Driving down a long narrow lane, we were charmed by the setting. The farmhouse is right beside the beautiful river where boats quietly going up and down were delightful to watch. We loved the peace and quiet, Jess the friendly sheep dog kept us company. The welcome we got was second to none. We were early but Catherine gave us the warmest of welcomes and provided us with a big pot of tea and home baking. Our room was delightful, spacious, very clean and views to the front and side. We had picked up snacks in Enniskillen and had a picnic tea at the outside table and revelled in the relaxing ambience of the location. The bed was very comfortable and all the usual facilities provided. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Catherine so very helpful and informative, made our stay feel homely. We fully intend to return for longer next time. Plenty to do in the area.

Catherine was so friendly and helpful. The room, a triple, was very well appointed and lots of homely touches . Nothing was left to chance... Breakfast, made to order, was perfect... While in a room with 2 single beds and a double,there was still ample room . Ensuite was well kitted out with quality items, soaps and toiletries etc . Situated just on the Lough, the view is beautiful and the atmosphere serene.. A definite return trip is in the offing.!!!! Catherine is never too busy for a chat and advice where to go... Superb host, top notch accomodation and a well hidden wee gem.

Absolutely nothing Except we had to leave

The Host, Catherine gave us a great welcome on arrival. The breakfast was excellent and tailored exactly to the way you wanted it with lots of options on offer. The location was wonderful provided that you had transport to bring you from the town centre. The location was incredibly peaceful, well away from any traffic noises and ideal for a great nights sleep. Beds etc were very comfortable and Catherine and her staff made us very welcome always using 'first name terms'. We were greeted on our first day with an offer of tea and freshly made pastries/buns, which was a nice touch. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful location away from the usual hustle and bustle of life.

I cant think of anything that could be improved upon at this time.

This is a gorgeous property by the lake, so charming and quaint that it feels like you have been transported back in time. The rooms are spacious yet cosy, very clean and welll maintained. Catherine who owns and runs the property is so lovely and her hospitality was above and beyond anything we had ever experienced. The breakfast was so delicious and there are two adorable dogs at the property Joe and Jess who are such a delight!

Location!! Wow, stunning, peaceful, picturesque, tranquil…..the list could go on. Corrigans Shore House is in a fantastic location, Catherine lives right beside the lake in really lovely home. Our bedroom was immaculate, (over looking the lake), it was roomy, as was the spotless en suite, also a little fridge in a large closet. We stayed with Catherine for 2 nights, her property is the perfect location to explore around Enniskillen as it’s only a few miles from town. On arrival, Catherine greeted us, a lovely warm and welcoming lady, and very kindly made us tea and some delicious home baked goodies. Breakfasts were delicious and loads on offer. We had delicious fresh fruit salad along with freshly cooked breakfast. I cannot recommend Catherine and her son highly enough. I will definitely be back. (Thank you for your hospitality Catherine). Oh…..I didn’t mention how lucky we were to catch the full moon rising above the lake….it was magical!!

Not one thing….i had the perfect weekend break!

Our host, Catharine, was especially welcoming and helpful. We were made to feel at home from the minute we arrived and all home comforts were catered for. The location was very peaceful and dreamy, being right by the waters' edge. There was somewhere to picnic and, if it is your thing, to fish as well. Little more than a 5 minute drive from Enniskillen, we found the location just right for our needs. Breakfast included a limited, but more than satisfactory, selection of cooked options as well as cereals, fresh fruit salad and yoghurts. If we were in the area again we would definitely return. Extremely good value for money.

More a suggestion than a 'didn't like', but maybe breakfast could include local produce, bread, eggs, dairy items. It would have added an additional regional touch.

A very warn welcome to peace and tranquillity in a beautiful riverside location A very comfortable stay in a cosy bed and all the little extras you expect from a 4 star hotel! We are frequent visitors to Fermanagh for business and pleasure and have stayed in most of the local hotels - in future this will be our go-to place to stay! Good WiFi, parking at door, hearty breakfast - all perfect

Be prepared to find somewhere to eat evening meals

Absolutely loved our stay at Corrigan's Shore House! The location is stunning – so peaceful and scenic. Catherine is an amazing host, super helpful and genuinely lovely. You can tell she really cares and loves what she does. The room was spotless, the bed super comfy, and everything we needed was there. Can’t wait to come back!

Exceptional breakfast, all local ingredients. Extraordinarily friendly and helpful 'staff', including Joe. The location is very quiet, and entirely rural, perfect! Plenty of parking, there is outdoor seating and easy access to the river and local 'strolls'. Many of the rooms have River views and are quite large, with lots of USB charging points and all the facilities you could ever wish for.

Everything from the location to the staff to the breakfast and very comfy beds, I can't stress enough how helpful Katherine was and how she made our trip fantastic. Katherine went out of her way to make our stay that bit better , I can't thank her enough. Beutifull cottage in a lovely location very peacefull and mesmerising. Will definitely be visiting again. P.S her breakfast menu I recommend the cheese ommlet the best you'll have in uk. 😋
