Tom Blake House is a spectacularly beautiful property run by a lovely family. Avril, Dave and their daughter Maisie were born to be in the hospitality industry. They are warm, friendly and very accommodating. The house could be featured in an Architectural Digest magazine! Our room was beautiful and extremely comfortable with high quality linens. The common areas for guests are lovely. Breakfast was wonderful with an incredible selection. We had the charcuterie and seafood platters for dinner the night we arrived and both were delicious. We really can’t say enough about this B&B. Do yourself a favour and stay here!

Undoubtedly the best breakfast we have ever had, with a huge choice for every taste and beautifully prepared and presented. Lovely David and Avril made sure we had everything we wanted and were very helpful. Our room was spotless and the house was very comfortable, with every possible wish catered for. This is the best B&B we have ever stayed in and cannot recommend more highly.

We had a wonderful stay! Avril was incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly made our visit special. She went above and beyond to look after us and made us feel right at home. Her warm and personable approach made all the difference. We were especially grateful for the thoughtful little touches she added to accommodate and entertain our 3-year-old daughter — it made our stay even more memorable. Avril and her family couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating, especially with an early check-in as we were attending a wedding locally (and even gave me a lift down to the wedding and saved my feet from walking in my heels!) And a beautiful fresh homemade muffin for my partner who had to leave early for work the next morning (he regretted not taking the second one that was offered to him in the end!!)

No improvements needed whatsoever.

I am a seasoned traveller and have stayed in many many hotels and guest houses over the last 40 years I can confidently say there was no single thing I didn't like staying at this accommodation. This is a rare thing

The lady was very kind and welcoming. The bands comfy. The room was big and spacious. The kitchenette was nice for tea.coffee and a bar of chocolate. The baileys was complementry as a night cap. all in all very nice. The breakfast was delicious and there was a fine choice of 4 sweet or savoory optiosn.

it was a bit pricey, 200 for 1 night in kells! but it was worth it this time anyway! we had a ball at the wedding just down the road.

I stayed at Tom Blake House recently as I was attending a function in the locality. This is a very charming property and very centrally located within Kells. Our guestroom was quite spacious and very tastefully decorated and the bed was large and very comfortable. The hosts David and Avril were very welcoming and offered to drive us to the function we were attending, which we thought was very kind. We arrived early and they accommodated us which was very much appreciated. For breakfast, there was a number of options. We opted for a traditional Irish breakfast which was absolutely delicious and the coffee was excellent, A beautiful property with great hosts and I would highly recommend.

It was exceptionally good.,beautiful, gorgeous place. We couldn't fault. They had wonderful breakfast menu and everything was really really delicious. We were very welcomed. We are very greatful to Avril and David for making our stay very warm.

We absolutely loved the place and everything!

It's simply a cozy and nicely decorated home. Thanks David and the lady host (sorry we didn't ask for her name) for their hospitality, making us feel so welcomed throughout the stay. The room was clean and spacious, with all the necessary facilities. The bed was big and comfortable. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy the nice breakfast with such tasteful tableware.

We stayed here last month for a wedding nearby , the property was gorgeous, well laid out, the room was perfect and spotless. The host even gave us a lift to the venue to save us the hassle of taxis. I didnt go down for breakfast but my partner did and she loved how accommodating the hosts were. Even made me some food to bring upstairs.

Honestly not anything i could say against Tom Blake house.
