The Stone House is a lovely B&B, situated a few minutes from the fantastic restaurants in Baltimore and the pier where you can catch a ferry to visit the islands. The owner went over and above with hospitality. Having stayed in many hotels I have grown tired of buffets. Eating at the Stone House was a delight. The food served each day was of a very high standard and the provision of a cake to have with tea or coffee was very appreciated. The fresh homemade bread and yogurt made the delicious breakfast special. The owner took time to chat with everyone and offered tips and advice. In today’s world information is easily found but getting a locals insight into trails around the area and what to order at the restaurant is always appreciated. I also went on a sea trip with the owners husband. Sadly the whales stayed away but the views were fantastic.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well looked after. It was the perfect base to explore the area. Rianne, our host, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. She has great knowledge of the area and full of recommendations. The thoughtful touches and warm hospitality made us feel at home. Breakfast each morning, with homemade breads and jams, was delicious and set us up nicely for the day ahead. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, welcoming place to stay in beautiful West Cork.

Amazing choice for breakfast. Everything you can think of and more.. We all sat around a large table for breakfast so it was very sociable. The owners made us very welcome, giving us ideas where to walk or visit each day, and ideas for meals out. The rooms were a good size and nice shower in bathroom. We could help ourselves to variety of teas and coffee etc from landing with kettle, bottles of water and proper hairdryer in the room, not to forget the homemade cake each day. Comfy beds too so slept well.

We didn't miss anything. All good. We even had good weather.

The house is beautiful and in a quiet area, very close to the pier. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable. Room and bathroom spotless clean. The breakfast was fantastic with a great choice of options, fresh and delicious homemade bread, yogurts, jams... The cake and the bathrobe in the bedroom were a really nice touch. Rianne is adorable and very helpful. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much.

Wonderful experience in Baltimore, overall 10/10. Our host Rianne has been great, enthusiastic about her home and what to explore, and the B&B thriving and beautifully embedded in Baltimore. We had a lovely time, and even when travelling with a toddler can be slightly stressful at times, we enjoyed all recommendations, and especially the thoughtful breakfast Rianne prepared. Would send anyone who asks for recommendations to her :)

Breakfast was nice with lots of fresh and home made content. Liked the Balcony access from the room which allowed afternoon sunbathing. Restaurants, pubs and landmarks were in walking distance.

Is not really Stone House related but I was slightly disappointed from the refund and cancellation policy. I did have an earlier booking which I had to cancel due to a bereavement. This were unexpected circumstances and a refund might have shown empathy. But that's how the policy is.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and all well prepared with local produce and home made. Host Rianne was extremely friendly and was most helpful in suggesting places we should visit.

The room we had was a little small. Because we are away for over 6 weeks we are carrying quite a bit of luggage. The room was too small to accommodate our luggage and ourselves.

We stayed for two nights in the family room. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious; everything was fresh and home-made. The property is at the center of the town; 5 minutes walk to the ferries. Rianne is an amazing host. Overall, we very much enjoyed our time in Baltimore.

The breakfast was amazing, homemade yogurt, breads and jams all made by our lovely host Rianne. She was so friendly and welcoming, gave us lots of information about the area, supplied us with maps, she really went the extra mile. Beautiful homemade cake greeted us on arrival. The location was excellent, we didn't use our car until we were departing, everything within walking distance. Couldn't recommend this lovely B&B highly enough.

The breakfast was 5 stars with freshly baked bread, homemade jams and yogurt, fresh fruit and freshly coffee such as cappuccino. Each breakfast was individually made and accommodating for personal taste. The hosts were so attentive and are a wealth of information. Every recommendation exceeded expectations.

This was perfect - the only thing I didn't like was leaving.
