This hotel is in a really good location and we stay about four times per year. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms spacious. The bar/restaurant is very good. We requested a room in a particular area and the reception staff got back to us quickly and sorted it for us. The customer service team is always very responsive.

Sadly there is no air conditioning and our recent stay was during a heat wave with the room facing the sun. A fan would have been a really welcome and thoughtful addition. We have also stayed during the winter when the radiators in the rooms weren’t working! Standards have slipped since we first stayed several years ago and the company has clawed back on toiletries.

Beautiful location within an hour from the Dublin ferry. Large, well equipped and comfortable rooms. Bathroom has a shower over the bath with plenty of hot water. We ate in the bar - good food with excellent service. There was a good selection at breakfast with plenty eat to set you up for the day. Exceptional service again with time for a friendly chat and advice on where to visit. Plenty of lovely walks around the grounds to stretch our legs before our onward journey.

The room was as expected, comfortable and clean. Any staff that I engaged with were very competent and delivered as expected - staff that I didn't engage with, ie bar, breakfast, and reception, were courteous and I was always met with a smile and an hello. The breakfast was excellent The bar food was also excellent I enjoyed 2 walks around the property, although more view of the golf course would have improved this.

The double bed in the apartment was two singles pushed together, which is pretty standard, but there didn’t appear to be any kind of mattress topper, or it was poor quality, and you could definitely feel the join which was very uncomfortable. Also, we had seven shampoos between the two bathrooms and no shower gel..and the en-suite shower has nowhere to actually hold any soap/shampoo other than the floor.

Room was very spacious, I really like a decor very home feeling . Bed was very comfy and big . Bathroom was clean and nice size too. Kettle and coffee option in room was nice option too. And I like an idea of a refill water bottle from a water station in the corridor . Water was very tasty . I didn't had chance to check all facilities and breakfast as my stay was short but I will Im sure they will reach my expectations definitely I will be back for a longer stay . M

When we entered our room It smelled fresh and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The bathing facilities are a combination bathtub shower. The step into the bathtub is fairly high and would be difficult for anybody with any type of handicap. There is one small handicap bar to grab onto, but injury exit would still be difficult for anybody with limited mobility.

This is a hotel and golf facility. They have full services with a bar and bistro. Very secure with controlled access. Scenic golf course that were I a golfer I would have loved to play. Staff in all areas were very professional and helpful. We opted to seek a second night after feeling so comfortable. They were able to accommodate our request for an extra night. The room was a good size with a large bathroom, desk, TV, wardrobe closets, and good lighting. We had a king room with one king bed.

The location is somewhat remote so finding an alternate place to eat was difficult. While not a big concern on a longer stay, this may be an issue. One restaurant/pub near was Furey's. The food was good and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings, everywhere was clean, staff were polite, bedrooms comfortable, good selection of TV channels plus added bonus of smart apps. Dinner in sundial bistro was good value for money and food was tasty.

Breakfast was very disappointing. Eggs and bacon overcooked (bacon extremely salty), coffee machine was out of order, no jugs for milk when ordering tea and coffee. Wouldn't put me off staying again, just wouldn't have breakfast.

Everything. Food great, room very clean and spacious, but the staff were fantastic. Everyone member of staff we came across was friendly, and made our stay extra special. It seems as though they have a happy staff, as their enthusiasm and willingness to help came across in droves. The grounds are lovely as well.

There was nothing we didn't like. Would have liked to have stayed longer, and will return fir sure.

Lovely hotel- staff were very helpful

We stayed in the self catering accommodation- but it was a bit disappointing when we arrived as there was no tea/ coffee/ milk/ water. While I accept its self catering those are basic things that you would find in a hotel room. Also there was no hairdryer in the house.
