Great staff, excellent food and location just across from the Shannon River harbor. Generous size room. Walkable to town, restaurants and pubs. Met some great locals.

The warm weather left our room quite warm. As with other hotels the only bed cover provided was a duvet. The windows only open a bit and are covered by curtains. Leaving the choice of being overly warm in bed or no cover for sleeping. A fan in the room and a flat sheet under the duvet in warm weather would help. Another negative was a room meant for two or 3 people had only 1 chair. There was a small table but with one chair we could not share sitting around it.

Fabulous location, quiet rooms even though its next to a busy road/river. Great view of the river from our room. Staff are friendly & food very good. Hot breakfast was excellent.

Little disorganised in restaurant, had to try find someone to seat us, no menus so had to find someone so could order. Car parking is not very big, if hadn't had a disabled badge we would not have got parking. Nowhere in shower to put toiletries, shampoo/soap while washing.

Great hotel centrally located. I got a bus from Dublin which dropped off straight across the road from the hotel. I had booked just for myself but the large room allocated to me on the first floor contained a double and a single bed and was very comfortable with kettle, ironing board, hair dryer etc. Rate also included an exceptional breakfast - also ate here for lunch and dinner and food was great and staff were wonderful.

Outstanding staff they were so helpful and made me feel so welcome. Breakfast in the morning is excellent, the server is wonderful and is very friendly, professional and efficient. A breakfast bar and made to order full Irish breakfast or other menu items. All good and very clean facility.

We liked the food and breakfast, all the staff could not do enough for us, room was warm, clean and very big, such a beautiful view of the river Shannon we had the best 3 nights in this hotel will definitely be back 😍

Staff was lovely, breakfast too. Only annoying part was last nite of stay. Didnt sleep much noise of couple who met up on one night date in room 108, god help the cleaner next morning cleaning up!!

Cryans is a very homely place to stay. We're regular visitors and keep going back for the wonderful hospitality, good food and relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect in beautiful Carrick on Shannon. The staff have been so helpful over the years. Thank you 😊

Breakfast was amazing and waitress who served us was amazing.

Reception on entry needed a little more customer service on arrival and one was busy on her mobile and all chatting to each other and not with customer on arrival. Room needs just a little bit of TLC example ripped lamp shades etc...
