Really attentive friendly staff, from check in to waiting staff. Comfortable bed, great size bath towels, pillows and bedlinen. Great entertainment, live music with a duet The crystals on the Saturday night. This cancelled out any of the minor gripes listed below.

Swimming pool showers have no toiletries included, this was an issue as the hotel provided toiletries within the rooms but they were the large bottles in dispensers, so this resulted in having to get dressed and go back to my room to shower etc. Swimming pool was freezing. An extra surcharge of €5 (on top of €14) for an omelette seemed excessive, considering you were replacing the full irish breakfast. Finally, house keeping knocking on the morning of check out at 11am was annoying as trying to have a little sleep before check out at 12.

Staff where very friendly and helpful. The parking was very good and breakfast was excellent. Also loved the cold water available for drinking down at reception. The pool was good as well although could maybe be better facility for changing young babies. Our room was clean and plenty of hot water and towels made available.

The night we stayed was very warm and as there is no air conditioning the room was extremely hot and as a result we where unable to sleep at night and young baby was awake for most of night as well. Maybe fans could be made available in hot weather for rooms. Also one one of quilts there was a huge urine stain but maybe it was missed when changeover of rooms had been done by housekeeping but otherwise rooms and bathroom were very clean. When I first looked at hotel when booking I was under impression there was a kids playground at hotel?

Breakfast was beautiful, dinner and menu options for dinner were good. Prices of food seemed reasonable. Room was very clean with everything we needed, nice & warm and comfortable. Staff were helpful and pool ,steam room etc were a nice addition.

Some mould on ceiling of bathroom. Bar area was really cold, maybe aircon was too high. I wouldn't describe the bar area as cosey and heard a few people mention the cold before taking their drinks to the foyer, i imagine because it was warmer. Pool was also a little cold.

The hotel staff were helpful friendly and welcoming they went the extra mile and put balloons and a plate of treats in my room for my birthday which the children loved Thank you

Booking.com ruined the experience where I selected the family room with breakfast included but when I got to the hotel it was not included and cost me £50.40 for my family to have breakfast the 1st day and £27 the 2nd day as I queried the price because on the website I read that children under 12 eat free so the hotel allowed the children to eat free and just pay for adults I found contacting booking.com difficult to discuss this So my only issues were with Booking.com not the hotel. Next time I will book directly with the hotel!

Spacious hotel with plenty of parking just a short stroll into Claremorris town.

The lobby is currently the "bar" seating area which is strange but possibly temporary. I had to go to the breakfast room to find out I needed a voucher from reception first. The "full" Irish breakfast was very small. Despite checkout being 12 noon housekeeping knocked several times loudly on my door at 1030 but the girl spoke literally no English and couldn't seem to understand I was planning to leave at 12.

Excellent in all.respects except food poor. Breakfast fry was overcooked and seemed to have been kept warm for hours in an oven Evening meals , same vegetables and soup both nights. Soups and mains very salty and generally tasteless Food very disappointing Duty manager was extremely helpful to us in regards to helping us set up electric car. .we've rarely met such a kind helpful and smart hotel staff member. We were unfortunate to have an accident in room. I tripped over the extended handle of my suitcase in dark room. Entirely my own fault. We were given a wheelchair to help me get to our car and hospital. I had a broken bone in my foot. We returned early in the morning and the manager had breakfast served in our room. We were allowed to stay until 3pm so I could rest without extra charge. Breakfast was free! This kindness and care was such a help to us in a very difficult situation . We were very thankful to the friendly and thoughtful staff and management.

Okay I hate doing these because when I go to rebook it's price has gone up or its overbooked 😅 however credit where its due and I have 6 or 8 trips for business out West per annum and I will try to stay at the McWilliam Park every time . Thank you all 👍🏻🙏 oh everything

If I'm honest I thought 1 poached egg for breakfast was a little sparce but there was plenty or options but honestly was expecting 2 poached eggs. BTW the 1 I got was perfect 👍🏻

Brexfast was good. My husband had full brexfast with poached eggs. I had pancakes and then poached egg on toast.

Our room was good except for cobwed over the kettle area. Hard to see in daylight but couldn't miss at night when light on. We did report it to reception. Unfortunately some guests on our floor allowed their children to run up & down shouting until the early hours. Also guests in a room on our floor started shouting/arguing in the early hours. Disturbed pur sleep. Not hotels fault

Lovely location with very friendly staff

Dead bug on bathroom floor as well as pubic hairs (see photo 1) Crack in bathroom sink (photo 2 Went for dinner in restaurant and waitress tried to bring our mains before we had finished starters As soon as she took our plates away the mains arrived ( 2 fish & chips) which were disgusting. Looked like the meals had been sitting in kitchen for 10 mins. Did not eat (photo 3)
