The location.

The staff at dinner on the first night were slow with the service. We had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks to come out. My wife had to go up twice to remind them, but we still had a wait. When the drinks eventually came out. One of those drinks had been forgotten. The room we stayed it was meant to have a nespresso machine, but it wasn't there. My wife rang the reception and was told it would be up. We stayed in room 203 for two days, and in spite of her asking, it never came. The shower over a bath is never a good thing as it is awkward to use. Apart from those two things I have mentioned, the room was fine. It's the little things and attention to detail that makes for a pleasant stay. Some of those details were lacking. And especially for the price I paid.

Hope you guys make a lot of money by charging money for baby breakfast. My son had literally one slice of cheese. The reception lady insisted I have to pay

The buffet breakfast was excellent. We prefer to have a hotel that includes breakfast and for us to choose what we want to eat. In our case we want the healthy options of fruit, grenola and yoghurt, plus Cappucino coffee and not the full cooked Breakfast. We also had the evening meal, rather than going out to eat, and this proved to be the right decision. It was good too having the swimming pool and gym although I did need to buy a hat before going into the pool.

Electric car charging in the carpark would have helped.

I didn't have the breakfast. I loved the views from my window and my room had everything I needed. Staff were very helpful and accomadating.

I did find my meals very tasty, but also a bit rich for my palate a lot of salt. I had turkey and ham Sunday. My mash under the turkey and ham was very very soft I didn't like that it was very off putting. I eat at 5 thought the veg was far too overdone nothing seemed that it was cooked fresh. Except for the chips. I though one thin slice of ham and one slice of turkey was very minimulilistic. We eat dinner next day also too much salt on fries. Food could be fresher and less over done veg.

Reception and GYM facilities are great, professional.

Staff; Breakfast and dining room staff could not "wait" to clear the table of plates, even if partner (in this case) had not finished the breakfast or meal. While I understand the team is under pressure to clear tables for the next "guest/s", it left us with an impression "please move on, we are busy". We had to ask for your team not to remove plates until our meals were completed. The above approach was experienced each day we stayed/dined at your hotel. Food was excellent, tasty and well presented.

Breakfast had a good selection, the kids loved the pancake making machine. The room was perfect for our needs (one adult and two kids), the swimming pool was lovely and facilities are well kept. Staff were all very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Located in the heart of the town, everything we needed was within walking distance. We had dinner in the Marina Bar and it was tasty, budget friendly and our table had a lovely view of the river. Staff let us extend our parking on our check out day which was very helpful.

For breakfast, an option for poached egg, or eggs benedict would have been lovely. One of the lifts was out of order and we were on the 5th floor. Lots of disgruntled customers as the only working lift was often occupied to capacity when it would stop on any floor.

1. Early morning breakfast was available (always delicious) and gave us flexibility to leave early on our daily sojourns. 2. Liked the option to not have daily room cleaning. 3. Room security (using room card in the lift) was good. 4. We met Manuela, who works in the bar and restaurant, She's very friendly and really enhanced our visit. 5. Checking in and out was quick and easy. Staff helped us get a taxi, that was super nice!

Not a big problem, but, on our last night the electricity for the room lights went off. The night manager tried three time to restore power, but it was unsuccessful.

Breakfast was really very good. Above the standard you get at hotels. I thought, without exception, that the staff were exceptional, very friendly and informative. View from room was fab, over the marina and castle and the bed and pillows were as comfortable as I've experienced in a hotel. Pool was lovely, as was steam room and sauna.

My only couple of minor hiccups, and they were minor, that the corner shelf above the bed headboard was covered in dust as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while, but a small wipe if tissue sorted this, and the shower leaked out by screen seal into bath panel, which has softened and swelled with this leak over time and needed replacing. It's a pity there's not a kids pool to make that side of it a little more family friendly. I'm really only nit picking her though. Overall, we really loved it.

Room was large and comfortable. It was in the attic area with varilux window so they only gave a limited view. The hotel had a lovely setting alongside the river and with very easy access to the town. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, though, it was very good and we will stay there again

Mostly it was fine, but just a small gripe. At dinner we asked about the special deal for meals before 7pm but were told by the waiter that the price had increased from the one shown on the card. This could have been a mistake but a niggle nonetheless. We had the normal menu instead.
