I found the hotel very nice we are a family of four and even though there was a wedding on our second night there, we heard nothing. Staff are so friendly and the whole experience was top class, The food was amazing in the restaurant we stayed for 3 nights and stayed in the hotel for our food. I've recommended to family and friends already, I was delighted to see that the changing rooms in the pool had a separate room for families in the changing rooms as i brought my young daughter and there is nothing worse than having to bring her into the male changing area, or having to use a wheelchair toilet to change. the family room was ideal

We didn't have air con in the room which was bad as other family members did in theirs. Our room at night even with the window open was quite stuffy, 4 in a room was tight in space, family rooms should be a bit bigger, luckily our two are almost out of the bottle feeding but they do like a bottle of milk before bed and with no fridge this was a problem, the wardrobe is big enough to have a fridge in it.

The restaurant had good choices for gluten-free breakfasts. I liked the Gluten-free Corner! The staff all seemed well-informed about the choices I needed to make, as a coeliac. Thank you.

The bedroom was spacious but the accessible bathroom was not quite right. Hand towels in use had to be hung next to the toilet bowl. The shelves for toiletries were too far away from the tiny washbasin. We had to use the toilet lid to keep them handy. The shower was very warm and powerful as soon as it was turned on. It was impossible to adjust it. The wet room became so wet outside the shower curtain that I had to put my bath towel on the floor before my husband went in to take his shower. The bedroom has very poor lighting and low light levels. It would be helpful, for example, to have a main ceiling light over the foot of the bed. Lighting for hair drying or makeup was not good near the necessary mirror. The room was kept beautifully clean, thank you.

Breakfast was very good and also the bar food. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. Staff very soo very helpful and so friendly nothing was a problem.

We had an accessible bedroom 109. The toilet and shower room is quite large but the floor gets flooded after showering making the whole floor dangerous so we had to use lots of towels to walk on. That’s a hazard! It also lacked shelves beside the sink to put toiletries on. The door into the bathroom is quite large and should be changed to sliding as very awkward to manoeuvre around it. The room had an aircon unit but didn’t really cool the room.

Lovely staff. Very child friendly. Spotlessly clean. Well appointed room & lovely big fluffy white towels. Decent breakfast with lovely hot buffet & fresh fruit & lovely yogurts - the kids loved the pancakes. The pool is wonderful with really clean dressing rooms, nice towels for guests, warm showers & hairdryers in the changing areas. Also has a wonderful jacuzzi, steam room & sauna - again staff really lovely. Lady at reception allowed us to check out 1 hour late with no fee which facilitated us a final trip to the pool :-)

Location is a little far from town Centre & in a very industrial area so you need a car - nowhere close to walk to. Bit of a long wait for dinner & lunch after ordering plus had to ask for water a couple of times. But these are small complaints. Overall lovely family friendly hotel with really friendly & kind staff

Breakfast was super as were the staff. The restaurant is also lovely and the food delicious. The room was spacious and the bed just glorious.

The lights in the room could have been better programmed -in the sense that one switch turned all the lights on or off. So it was either too bright or pitch dark. It would be good if the bedside lights worked separately to the main room lights. The shower drain didn't have a cover, so the open drain smell penetrated the bathroom quite badly and it was unpleasant. Easy fix though and certainly wouldn't put me off staying here again.

I genuinely loved my room. Very spacious! I had mentioned it was my birthday and there was a little treat - cookie and a huge brownie waiting for me when I got there! It was very thoughtful. I also requested for a late checkout which they graciously obliged because it was my birthday! Location was good too! I really enjoyed this hotel and would stay there again if I’m ever in the area.

Only 1 elevator to the 2nd floor! It was quite a walk with a huge luggage to my room which was further further further down the hall way. Wish the second went to the reception too.

The first person you meet when you enter a hotel can set the mood for your stay and the receptionist on Sunday 16th March was out of this world. A lovely lady(think her name was Aoife), very polite and easy to chat too and an overall credit to the hotel. The room was exceptional. Clean and fresh with a comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. The desert menu was a little sparse but not the end of the world. We will stay here again.

Room could have more lights.

My trip was very last minute due to my child having an accident on summer camp. The lovely receptionist Chrissie on reception spotted him in pain and struggling the minute we walked through the door and offered us a loan of the hotel wheelchair. We wouldn't have got through the stay without it. We had bar food, drinks and desserts which were super, again - really nice staff. The bar was comfortable, airy, bright, nice atmosphere and very relaxing. The bedroom and bathroom were absolutely spotless and beds really comfy. Breakfast the following morning was also really good, great selection of everything and very fresh.

There was nothing we didn't like - very pleased with our stay.

The property was modern, bright and clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite and more than happy to offer assistance. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant/bar was superb. The free access to the pool and gym was a lovely surprise, and the children really enjoyed it. The hotel is very family friendly.

The bar/restaurant area can get very busy with local customers booking tables to eat, so when this happens there is nowhere for hotel guests to sit, eat and/drink. The staff were incredible in trying to facilitate us and did so, and we are so grateful. It just felt like the staff were under a lot pressure to this, which felt awkward.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Lots to choose from and staff were refilling food as it was being taken. The free use of the pool at the leisure centre was excellent.

The location is about 15 minutes outside Athlone town centre. The area where dinner is served is quite small and would be hard to get a reservation if not booked in advance. I would have liked to see a separate area for drinks if you were not having dinner. There were two very small areas in the lobby for drinks.
