The hotel was well located and the staff were lovely. We loved looking over the church opposite. The room was comfortable and the hotel had that old world charm which we loved.. The free parking was very welcome as the whole town seems to have parking tolls.
Unfortunately the room was very hot but we couldn't open the windows at night due to the noise outside. If we were younger we may have joined them in the nightclub but because we were old fuddyduddies we just noticed the noise! We are from Australia so it was weird to be overheated in Ireland. Maybe a fan would have helped but it didn't worry us enough to request one!

The hotel was situated very near to the town so close to amenities. It was perfect for what we needed with easy access to the venues we had to visit. It was quite easy to book an Uber who were very efficient. Our room was on the smaller side and felt a bit older to the ones our friends were in. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the staff pleasant and helpful.
I would have liked a bigger room but did not complain about it as we did not spend a lot of time in it anyway.

The location was excellent we visited emerald park and Newgrange sites which was close to the hotel. The food was very good, we had dinner and breakfast which was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfy and clean. My family thought it was a great hotel and would return anytime for a stay.
Our room was on the front overlooking the main street and there was a lot of noise with passing traffic and people talking if you left the windows open which we did because it was very warm. The hotel parking was very tight and I wouldn't advise anything bigger like jeeps or large estate cars to enter.

The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The food in the bar was lovely. The breakfast was a lovely Buffet.
I have 2 complaints about the food: 1.My son asked for garlic bread without the cheese, which they couldn't do. 2.My husband ordered the Seabass, but it was honestly the smallest bit of fish I ever saw served. He mentioned to our waitress that he was very disappointed with the portion( which was 1, very small side of fish). However no more was offered. Otherwise the food was very nice and tasty. Also at breakfast, there was a hot buffet, where you have to ask for what you want but the young girl, had lids on all the food so you couldn't see what was available. Again, the food was very nice.

The location of the hotel is great. The staff there were lovely. The bed was so comfortable. We slept like logs! The pillows were fab. There was a good choice of items you could enjoy for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
Unfortunately there was no hot water at all for showers the night we were there or the following morning. We heard from a few people that they had the same issue. Trying to manoeuvre the car into a space in the hotel's carpark was quite a challenge. Get there well in advance of your night out at the hotel or else you'll be driving around looking for parking elsewhere.

The location was brilliant, and the staff were lovely, including the cleaning team. They offer great breakfast. The location is close to some great attractions and sightseeing. The wee town is lovely some nice restaurants I would also recommend hotel restaurant. I would come again.
People were loud in their rooms by the last night i had enough. I phoned reception, and they immediately dealt with it. In all honesty, I just should have phoned before rather than waiting a few nights as they quickly resolved the issue.

The staff are friendly. The food was very nice. We had breakfast and dinner. The car parking is very handy. Even though their are refurbishment works ongoing, it only caused very minor inconvenience. Overall a great second time staying here. Would stay again.
This is minor but temperature control in the room would have been a great bonus as it was a very hot time of year and had to leave the windows open which lead you a lot of early traffic noise.

This was our 3rd time staying, ok some are a bit dated but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The room we got this time was modern. Its handy to shops. There is a large selection for breakfast. The bar area is comfortable. All staff were very friendly and polite.
I can't say test i didnt like anything, if I had to i would say the church bell (only if I had to.say snything) yes it goes off every wee while bit its not all day and night

Lovely hotel, late check out available, breakfast delivered to your room
We stayed twice over the Christmas, we got a late check out at one.,but there's a cleaner who just comes into the room and asks are you checking out. She just opened the door and said are you checking out, she did it to the room beside us as well, because I heard the chap saying we've a late check out at one..I don't think she should be taking it on herself to be going into rooms and opening doors...but it's a super hotel to stay in apart from that

This was my first time in Navan and only stayed one night at the hotel, so my review is from the perspective of someone who did not know anything about this town and hotel at all beforehand. For what I perceived or understood about the town based on one evening spent there, I liked the location of the hotel (centric, but safe and quiet), the quiet room (but I had not spent there more than an hour), the open restaurant and bar inside the hotel in the evening, and a tobacco vending machine. The food I ordered was one of the daily offers (turkey with gravy, mash and veg), and it was just what I expected in Ireland. It was nice and a great portion. There were not many guests around, but in any case, everyone from the staff was kind, relaxed, and professional. I really liked the breakfast bag they prepared for me to take away as I had to leave very early (around 2:30-3:00 am). It was simple but it had everything I needed to kick off my day. I had no problem for coming back to the hotel late night (1:30 am or so), as the receptionist reacted fast and let me in...
I have to admit, I did not have time to sleep in the bed, but it seemed fine. I used the bathroom, which was completely fine, too. That being sad, carpets, textiles and furniture are pretty old. I can only imagine how much it would cost to refurbish and update everything... The room wasn't aesthetically pleasing, and worn down things often look dirty or dirtier than they are... Apart from aesthetics, which is not something you want to think of in the room, I could not fault anything else. :)
