The owner and the manager Jo were more than helpful to us both. And nothing was too much trouble for them. Had a lovely welcome with a cup of tea after a long drive and went through the housekeeping rules for the hotel. The breakfast choice was very good such a big choice to choose from and served hot. Room was lovely and spacious and very clean and to a high standard. Location was good for us seeing sights and visiting family and friends. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again when visiting family nearby.

Everything was to a high standard and nothing that we did not like about our stay.

The Owner & staff were so friendly & welcoming. I was given a cup of coffee on arrival - a class touch as I was tired after a 5 hr journey. The double room had a very comfy bed. This is not an hotel so you shouldn't expect hotel standard but the room standard was very good - better than I expected. The bed was very comfortable. Free wifi provided. Complementary tea & coffee in the room. There is a restaurant on site but I didn't avail on this ocassion as I was meeting friends in another location.

Not within the proprietors control but wifi was a bit patchy in the evening.

I booked two rooms in the Brandywell for a wedding close by. One of which included a travel cot for my 12 week old son. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The staff (in particular Jo) went above and beyond to help us with my son and allowed us access to a kitchen/living room area to prepare his bottles and use the microwave/fridge/freezer etc. Each meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner, were all very nice and tasty. Parking available too.

Staff were so nice, very friendly. Room and bathroom were absolutely spotless, toilets off the bar and the baby changing toilet in particular were immaculate. Breakfast was lovely. Pillows were lovely and the room was spacious

Probably was a little expensive for one night but I would still return. Single beds in the family room weren't as comfortable as the double bed but again, nothing major. They were fine, the double bed was comfortable

Staff were so accommodating, and friendly, literally go out of their way to make you feel at home. Gerry and Jo just so lovely and Mary the housekeeper was just an angel. I will definitely be back. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. The breakfasts were just delicious also, shame I didn't try rest of the menu...next time! X

The Brandywell is a lovely friendly place to stay. We had a family room booked. Jo the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had a lovely lunch upon arrival and the breakfast the next morning was freshly cooked with a great selection of coffee too. The room was spotlessly clean with a great shower. Dromod is a gorgeous little village with a lovely marina. Thank you to all the staff at The Brandywell, they are a great team of customer focused staff.

The property was in a great location, with a lovely busy bar downstairs! The room was spacious and had all we needed and most of all the staff, particularly Jo who looked after myself and my partner in every which way she could when my partner was a bit unwell upon arrival! Can’t thank her enough

Nothing I can complain about at all! My only regret is having to leave pretty sharpish to get home and not availing of the lovely looking breakfast on offer

The entire property was spotless clean, particularly the main bathroom beside the bar, and the dining area is very pleasant to sit after breakfast. The breakfast is one of the nicest full Irish breakfasts I’ve ever had and the staff are amazingly helpful. Jo in particular bends over backwards for guests and she is a reason by herself to consider staying in the Brandywell as you are guaranteed to be looked after!

The bathroom in the bedroom is a little dated, but completely serviceable and had been meticulously cleaned before our arrival. This did not take away from our experience whatsoever.

I had a fantastic relaxing stay here, staff are welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. My room was clean, cosy and the bed one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Fantastic food served all day, huge portions and enjoyed many menu options, including a full Irish breakfast, which is included in an overnight stay. Close to Carrick on Shannon and many fishing lakes, a great half way stop from east to west, to Connemara, Knock, Croagh Patrick and Galway, and beyond to Donegal.

We loved our stay as we visited Dromod and relatives here. The bar and dining areas were absolutely warm and inviting and the staff were first rate. We had dinner and breakfast here and the food was delicious. Great menus! The rooms were clean, comfortable, well furnished and reasonably priced. A great night's sleep for sure.

We couldn't have been more pleased. There was nothing we did not like.
