We loved the spa-like feeling of the bathrooms and the bed setup was perfect for my family of four (king bed in the middle with a twin on each side). The lake-side property is beautiful and made for nice evenings on the back patio. Sunsets are simply gorgeous there. Finally, no BnB is ever fully complete (no matter the location or amenities) without the personality and care shown my the owners/host. Helena and Patrick were simply the best. Curious about us, our travels, and our needs. They were friendly, helpful in recommendations, and just simply fun to be with. I highly recommend this BnB. My family and I are already talking about how we can come back and spend more time with them.

I can’t honestly think of one thing.

Helena is the perfect host, we have stayed at St Kyrans before now, and our stay was absolutely wonderful. Our room was stunning, so warm and inviting, the toiletries were beautiful and such good quality. The breakfast with home made wheaten bread and berries for example was absolutely delicious and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his full irish with perfectly poached eggs. A home away from home with additional luxuries, we love it and will go back at Christmas time.

Quiet and v comfortable

One small maintenance issue. The plug in the bathroom tub is a spring loaded sealing mechanism which can on occasions give trouble. In this instance on a number of attempts at placing a reasonable pressure to enabler the spring to respond and raise the plug it was to no avail. Unfortunately the following morning is was not keen to enter the bath tub to have a shower as the water had not emptied from previous evening.

The Hosts are very welcoming and had a great chat with them.The Guest House is lovely and the view is outstanding. Lovely big Room with a big TV. Truly wonderful place to stay. I will be going back there again. They also cater for weddings. A perfect place for a memorable wedding. The 2 dogs are adorable 🥰

The views of the lake were beautiful. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and spacious and the owners, Patrick and Helena were outstanding hosts. Good variety for breakfast, fruits, cereals and a great cooked selection (the wheaten bread was especially delicious, just hot out the oven). Will definitely return 👌

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

We met Helena on arrival. She was warm and friendly and showed us to our room. It was spacious and very comfortable with a magnificent view of the lake. It was a special weekend for us and it was very kind of Helena to leave a personal greeting card and a gift to welcome us. We felt very relaxed and welcome there. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. After breakfast we had a stroll down to the lakeside. The view is stunning. I could stay there for hours.

We didn't like having to leave and would like to have been able to stay another night.

Beautiful location, charming and thoughtful hosts, comfortable roomy rooms, tasty made to order breakfast in a scenic room facing the lake. Selena was so helpful when I explained my luggage was lost at the airport! It finally arrived, she signed for it, keeping it safe and sound until I could get to it.

Loved everything-!!!

Breakfast was 5 star. The view of the lake was magical. The outdoor area over looking the lake had the most romantic and stylish lights. The owner and staff were professional and extremely warm and friendly. It is a beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend it. Will be going back again.

We liked everything

Lovely spacious comfortable room, beautiful views of the lake.

Still some construction work to complete so some areas such as the front porch and driveway are unfinished but I can see the potential. Must come back next year to see the finished product.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Lovely room with all you need. Breakfast was superb. Can’t praise this place enough.

Booking through booking.com we weren’t given the option to have a lake view room. Better booking direct.
