Very friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgable about local tourist spots. Lovely breakfast and plenty of options - gluten free, sugar free. Great location - very close to Bantry and Glengariff with a beautiful view of the Bay. Lavender scented sheets felt so luxurious and cosy! Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom - perfect for longer stays or if you forgot anything. Really loved the herbal tea selection in the bedroom. All these little touches made us feel so at home. We travelled their on motorcycles and found it was a very lovely location on a small quiet road with safe parking and beautiful scenery. Warm welcome and lovely people. The accommodation had everything you need and more, and the Irish breakfast was amazing !! One we will never forget. And would defìnitly recommend to stay here, we will be back. Cheers Luke

Having to leave such a lovely place

This was a fabulous place to stay. Siobhan made us feel at home. The choice available at breakfast was excellent with lovely home baking. She was also very helpful with suggestions on good places to visit and dine.. Would highly recommend this B&B as a great place to stay.

Couldn't fault anything.

During my 10 day trip through Ireland, this way my favourite stay. It is the perfect location to explore the Bantry area with Mizen and Sheep's Head. I had a spotless, very quiet room with a lovely view, the breakfast is delicious, rich and comes with homemade bread and jelly and the hosts are kind and friendly and very helpful. A friendly dog & cat duo makes for a perfect stay.

Fabulous bright clean room with a beautiful ensuite stocked with lovely products. Super comfy bed. Delicious breakfast with local produce and home baking. Cooked our breakfast early (7am) as we were taking part in a cycling event. Very very accommodating helpful and friendly.

Location was excellent and really enjoyed the view to the bay whilst having Breakfast. Attention to detail was great including at breakfast - with homemade preserves and probiotic drink.

Lack of water pressure in the shower was explained but meant that I could not wash my hair.

I can't recommend La Mirage highly enough. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect and had fabulous views over Bantry Bay. There were lots of extra toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities which even included chocolate and a selection of herbal teas. The whole place was spotless. The bed was very comfortable with plenty extra pillows etc if needed. Breakfast was truly fit for a King! As well as fresh fruit and orange juice there was a variety of cereals. This was followed by a choice of cooked breakfast which included scrambled egg with smoked salmon as well as the usual "Full Irish" All freshly cooked to perfection. This was accompanied by a selection of toast, homemade brown bread and scones. Overall it is a place I definitely intend staying again. A must for anyone in the Bantry area. You won't be disappointed.

B&B has stunning views from the breakfast room windows, Siobhan is great host, breakfast was really good and filling. It's very quiet, but only few minutes drive from the town with restaurants. Really recommend, if you are touring this lovely part of Ireland

The hosts were most welcoming and kind, Siobhan gave us the warmest welcome and showed us around, Val spared time talking to us throughout the evening. We felt as if we were visiting friends. The room we had was separate from the main building with a private terrace, it was spacious, clean and with the most amazing views and sunset. The breakfast was just perfect, we had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, fresh fruit salad and beautiful hand made jams from local fruits. We most definitely hope to visit again.

Siobhan was a lovely hostess, who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was great (in fact, it was difficult to finish it all). Her recommendation for a place to eat was spot on! Altogether, a great experience.

The bed tended to slope inwards a bit, but it wasn't too bad and was more than made up for by everything else.
