No coverage or Wifi Tv not working

The staff. Christine was looking after the hotel after the passing of the owner and the bar/restaurant were subsequently closed leaving no food or drink facilities for residents (they had informed guests prior to their arrival). Christine was so professional, efficient and attentive and in very difficult circumstances for staff. She could not do enough to make me feel welcome and even rustled up a far from basic breakfast for guests. She is an absolute asset to the hotel.

The only complaint I would have was that in the interconnecting room I was in, I could hear the guest/tv next to me very easily. He was talking loudly in the phone a lot which made it hard to fall asleep but the balcony and lovely view from the room made up for it!

Hotel was superb and staff excellent. Room also was excellent. Went for dinner at the launch of new restaurant and everything (food, staff, atmosphere) was amazing.

Hotel was superb but very quiet, no room for people watching. I missed having an area to sit and chill at a low table/ lounge area. I know the entrance foyer had some lounge tables and seats but were very conspicuous. Wandered into Cootehill and was disappointed in attractions, felt like we were biding our time until the evening. If the small area outside the bar was more relaxed with lower tables and soft seats to chill I feel this would help. Sorry about saying all this; it was a dreary day. We did still enjoy our stay.

Room was lovely. Everything needed was there and we were very pleased with the decor etc. Some water would have been a bonus in the room but the staff were very helpful in providing this as it was a very warm spell of weather. Meals were in the bar area which was fine for us as the Bistro was not open for evening meals through the week. Breakfast was served in the Bistro area which was lovely. The food was excellent overall. The outdoor SPA is fabulous and a real bonus in warm weather. Beautifully designed small space.

The fact that it was so quiet was lovely for a rest and relaxation but we became aware it was due to most weekly residents being workers in the local area. This perhaps made it lack a bit of atmosphere in the evenings etc. It did not put us off returning however. I am sure the weekends would be busier with guests.

It was beautiful food was delicious room was beautiful The staff were amazing Gary the manager really goes above and beyond worth his weight in gold. We were greeted by Lisa the receptionist she was very helpful professional and really lovely Christine was the other receptionist she was very kind and professional Brenda was one of the servings staff again above and beyond. I can’t fault anyone who worked in this hotel

I have no criticism about anything regarding our stay

Bar food and breakfast were delicious. Bed very comfy, nice, bright room with a balcony. The room was spacious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Spa was amazing, the staff were so nice, I had a fabulous facial and wash and blow dry. Definitely recommend the spa

The air condition did not work. Rooms very warm at night time, window was opened but still very hot. Lights were very poor in the room.

Room was lovely, well prepared and well looked after during our stay.

One of us had a very poorly cooked breakfast on our first morning so oily it was inedible. This experience prevented him from ordering a cooked breakfast on the following morning However Aofe in the breakfast room was very attentive and delightful and we cannot praise her highly enough

I had Room 204 which was superb. The room had a large spacious bathroom, a Kingsize Bed, and a lovely balcony. I stayed whilst the outside temperature was -4 degrees, however my room was lovely and toasty when I arrived. Breakfast was a delight, I had Poached Eggs with Avocado and Sourdough Toast.

I do wish the sign on the roadside was better lit, as it is very easy in dark hours to miss the hotel driveway entrance.

I liked that I paid for a double and got upgraded to a deluxe double with a balcony for the same money. food was lovely. but the wait time for food and drinks seemed way too long. the beds were very big and super comfortable. staff were very friendly. about 20 mins in the car from town.

didn't like that there was paint missing off the walls in the bedroom. that there was hair on the floor in the bathroom when I arrived.

Breakfast was lovely and so was service. Every staff member was really friendly. We stayed in the deluxe room and i can safely say it was one of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The room was so spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Extra bonus that there was a smart tv in the room also. Will definitely keep coming back!

It was just a bit of a pity that the hotel was so quiet for a Friday night especially for such a lovely hotel. Some live entertainment would be even better
