drink, some places 1 min walk, others a 5 min walk. Some mini marts also around the area. There are some great crepe and icecream/frozen yoghurt places. Lots of mopeds/scooter available for rent. The actual hotel is relaxing, you can spend the whole day there. Feels like a home away from home. The reception, restaurant and all hotel staff are lovely. They went above and beyond to learn our names, they were quick to send up towels or fix our drain and helped when we were organising transport to the airport. The pool is fantastic (there are 2) and there is a cafe/bar next to each pool. Pools are clean and spacious with many sun loungers and seating areas. There is a shallow children's pool as well. The adult pool gradually gets deeper. Breakfast had a decent range, not the best buffet ever but reasonable. Room service is for a reasonable price and delicious. Coffee and drinks at the coffee house on site are nice. Our hotel room had a balcony which was nice. Ac in the room was good and wifi was also very good. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. Happy Holiday ' was spelled out with flowers on our bed upon arrival. We are planning to come back! We had the best stay. Highly recommend.

Related to Lombok - local taxi drivers will try to rip you off. If you know how to negotiate you can get a reasonable price. Grab is also available. If you head to the beaches, there will be numerous street vendors hassling you to buy scarves, tshirts, purses, coconuts and trying to rent you scooters and cars. They are pretty persistent. We only had very minor issues in the hotel room; the drains were blocked and there was one dirty towel but both were fixed and replaced right away once we called reception. The room was a bit small. I recommend that Sima Hotel change the shampoo or add conditioner. I bought my own conditioner as the shampoo was very harsh on my hair.

This is our second stay at Sima Hotel and it was even better than the first time. Sima Hotel is a lovely hotel with lovely staff. Location is great, on the main street near to restaurants & minimarkets etc. However, the noise from the street at night will not infiltrate the hotel. You will need a taxi, moped of want to go a little further e.g. city centre/ beach. New Starbucks is built across from the hotel which is great. Pool is fantastic - also a kiddy pool attached. There is a bar next to the pool so you can get a drink/coffee (which are delicious). Comfortable deck chairs and gazebos next to the pool. The room and beds are comfortable. Great shower; nice balcony. Secure safe, small fridge provided with a kettle and some tea/coffee. The breakfast buffet is great, with both Western and Asian options. Room service is fantastic. We would like to give a special shout out to the lovely staff at Sima Hotel who made our stay special: Front desk: Arou (thank you for remembering me especially! ☺️), Licy (aci), Weldan, Nando 🤩 Restaurant/bar staff: Devie, Amy, Mohamed Rashid, Zoul, Zan, Agalu, Mohamed Fouzan, Kee, Training staff 🤩 Also Rahman the driver for the hotel shuttle! The two swimming pools are fantastic. The room was big and very nice with a balcony. The bed was very confy. Breakfast was buffet and there were so many choices. I really enjoyed it. Location was great. Very close to many restaurants and stores. Staff was friendly . I had a balines massage and the girl was very professional and she new how to do it. You also get 10 extra minutes for free.

It’s a very small detail and it could be me. The music at the restaurant during breakfast was a little too loud. Early in the morning it’s better no to have music. The same at the swimming pools. They play music too loud and more for a party rather than for a relaxing place.

One of the best things the Sima Hotel has to offer is its location. It is right in the middle of the action but when you walk into the hotel its a little haven in the middle of Kuta. The grounds are beautifully kept, the staff is absolutely lovely and accommodating, and the back pool offers a more quiet and chill vibe. The breakfast is decent and has plenty to offer all palates. The water machines on each floor are very handy. My spa experience was excellent, just make sure to request male or female, if that is important to you. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay.

We had a minor issue with our door handle but the staff helped us get it resolved as soon as they were able to figure out the problem. Otherwise no complaints!
