Very nice clean tidy, excellent parking

We were at a wedding in the venue, not one of the bottled beers were cold, fridges obviously turned on that morning, which just doesn’t work. Young bar totally not interested.

From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome that set the tone for our entire stay. The cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel were nothing short of excellent, giving us peace of mind during our time there. It is evident that great care goes into maintaining such high standards, and we truly appreciate the effort made by the entire staff. Equally impressive was the culinary experience we enjoyed during our stay. The food was fantastic, with a wide array of options that suited all tastes. Each meal was a delight, and we were particularly impressed with the presentation and flavor of each dish. It was a pleasure to dine at the hotel, and we found ourselves looking forward to every meal.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Everything, from start to finish, staff were amazing, room was exceptional and the breakfast was gorgeous and a great selection of food.

We attended an event in the function room and it was just too packed, chairs were wedged together not comfortable at all

Having recently stayed there for a wedding I decided to stay again for a weekend away. Unforeseen circumstances the morning of the day we were meant to check in meant that I had to push out checking in to the next day. I can not emphasise how accommodating, understanding, and professional the staff on reception were, in particular Cora. When we eventually did check in, we had the most beautiful room overlooking the courtyard garden. The room was so quiet, spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed. After checking in, we had two steak dinners in the bar. I thought both the dinner and dessert menu had a great selection of different dishes. Both our steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, and we finished dinner off with two delicious desserts. The following morning, I had the eggs benedict off the menu for breakfast but you could also help yourself to a generous and varied buffet. Both at dinner and breakfast the service from staff was very prompt and attentive. I can not rate the food any better either at dinner or breakfast. Top class.

If I had to be critical it would only be that I had to park at the bottom of the car park because the place was so full of cars that evening. There was a wedding and a dinner dance that night. So a bigger car park might be required to accommodate such an amount of people.

We had a 2 night stay here lately Monday night and Tuesday night. Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful receptionist. The room was large with a king-size bed. Tv, hairdryer, tea and coffee plus 2 bottles of water on the table. Good size bathroom with walk in shower. We had dinner both nights in the bar. To say the food was amazing is a under statement. The food was really really good and tasty. The bar staff were very nice and friendly and made us feel like locals. Very relaxing atmosphere in the bar. The breakfast was also very nice and there was plenty of choice. Again very friendly staff at breakfast.

Hotel was lovely nice setting

Food was terrible, food was left on a reserved table for 10 mins before the guests even arrived at the table, see photo attached. Breakfast was very poor 15 min to queue to make toast, no teacup or teapots to make your own tea at self service counter. We had to clean off our own table to sit down as did other guests. No butter for toast and very limited selection of cereal yogurts etc.. only 1 staff member serving the whole breakfast room poor girl was run off her feet, another staff member turned up about half hr later to help her. Very poor service for a 4 star hotel.

The property was stunning, it was very clean inside and the outdoor gardens were immaculately presented. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and facilities were also very good.

The bedroom was extremely warm, no air conditioning in our room, when I booked the stay it said there was a garden view of the courtyard unfortunately this was blocked by a huge tree. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive but 2 members of staff let the side down, the breakfast was good but sausages of very poor quality.

As always, it is the ease, convenience and comfort of Hotel Kilmore that keeps bringing us back. Second time this year we stayed for dinner, drinks and a night away. The staff are kind, polite, incredibly helpful and professional. We had two fillet steak dinners in the bar, which were cooked to absolute perfection. Our room was immaculately clean with an incredibly comfortable bed. My forever favourite place to just completely unwind, recharge and eat really good food. Top, top class.

The Staff were friendly and welcoming. The interior decor is stunning. From the largest rooms to the smallest corners; the attention to detail is outstanding. The Hotel Kilmore feeds all the senses with its luxury and colour. I have to mention the food is delicious. Again a feast for the eyes and the palate. A double layer of curved walled steps lead you to the magnificent water fountain with 2 more flights of stairs that bring you to the Hotels spectacular entrance. The layers steps slice through a beautiful garden of shrubs and trees. What more could you ask for?
