Absolutely amazing spot from the location and views, to their amazing staff and the food everything is just amazing. You walk in and instantly feel at home everyone is so welcoming and makes you feel so special. We had big celebrations on our stay and all the staff made it feel so special for us both. From the receptionist who welcomed us on arrival to the manager in the restaurant and his team you guys are an absolute credit to the owners and management team. We sadly only had one night and stayed in the most amazing suit, but we will be back to stay again. We haven’t stoped talking about our stay!!

Absolutely nothing!!

Food was superb, Room was amazing though could do with a little revamp and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The bar was so cosy - I loved the fires and the view so much. I loved the overall experience and would definitely go back again.

The hot tub wasn't very hot and neither was the room that we waited in beforehand which is why we didnt go into it after the hot tub. It was also a shame that the pool had to be paid for in order to use the facility. I realise that the pool is small so I understand the reasoning behind this decision but it was disappointing. The staff in both the spa and at the hot tub were really lovely though. Andrew was a lovely lad - very friendly and chatty.

All the staff were amazingly friendly. The food was nice in the restaurant and the setting on the lake is stunning. Breakfast in the room at no additional charge is a really great touch.

The room was quite noisy- we could hear the guests in the room next to us talking clearly and their TV on, we could also hear a lot of noise from the bar & staff downstairs (sounded like dragging chairs along the floor for a couple of hours) Maybe we got unlucky with the particular room we were in but it did disrupt the peaceful experience several times throughout our stay.

Everything the service is outstanding in this family run hotel. Nestled on the edge of a pristine shoreline, this extraordinary waterfront property offers front-row seats to nature’s most captivating performances. With unobstructed views of the water stretching endlessly into the horizon, every moment spent here feels like a scene from a dream. The golden glow of sunset reflecting off the surface, the setting is as serene as it is spectacular.

Nothing to dislike

The location is stunning. The staff are really friendly. Food was lovely. Welcome drink on arrival and snacks in the room. Lovely relaxed feel in the hotel. Wine options fantastic. Jacuzzi was lovely experience.

We booked the jacuzzi and plunge pool both for 25e each. You only get 30 minutes in each. That was okay for the jacuzzi but for the plunge pool you definitely need more time. We were asked to leave the plunge pool after 30 minutes. I've never been timed before in a thermal suite and 30 minutes including relaxation area is just not enough time. If charging should be at least 1 hour. The lunch menu is very pricing.

Breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed it very much. The setting the Hotel is situated on is beautiful and the makes for a lovely spot to sit and relax with a drink or two. The bed was super comfortable, I had a great sleep. The staff are all so friendly and extremely welcoming.

The room was a little small, not much room around the bed when 2 people getting ready / changed etc. The quality of dinner was not quite as high as I had expected for the price.

The lakeside location is beautiful, comfortable rooms with incredible views. The infinity pool and spa were very nice. All the food and drinks we tried were of high quality. What really makes Wineport Lodge so special is the staff. Every single staff member we interacted with were so friendly and made you feel like they genuinely wanted to help. We will definitely return, next time for a longer stay!

Everything was perfect.

Absolutely stunning stay in the wineport lodge, we've already booked our summer night and are really looking forward to it. We loved everything from the glass of bubbles with friendly warm welcome on arrival, to every staff member we met who couldn't have been more helpful and overall just so welcoming. The food was amazing, dinner the night before was exceptional, but breakfast was the final joy the next morning 💯

Nothing Couldn't fault any of it

The breakfast was generally very good, except for the last morning, my pancakes had no fruit, or honey jar, just a sprinkle around it. My husband's eggs benedict were not very warm. The snacks at arrival especially the crisps are more suitable for children, and 1 cookie between 2 people which we shared!!

The fly situation caused us to be unable to open door and enjoy sitting in the balcony.

We have been to WL many, many times and it remains our firm favourite. The welcome, the staff, the decor, the atmosphere, the food.

Nothing! One tiny thing is that we ordered two desserts (crème brûlée) between the four of us and received two rhubarb crumbles! They looked and were indeed delicious so we said nothing. Likewise we ordered two Coors Lights (having discussed carbonation/calories with our waitress) and received two Coors. Again, a tiny thing but that’s all!
