We were going to a wedding in a Boynehill estate, and chose Balreask as it's less than 5 minutes away. That's no reception as such so we went into the bar/restaurant to get checked in. There are some rooms attached to the same building as the bar and others in a separate one, with another block being built. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff are excellent - very helpful and welcoming. Couldn't fault anything they did. A button came off my wife's dress and they helped pin it together for her. Thank you! It isn't an upmarket hotel but for the money it's great. I'd recommend it!

Nothing to dislike.

The front desk manager realized that we would most likely want a ground floor room and so they quickly remade one of their new rooms from a king into two singles. The new addition was quite nice. Good size room and a great surprise for Americans, a shower rather than the usual high, slick and dangerous tubs of Ireland and the United Kingdom. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, Breakfast was quite delicious and generous. Dinner was also good and their attached pub had a good offering of a variety of meals from vegetarian/vegan to steak. It was a wonderful location to see the sights in and around Newgrange/Narvan/Hill of Tara. All of the staff were very responsive to requests, help and just being wonderfully welcoming and kind.

The hotel is located on a busy street and the new units we were in were near the front of the property. You could hear a bit of street noise, but I was not bothered by it at all.

The breakfast was superb, and the breakfast staff knew exactly who was vegan, who was gluten-free etc. Everything was just perfect for all 15 of us over the two nights. The rooms were fresh, clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and looked after us all so well. The meal we had on the first evening was outstanding. Sadie and Enda arranged for us to have a platter of mixed sandwiches made for us before the wedding event we were going to, and arranged taxiis to take us to the venue. Outstanding service all 'round from all the staff. I will definitely book here again, and I have no hesitation in recommending Balreask Inn to anyone.

Fabulous attentive staff, as we had planned to dine in restaurant for early lunch but we ran out of time, before wedding at Boyne hill house ,a lovely girl on check-in suggested we get a toastie and chips which she offered to bring to our room whilst we got ready for wedding ceremony. This was so much appreciated. . Room was lovely, breakfast A1 with table service and on check out a kind gentleman enquired how we enjoyed our stay which we said was superb. Great buzz to this lovely bed and breakfast and restaurant with warm cosy welcoming vibes flowing around everywhere

The staff were the best and most helpful people I have ever met. Gunther and the manager make sure we had everything we needed. The women who served breakfast and all the meals made you feel as if you were the only people in the restaurant. Very clean and well maintained hotel and bar. Michael and Maribeth Dorr

The little time we spend I wish it would have been our whole two weeks!!

On arrival at Balreask , plenty of parking at front, ( back not great)🥴…lady showed us to our room , very nice room, we were attending a wedding, bar was full ( good), after wedding we arrived back & had a few late night drinks in bar, staff very nice, lovely sleep,bed comfy,breakfast fabulous, I wud recommend 🥰thank u so much…

The location was great for visiting bru na Boine and Trim Castle. We also enjoyed the town of Navan. Room was very spacious, very clean and overall great! Having the restaurant made things very easy. We enjoyed two days of breakfast and one dinner. All very good. All the staff was wonderful. Would totally recommend!!!!

Loved this accommodation. We were in the new section of the development which is super clean and well laid out. We attended a wedding in a local venue only 3 minutes drive away. They facilitated and early check into allow us to get our keys before the event.

Nothing everything was amazing

The room and breakfast were lovely. We had a heqrty dinner which was also delicious. Spotless clean room. Hats off to the cleaner. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The bar was a bit cramped but nice food and drink. Will be back.

The bar was a bit awkward. Had a couple of strange brushes with folk of non settled nature. Not the hotels fault just idiots who were loaded.

Breakfast was fantastic; staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The B&B manager gave us a lift to the wedding we had down the road, and then dropped us off at the bus station when we were leaving (both free of charge). Room was clean and had all the essentials (shampoo, towels, coffee/tea making facilities, ironing board and iron etc.)

There could have been a few more clothes hangers in the bedroom and more milk for teas/coffees. These really are minor details though!
