Rooms are great but very hot for July. Had to sleep with a fan and window open and still too warm. Park and pool were great, kid friendly hotel all around.. Resturant top class. Even when we arrived half hour late to dinner because of traffic. Staff all lovely and helpful.

The only issue we had was on Thursday morning we went to use the pool having planned our whole day around going to the pool at 10am to 11 for check out at 12. We phoned to say we were coming, swim suits and all on only to be told the pool is shut 10- 11 for aquaclass. No problem except it hadn't been told to us at any point by anyone, nor was it told in any of the posters around the place. Would be helpful to inform customers of this in advance. By the time you phone to say you're coming it's too late.

Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff and beautiful food (breakfast and dinner). Our room met our needs as a couple with a small baby. Lovely hot bath and comfy bed. Beautifully decorated hotel for Christmas made it really special.

The pool area was a bit tired - particularly condensation round the windows dripping - and unfortunately the hot tub was a bit cold when we visited. But the pool itself was perfect for a quick dip with the baby! Our room cupboards/surfaces etc were a bit tired as well but we were in a family room which met our needs with the provided cot and extra space. However was EXTREMELY clean!

Hotel clean. We had a twin room. My single bed - just as I like it, firm and pillows ok. My friends double bed seemed to slope down to the head board and he found the pillows quite hard. 🤷‍♀️ Our first breakfast was excellent - yogurt and fruit followed by a full irish fry - fry came out hot and not greasy in the slightest - delicious 😋. The second morning - after being woken at some ungodly hour by a neighbouring business fire/security alarm that went on for what seemed for ever! - was disappointing- no yogurt and none coming!!! Had the pancakes instead of fry which were ok. Spent some time in swimming pool/spa. Good size pool. Jacuzzi was a little on the cool side for me. Steam room and sauna were fine. Didn’t use the gym but it seemed to have a good variety of equipment.. Staff were very pleasant and more than happy to help when asked. We dined out in Cavan in the evening. The menu in the hotel I’m sure would have been tasty but we fancied something ‘different’ from the standard hotel dinners and were not disappointed.

Good location and short distance from the motorway and also provides easy access to the town centre. Rooms were a good size although a little dated in parts. The bar area is a good size and there is room outside the bar to sit and talk as well. The food served in the bar was good but the menu would benefit from some more smaller meal and snack options. Breakfast was good with a range of cooked breakfasts and cereal and fruit options. Also used the gym which was good. The staff and levels of service were excellent throughout the hotel

Breakfast was beautiful, lots to choose from. We ate in the bar/restaurant the first nite. Waited a long time with kids for the food but when it arrived… whoa!!! All 16 peoples meals were unreal! Stunning food! Pool was lovely. Staff were lovely, especially the reception staff.

We were fabulously upgraded to the presidential suite- thank u all again. But if I had of been paying for the suite I would have been not happy. Basic room, nothing special, the double rooms were nicer. It maybe need a makeover 👍🏼

It’s a beautiful hotel with lots of different seating areas. Our room on the ground floor was really cool which was great as there was no air conditioning in the hotel and we were there in the hottest weekend of the year.

Needs air con Walk-in shower More staff as there were a few occasions we waited a very long time on food. In fact we were forgotten about Our breakfast card on the door wasn’t lifted although we got breakfast eventually

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Great variety for breakfast.

Wedding music kept us up until 2am...was not told since our room was literally over the venue room. Very disappointed with the way we were treated when we told the front desk. Nobody reached out to us.

The hotel was nice and clean, quiet (noise levels) for a business holiday weekend. the staff were friendly and very helpful.

We love weekend hotel stays with the kids, and we go for the breakfast and the pool facilities, the breakfast was nice but a little cold for being made to order, would have preferred a full buffet, the pool was nice and clean and the facilities were great however the only thing that let it down was the pool was all one dept. and with small children this is not ideal.

Staff were friendly with the children, made them feel welcome. Interiors were fabulous and well maintained Cleanliness is first class Staff were all mannerly and helpful. Which is something that lets a company down a lot lately. I couldn't fault one staff member there. The hotel, staff and atmosphere is fantastic 👌 The food was delicious, dinner, lunch, and breakfast was had. I couldn't fault anything. If you want to be blown away go for the steak burger or cajun burger. We were certainly surprised. Amazing food. I would travel with the family quiet a few times a year for a night or a weekend. I can honestly say this hotel I can not find one fault. .

Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly. Location ideal for a wedding in other local hotels at a much more reasonable rate per night. Would definitely stay again.

Room wasn't ready until after 4pm for check-in. We arrived early for check-in as we were attending a wedding in another hotel and although we understand you aren't guaranteed an early check-in, everyone else who arrived around the same time/after us were given their rooms straight away. After 4pm I went back to the desk and was told the room still wasn't ready and they would allocate us a different one. I had cancelled the cot with the receptionist who called me a few days prior to confirm the booking but this message didn't seem to have been passed on and was possibly part of the cause of the delay in our room being ready. Jacuzzi didn't feel very warm but swimming pool facilities otherwise very nice.
