The owners were very friendly. A large room with excellent shower, large bed, kettle in room. Nice light in room. Warm scones provided in the morning. Overall a good stay.

Sheets were polycotton. Personally l and especially my wife prefer 100% cotton linen. But this is may not be an issue for many people. Overall very nice accommodation.

Where to start? The warm welcome? The great advice on where to go in Athlone? The Scones in the morning? Jim has been so welcoming, helpful and warm all along - it was a pleasure. We would come again any time. Just a great experience all along!

Jim our host was wonderful and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and he provided useful information on the area and good places to eat. The property was so clean and rooms very spacious. Generous supplies of toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. The breakfast was the best we had during our tour of Ireland. Abundant amounts of fresh and high quality produce was provided from fresh fruit salad, yoghurt,home baked bread, scones, croissants, ham, cheeses and salmon. On the Sunday morning we had a very tasty full Irish cooked breakfast. Thank you so much Jim for a very pleasant stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

It was a very good location for accessing the Greenway as there's a laneway close by to the house that leads directly to it. There was also a secure place to keep your bike. The rooms were very comfortable and the garden was beautiful and made our stay pleasant. The owner was very helpful. I liked the guest sitting room.

I have no complaints. I would stay again.

We wanted a location between Galway and Dublin. The room was lovely and immaculate! We did not require breakfast as leaving early for airport. Be aware that they no longer serve breakfast, but the in-room coffee service was perfect! It is close to local visitor sites, such as Clonmacnoise monastic ruins and Sean’s Bar (5 minutes into town center). Beautiful home in quiet surroundings.

Nice and Cosy room, comfortable bed. Jim gave us a lift to Athlone to get breakfast before the funeral.

Bedlinen a bit tacky!!. Nice white bed linen would be better.. No breakfast in a B&B¡. I booked on the evening before as I was going to a funeral. I assumed there would be breakfast. I got a message late in the evening that there was no breakfast, but too late to change.

Clean and comfortable and nice hosts.

I would’ve liked a bit more info. About the use of the whirlpool tube, availability of iron. There was a desk, but it wasn’t useful as such as it served as a tea station. I could’ve rearranged but after a work’s day I couldn’t bother. Working was a bit uncomfortable.

Lovely property with spacious grounds. Excellent parking facilities with security cameras, a bonus for us motorcyclists. Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Friendly and accommodating host. Bus stop close by to take you directly into Athlone Town (15mins)

The host is a lovely gentleman who made me feel right at home. The en-suite room is excellent with everything I could need. I really enjoyed sitting in the shared living space when I was visiting with family.

I was woken up by some guests arriving back late but it was a Saturday evening. It would be good to have the offer of a continental breakfast. I knew though when booking they had stopped doing cooked breakfasts.
