Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff and beautiful food (breakfast and dinner). Our room met our needs as a couple with a small baby. Lovely hot bath and comfy bed. Beautifully decorated hotel for Christmas made it really special.

The pool area was a bit tired - particularly condensation round the windows dripping - and unfortunately the hot tub was a bit cold when we visited. But the pool itself was perfect for a quick dip with the baby! Our room cupboards/surfaces etc were a bit tired as well but we were in a family room which met our needs with the provided cot and extra space. However was EXTREMELY clean!

Hotel clean. We had a twin room. My single bed - just as I like it, firm and pillows ok. My friends double bed seemed to slope down to the head board and he found the pillows quite hard. 🤷‍♀️ Our first breakfast was excellent - yogurt and fruit followed by a full irish fry - fry came out hot and not greasy in the slightest - delicious 😋. The second morning - after being woken at some ungodly hour by a neighbouring business fire/security alarm that went on for what seemed for ever! - was disappointing- no yogurt and none coming!!! Had the pancakes instead of fry which were ok. Spent some time in swimming pool/spa. Good size pool. Jacuzzi was a little on the cool side for me. Steam room and sauna were fine. Didn’t use the gym but it seemed to have a good variety of equipment.. Staff were very pleasant and more than happy to help when asked. We dined out in Cavan in the evening. The menu in the hotel I’m sure would have been tasty but we fancied something ‘different’ from the standard hotel dinners and were not disappointed.

The hotel was nice and clean, quiet (noise levels) for a business holiday weekend. the staff were friendly and very helpful.

We love weekend hotel stays with the kids, and we go for the breakfast and the pool facilities, the breakfast was nice but a little cold for being made to order, would have preferred a full buffet, the pool was nice and clean and the facilities were great however the only thing that let it down was the pool was all one dept. and with small children this is not ideal.

Staff were friendly with the children, made them feel welcome. Interiors were fabulous and well maintained Cleanliness is first class Staff were all mannerly and helpful. Which is something that lets a company down a lot lately. I couldn't fault one staff member there. The hotel, staff and atmosphere is fantastic 👌 The food was delicious, dinner, lunch, and breakfast was had. I couldn't fault anything. If you want to be blown away go for the steak burger or cajun burger. We were certainly surprised. Amazing food. I would travel with the family quiet a few times a year for a night or a weekend. I can honestly say this hotel I can not find one fault. .

Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly. Location ideal for a wedding in other local hotels at a much more reasonable rate per night. Would definitely stay again.

Room wasn't ready until after 4pm for check-in. We arrived early for check-in as we were attending a wedding in another hotel and although we understand you aren't guaranteed an early check-in, everyone else who arrived around the same time/after us were given their rooms straight away. After 4pm I went back to the desk and was told the room still wasn't ready and they would allocate us a different one. I had cancelled the cot with the receptionist who called me a few days prior to confirm the booking but this message didn't seem to have been passed on and was possibly part of the cause of the delay in our room being ready. Jacuzzi didn't feel very warm but swimming pool facilities otherwise very nice.

We had the most enjoyable time here ,had dinner in the bar and it was fantastic,the staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them SO ACCOMMODATING ,we were celebrating our anniversary and they kindly upgraded us and when we phoned about something wrong in the room they were very quick to try and sort it out when it couldn't be sorted they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was ok which it was , We had the best stay ever and would highly recommend cchotel and to all the staff THANK YOU

Lovely foyer, friendly staff, standard rooms big and airy with plenty of storage. Bar nice and food great. Location only 5 mins drive to central town.

A few minor gripes - radiators really noisy early morning making banging noises. Walls thin so you can hear next door clearly. Wine list - staff don’t seem very knowledgeable so you end up just picking a house wine. They can’t seem to find anything else in the cellar.

Food was lovely. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great to have free parking. Singer was very good. Breakfast was a treat. Plenty of choice.

A little dated. Needs a bit of tlc in bar and toilet areas. Some staff very inexperienced and didn't seem to listen when taking orders. When singer was setting up, door to outside was used in bar area which created a cold chill. Throughout the bar area.

All good, staff, food, service, swimming facilities.

My son 14 yr old charged adult prices for stay. I didn’t mention this at checkout as was rushing lock on toilet door not working. Flush on toilet wasn’t great, card where you put into connection for electricity was loose. Now we stayed in the exact same room 312 previous month and there was none of these issues . Now I do realise if I had made staff aware of these issues I have no doubt it would have been dealt with. I am just making aware of your next visitors.

We attended the Cavan Crystal Hotel for my aunts wedding celebration and from start to finish the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Eoin served us some delicious food in the bar on Friday night and Irene made sure that everything was taken care of for the weekend. We had a wonderful weekend in the hotel. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and rooms were comfortable too.
