The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable nothing was too much bother. They were really accommodating as we had our dog with us. The food was absolutely delicious and they had their own kitchen garden within the walled garden which they use in their dishes. All the food was freshly cooked to order and the portion sizes were huge! The cooked breakfast was delicious! The rooms were clean and comfortable and had the original shutters adding to the rustic ambiance of the room. The location is perfect, with parking right outside the accommodation.
Nothing, some may be put off from the noise from the pub below however we didn’t find that was a problem.

The staff are unbelievably sound! They're family owned, and one of the lads beamed with pride as he told us that he is the 5th gen and his son will be 6th. Honestly couldn't meet nicer folk! The rooms were bigger than expected - very spacious and cosy. The bartender gave us extra strong cocktails - shout out to you, Mr Bartender! All guests are given 2l bottles of water for free (I'm sure they could sense the imminent hangover 😂). We woke up late and missed brekkie, but they said they were happy to help us out anyway. Couldn't recommend Skellys enough - the venue & staff are absolute gems!

We got the loveliest welcome from the staff and there was a friendly and open atmosphere all round. Great location and lovely cosy atmosphere in the pub. The kitchen stayed open for a few extra minutes to take our late dinner order which we really appreciated. Great value for money we will definitely be back
The room was lovely and the bed was comfy but some of the bed cushions were visibly stained and dirty looking

The staff were all amazing, location is amazing and the B&B was great.
The bed needs ro be replaced, the bed was old and the base was broke on the right side and the top. The mattress springs you could feel, it was noisy and uncomfortable. The room was clean and cute, I wouldn't stop that from staying there again but a new bed is definitely needed.

They were really pet friendly - they loved my dog from the first sight, showed us the back garden they had, so she could do her business there and they did not mind her staying in our room;-). Although the room was upstairs, it had what we needed and thankfully it was a quiet room away from the bar, so we could get a good night sleep. And in the morning we discovered, that breakfast was included even though I thought it was just room rate, so that was another thing there , that made me smile. I really recommend this place, especially when you are travelling with your pet! Great value and really friendly staff there!

We liked Skellys as it suited us as we were walking the Famine way! Our room was big and comfortable! Food was great and the pints went down well after a day of walking! As it is a pub there was a bit of noise at night but we had expected that! And still had a great sleep! Staff were friendly and welcoming! And we would stay again! Also great value for money ! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I liked the fact that there was a self service breakfast available early in the morning which was very convenient for an early start. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable.

The hosting of the staff, especially Pat, Séamus and Dylan was second to none. Instantly felt welcomed and they took the time to come and spend time with us to make sure we were enjoying the night. A great selection of beers and the Guinness was gorgeous. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower was AMAZING. Also, pet friendly, which was just what we needed. A great stay! Thank you x
