Check in was quick and the staff there were fantastic. Service during dinner was 5 star young Jacob is fantastic staff like him are rare to find he’s a natural. Enjoyed our picnic beside the lake.

Housekeeping perhaps need to pay more attention I explained to a manager the windows in the room were covered in cobwebs and when you open the window there was cigarettes. They sent housekeeping up to sort this out unfortunately all they managed to do was choke the room out with air freshener and still left the cobwebs and cigarettes. Waiting staff and bar staff for the bar in the lobby perhaps need further training my partner stood being ignored at the bar and ended up walking away after a young blonde staff member looked at him lifted her notepad and walked straight past him for someone else. Eventually got served when I got her attention. Would have sat and had a few drinks if this hadn’t of happened instead 2 glasses and we returned to our room

I loved everything about it, its our second time to stay in Farnham Estate and once again were blown away with the standard of customer service here. Every single member of staff are so helpful friendly and engage in conversation about your stay and if your happy. We cannot wait to return for the third time, in fact I don't think we will go to any other hotel again because this is 5 star to us. This is our place of serenity for us to wind down and spoil ourselves. Rooms were exceptionally clean, food was above our expectations, one particular manager seen us going outside and it was raining, he went out of his way to get us a table with a parasol and wiped down the chairs with a towel so we wouldn't get wet. I think he was manager of the cedar restaurant. Very friendly and goes above and beyond for customers thank you. We will be back again for sure.

Beautiful location, the grounds are stunning the walk paths lead you to the most beautiful boathouse where you can relax on there swings located by the lake. The rooms were stunning very spacious, clean. Coffee machine, tea station, ironing board and iron, fully stocked shower creams just stunning! The breakfast was amazing and even better when delivered in bed. Had a beautiful stay the guys loved the golf and the greens were just in great condition. Will defo love to come back

Only downside was when checking in the receptionist didn’t really direct us to the different areas of the hotel so had to figure it out our selves. So felt could have been a little more helpful.

Everything . We availed of all the facilities .the walks,the pool ,the restaurants . The wonderful weather was a bonus . The staff were amazing .nothing was a problem .Our bedroom had a patio and seemed to be newly decorated .Everything was spotless .There was a wedding on but the function was away from the hotel So it didn’t bother us .Music was provided in the wine bar and the foyer so everyone was catered for .I had booked a twin room on booking .com as it was all that was available but on request ,on our arrival they changed us to a double .We found that it was fear value for two nights and will be visiting again .

We attended for a wedding & from the get go our stay was great! Due to illness I had requested an early check in time to rest before the wedding & the hotel reception staff were so helpful & accommodating in fulfilling an early check in for us and couldn’t have done more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Room was great, clean and spacious & thankfully had a plug in fan! Pool & spa area was amazing, so relaxing & the perfect way to start a morning with an outdoor dip

Bar was a little understaffed for the wedding reception & wait times were quite long, staff seemed really under pressure & stressed. Wedding room could have done with air con too!

I loved literally everything about it. It was my birthday. I went for a night and two days. Very beautiful atmosphere. The indoor and outdoor pool is exceptional brilliant. The spa services and every other amenities were great. Had a dinner at the Maxwell Restaurant the stake was the best. Overall they had one of the best customer services. Their staff were very much accommodating I’d rate them a solid 10/10 especially the staff at the reception. Oleksandr extremely brilliant guy. Assisted us with every of our queries from beginning to the end. I would recommend them over and over again. Definitely a place to visit again

The hotel is on a beautiful property. The decor is very swedish modern in the rooms, adding to the spa-like feel. Staying here is 100% about the spa and pool facilities. The indoor/outdoor infinity pool was like heaven- in the cool spring air and the warm water looking over the countryside was amazing.

While the spa ultimately made this stay a win, several factors detracted from my stay. First, I was out of my room for 12 hours one day, and housekeeping never came to my room. It's not a huge deal, but a bonus on a vacation is being looked after, as well as a serene, clean room. Second, the bed felt like a platform bed with a very hard mattress. During the trip, I stayed in 3 other hotels in Ireland at this price point, and their bed linens and comfort were significantly better.

I’ve been to Farnham twice now and both times exceptional. Staff are so so amazing and friendly and always go the extra mile. Such a beautiful estate with lots of lovely walks and well kept grounds. Probably the nicest hotel breakfast I’ve had, couldn’t fault it. There is so much to choose from including cooked fry up, porridge, cereals, pastries, meats and cheeses, salmon, juices, tea/coffee, yogurt, fruit, smoothies, breads, gluten free section and you can even order special made items like poached eggs, a gluten free/vegan fry, pancakes etc. the spa facilities are fabulous with 4 different types of sauna/steam room, foot baths, different kinds of showers, ice, water stations, tea rooms, relaxation rooms, so many areas with sun loungers/sofas/chairs to relax around the spa. Wasn’t super busy either. Heated indoor/outdoor pool was the star of the show. It was incredible. This hotel has the nicest changing rooms I have ever been to. So beautifully laid out with pretty good showers equipt with shampoo etc. It had big tables with huge mirrors, chairs and hairdryers for getting ready at. Hairdryers in this hotel are also really good so you do not need to bring your own thinking the hotel ones won’t be strong enough. We got put in a patio room on my second stay here which was lovely to open up in the morning. Beds are super comfortable with lots of pillows. Smart TV was great it had Netflix YouTube etc. shower in room was fantastic. Lovely bath too but did not get a chance to use it. Rooms were so clean both times. Heating/cooling controls in the room. Ice machines on each floor with ice buckets in the rooms. Iron and ironing board in the room.

Perfect stay both times I absolutely love everything about this hotel. Only thing that I would like to see in the future would be a fridge in the room to keep your drinks cool however it’s not a huge deal that it doesn’t have this as there is ice machines in the hallways.

Beautiful rooms very spacious.

The bar area. The cellar was ok but very small and we had to sit in the back room so couldn’t watch the entertainment. Again same with the lobby bar there was nowhere to sit and again we couldn’t watch the entertainment there. Needs a much bigger bar area. Also asked a waitress for a pair of scissors to remove a tag and she replied no, a pair of scissors are the last of my worries! Little bit rude. Also we were there Fri sat and sun and at the side of the ice machine in the spa was a hygiene sticker out of a swimsuit. It was there the whole three days so obviously that area doesn’t get cleaned daily.

Beautiful building set in the rolling countryside. Breakfast whilst busy ran like clockwork. Are in the bar area as just wanted something light but was a bit too light! Needed room service late night sambo to tide us over. Rooms are very spacious clean and comfortable. Overall we had a lovely stay apart from the fact the spa was WAY TOO BUSY- we overlooked the fact it was a UK bank holiday- pool packed- no loungers free- disappointing after paying a premium for a treatment. Probably same the weekends of weddings. Overall it’s a lovely place but beware of crowds at peak times.
