All staff were fab, special thanks to the guy who whipped us up a few cocktails! The hotel was clean and our room was very spacious. There was a function happening downstairs and we couldn’t hear a thing from our room. The food was good in the bar and parking was available. Street parking was plentiful too and the town is so quiet I wouldn’t even worry about leaving the car overnight. Chemist and Centra nearby if needed. Also, there’s a gorgeous lake 2 mins away where we sat and enjoyed the view.

I had a lovely stay ,... i use a walking stick , there is no lift and the car park has space for max 4 cars. You can park on the street, and i got a space right outside the door . Keep a low expectation and all will be good.

I just had poached eggs for breakfast both days and they were perfect. The hotel is spotless .. there is a lovely little bar there too. Staff v pleasant

The bathroom is quite dated especially the bath Brown water came out of the taps when I filled the bath

The food was amazing, very clean and comfortable facilities and I loved that I could have dinner in, in the lovely restaurant. Had a beautiful steak dinner at night and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Slept like a baby. Very happy with my stay!

A great homely atmosphere, with great personal touches on New Year's eve in the hotel bar with free finger food and champagne. The Atmosphere in the bar was more like a private party with the staff and owners joining in on the celebrations. The breakfast was excellent with great quality produce. These are things that are lacking in the so called higher end hotels. Highly recommended this hotel and we will be back. Rooms very comfortable and net flix as a added bonus.

It is a cosy hotel, where you can get away from the noise of the city and rest. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable - had a great night sleep.

Very friendly and helpful staff. So pleased with the stay overall. Bed was extremely comfy. Breakfast was lovey with a great time range of breakfast in the morning. No issues at all. Dinner was lovely too. Thank you.

Lovely comfortable hotel with a nice bar and great breakfast. For the price it was really good. It's only a 9 as I hold 10's for the most lux places but really great hotel for the money.
