From the moment we arrived at The Lombok Lodge, we knew we were somewhere truly special. Every detail, from the serene setting to the impeccable service, made our stay nothing short of extraordinary. The Lodge is a sanctuary of calm and elegance – faultless in every way. Dining at the Lodge was fabulous. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, blending bold local flavors with refined international touches. Dining here felt like a special event every single time, especially by the pool in candlelight. We had to dine in the restaurant one evening as it was pouring with rain but that wasn’t a disappointment as the setting is still lovely. What truly set our experience apart, however, was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Impeccable service doesn’t begin to describe it – every need was anticipated, every request met with a smile, and always with genuine care. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the private boat trip to the Bagno Di Gili. A day in paradise, surrounded by turquoise waters, with a leisurely lunch served in utter seclusion and style – it was pure bliss. An unforgettable experience. Loved that you can find your own little space - we loved a sundowner on the deckchairs by the pier… and breakfast at the table at the level looking directly out to sea was just incredible. We loved every single minute of our time at The Lombok Lodge. It was more than a holiday – it was a memory we’ll cherish forever. We can’t wait to return.

This was our second visit to the Lombok Lodge in less than 12 months so saying that we loved our stay here is an understatement. The team of friendly, professional and obliging staff certainly made our visit even better than the last. A little piece of paradise that is tucked away in the north west of Lombok has incredible views both inside and outside. We had enjoyed a "Time Together" package on our last visit which I will always highly recommend. There are many other packages available and one can certainly curate whatever your heart desires. On our trip this time we really just wanted time to stand still, slowly soaking in our 3 gorgeous days, making the most of the extensive yet and delicious breakfast and lunch menus. Let's not forget Chef Jiwa's afternoon teas which is a firm favourite! The Lombok Lodge has a beautiful wellness center with lovely therapists who are ready to spoil you with a treatment of your choice. Being avid swimmers we enjoyed the amenities of their '25m' swimming pool where swimming laps can easily and enjoyably be done when alone. We also found swimming and snorkeling in the bay out front really great as the reef was teaming with corals and fish. Granted it may be clearer on the Gili Islands (which is a must) but this was pretty good for us. Be sure to wear a float so that little fishing boats can see you on the water. As I'm writing this post I'm planning our third visit back. I can't begin to describe the quality and the attention to detail that The Lombok Lodge has in all departments. After a delicious morning Nespresso, my favourite part of the day is breakfast, chatting to the staff and practicing very basic Indonesian Bahasa. I can't begin to name each one of the amazing team as I don't want to leave anyone out but they are very accommodating and obliging of your needs, no matter what. The villas are huge and the pool is amazing! Having a private chef and butler is quite special, the cocktails were great! Staff are all lovely, the special touches are a lovely addition.

Very remote location, so you need to travel by boat or a long way by car to get anywhere. Really didn’t like being woken up by the blaring prayer speakers at 4:30am each morning.. the open layout of the villas mean the rooms do not block this out, unfortunately. The villas front on to a black sand beach, so not very appealing for swimming, plus anyone can walk past so not very private. The amount of rubbish that washes up on the beach is also very sad.

Unforgettable stay during our honeymoon in October. Highlight of our Indonesian trip. Everything was exceptional… welcome, presents, compliments, room upgrade, the food, the people, sights, snorkeling, fishing, territory of the hotel, flowers. Bagus and his colleagues helped us throughout the whole stay with every detail and question! Thank you! We were amazed by the level of service and we’re quite experienced travelers. Looking forward to come back for our 10 year anniversary:)

WOW we had the most incredible stay at The Lombok Lodge. Hamdi and all the staff ensured our stay was perfect in every way. The room was amazing, beautifully decorated and styled to perfection. The food was incredibly delicious, truly world class, a huge thank you to Chef Jiwa and his team for preparing each of our meals with such passion and attention to detail. The pool, the gardens and all the surroundings created the most peaceful tranquil ambience. We cannot wait to come back and experience this truly special place once again. The amazing place, beautiful villa with a wonderful staff, butler and cook we became very close to, not a hotel but like a real home. Delicious food, place breathtaking. Traveling all around the world we do not like to come back to the same places, but this one was so unique that for sure we will be back

Information about activity options and meal choices were provided electronically on a daily basis, so everything fell into place perfectly. The staff at this property focused on every detail.

Everything: room )very few rooms all with a terrace with a sea view and very quiet), amazing hotel and place, and most of all the team and the Chef’s team. This hotel is beyond your expectations in everything!

there is a private dock, use wooden bridge leading us to a platform in to the side of the beach, and we can jump on the boat from there to Gili's.
