The friendliness of the staff, the warm welcome. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is very cosy. We didn't wake up in time for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. But we've eaten here before for an evening meal and it was delicious. Its proximity to the town is excellent. We will stay again and would recommend it.

The walls are very thin. We were kept awake until 3 by a man talking very loudly in the room next to us. I'm not sure what can be done about that, to be honest. But it wouldn't prevent us from staying again, I'd just pack earplugs in case! Also,my husband doesn't drink tea or coffee, so perhaps a bottle of water might be included in the room?

Starting with the enclosed parking area right in front of the hotel registration, the welcome from the office staff, to the rooms provided. The rooms exceeded all of our expectations. The included breakfast was great with selections for every pallet. We enjoyed the evening dinner in their outdoor area, it was both plentiful and delicious without breaking the bank. The hotel was convenient to Trim Castle allowing for a pleasant stroll around the castle grounds after dinner.

This hotel is just a short walk from the town centre and it's about 15 min walk to Aldi. The breakfast was very tasty and the facilities were good.

Stayed on a Monday and it was fairly obvious there had been a roast beef carvery or dinners served the previous day. The aroma of stale roast beef permeated the foyer and stairway. Perhaps better ventilation would help.

We have stayed here quite a few times now and always happy with the experience. The room and bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable. Elevator access and on site parking a plus. We also enjoyed dinner in the dining room. We like the town and the walks- it’s also very accessible by car from there to all the Boyne Valley monuments and attractions. Staff were lovely.

Small issue with breakfast. Scrambled eggs plentiful but bland. Had to request jam/marmalade. Poor choices of cereals.

Excellent check in experience with receptionist on duty. We arrived quite late for check in with a baby and the receptionist & kitchen accommodated us with a bite to eat just before the kitchen shut for the night. We were very grateful for that! Family friendly, nice lively bar atmosphere, lovely breakfast, travel cot and blankets provided, room very clean, very friendly staff, parking on site. Good value!

Location of the hotel is perfect, very close to town center which is 5 mins of walk. Also very close to Trim Castle. If you are planning for a walk around castle and have a good rest then this hotel is perfect. There is a good Indian Resturant close by name Khan's Spice food and ambience is very good. I was there in the hotel for a day and it was well spent. Defentely I would recommend for a couple/family to visit and there are different things to do in and around Trim Castle, Walk along River, Kids Park, Bar & Pubs. Higly Recommended for a couple for having a Personal Time.

We travel from one county to another and the thing we like most about hotels is when they have a resident bar, which alot of hotels don't have these days. We like to have some food and drinks and then head to the room, what we don't like is having to go to the local bar and walking back to the hotel.. this hotel and the staff where absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic character, nice rooms, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Super comfortable beds! The staff were all lovely and breakfast was decent. Great to see little gems like this still going amidst the larger more soul-less chain hotels. Super location with plenty to do.

Hotel was great. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the decor of the hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating and the food for both lunch and breakfast was great. The location was perfect to wander the beautiful town of Trim. Would definitely stay here again.

We were over to attend a wedding in different location and decided to make a wee break the rooms were nice well serviced during our stay top marks to housekeeping reception staff also very friendly and helpful and also Louise and all the young waitresses who looked after us so well breakfast was always good and we had dinner 3 nights out of our 5 night stay food excellent well done all at castle arch hotel

Only thing that we could pick fault with was the televisions
