We got a specious room with a view over the Bantry bay. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and charming. No words to express how friendly and welcoming and helpful our hosts were. Thank you both Josephine and Barry. All was wonderful - beautiful house and front garden, tasty breakfast and the most welcoming hosts. Free car park at the place, which was quite important for visitors. On the other hand, Bantry is a charming town and the perfect starting point to explore West Cork, the Sheep's Head loop (drive and walk to the lighthouse), as well as the ring of Beara. All these sights are just amazing, especially for nature-lovers - stunning views all around. We were extremely lucky with the weather, having perfect sunshine and blue skies most of the six days we spent there. Highly recommended to everyone, you will not be disappointed!!! The Eden Crest is now in our list of favorite places to stay at. One of the best we have ever been to, and we will be back for sure.
Some more hangers in the wardrobe would be nice for longer stays as our

This was a truly magical find. The house looked over the lake and mountains with a fabulous sunset. The lounge area was large with comfortable chairs. The room was huge and very cosy. I wish we stayed longer to appreciate it more. Josephine was very welcoming, and she is an incredible artist with paintings throughout the house. I even bought a pebble painting for remembrance. Barry gave us great tips for our journey around the Ring of Beara. Both people are lovely. The breakfast was incredible both hot and cold oversions on the menu. Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Great value.
I wish we stayed longer.

Starting upon our arrival, the hostess was fantastic. She greeted us and made us feel welcome immediately. The room was great with a fantastic view. She made excellent recommendations regarding where to eat and for activities and points of interest in the area. She took the time to learn about us and what we were interested in. The hostess worked with us to get a local taxi. She offered to take us to the bus when we were leaving for no cost.
This is nothing negative about the facility or hostess, we had difficulty finding an ATM that was operational and therefore had a problem initially paying for the taxi. The taxi operator was extremely cooperative and worked with us. Eventually we were able to resolve the issue.

What a joy EdenCrest was. After a long drive in bad weather, this was a perfect place to be. The owner, Josephine, greeted us with smiles. She quickly saw we were very tired and dispensed us to our beautiful room. Such a beautiful room. A large comfy double bed with soft crisp clean sheets and a colourful quilt. Attention to detail was amazing. The host had thought of everything ! Kettle- coffee- tea supplies plus a bottle of water for the kettle. Extra pillows. Hair drier etc. The room was spotlessly clean. I had requested a window that opened - got a large window which I’m sure in better weather would have beautiful view! Slept like a baby and woke to lovely soft music playing downstairs. The breakfast room was airy, bright and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Great selection. Something for everyone’s taste. The host,Josephine is a ray of sunshine. She really cares about her guests and it shows. Would happily recommended and hope to revisit her. Private parking. Wi-Fi cover and free. Easy to find. Great location.

We were met by Josephine the lady who owns Edencrest. An absolutely lovely lady made us feel so welcome. Our room was immaculate, bed extremely comfortable and stunning views out our window. Next morning we were offered a variety of different things for breakfast plus a gorgeous full irish breakfast, fit for a king absolutely delicious 😋 We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Edencrest to all my family and friends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely hosts, beautifully cared for accomodation and excellent breakfast with the very best of Irish products served. We were especially delighted after a long journey there, to be able to charge our EV on the premises at a normal domestic rate and not to have to pay almost double that rate at a commercial charging station. It was fantastic to have a 100% charge on the car in the morning when we were heading back in the road.

The hostess was absolutely lovely and engaging. She was very helpful in assisting us finding places to go and eat, including the local sites of interest. I have never been to this part of Ireland before and the friendliness of the people and sites to see were extremely enjoyable. The choice of food for breakfast was excellent and I really enjoyed my time there. I do intend to go back again.
Nothing of note

Warm greeting and host learnt and remembered our names. Everywhere immaculate. Room spacious with everything you needed available. USB plug adapter provided. Very large and comfortable bed. Toiletries provided. Wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals and cooked breakfast to follow if you wanted. Probably the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in over many years. Better than a lot of hotels.
Nothing to dislike

Josephine was really lovely and she made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was glorious. Lots of fresh produce and the poached eggs were perfect. Honey was a nice surprise - the first time it had been offered during our stay in Ireland. The house was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable. We asked Josephine to recommend a restaurant which she did and we were not disappointed.
We liked everything.

We enjoyed our stay here with very welcoming hosts. This B&B is on a main through road, a little bit out of town, the place is set back from the road, so no road noise. Our room was of a good size & had a sea view, it was very clean & comfortable with good facilities & a lovely shower room. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend Edencrest.
