What a great place to stay, highly recommend! From the moment we arrived there was such a welcoming atmosphere the friendliest staff I have every come across.  The gardens and flowers around the guesthouse are beautiful and very well kept. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna it was very relaxing. The bedroom was lovely we had a comfortable bed and a great nights sleep, followed by the best breakfast I've ever had in any places I have stayed. I will definitely be back and can not recommend this place enough!

We only stayed one night, we definitely be booking for 2 ot more next time.

We found the lodge was in a lovely location, beside a lake, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was extremely busy, with the local residents, which is always a good sign, Bernie was very attentive and has us all booked in and ready for the spa in no time. using the spa facilities had us all chilled out, and ready for our evening meal, which was delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the cooked breakfast was tasty and got us ready for our trip home. The Lodge is under going renovations, a function room for wedding and events, we wish them every success in their new venture. Susan and I look forward to our next trip, highly recommend.

we could have had nicer weather, but no fault of theirs

We were there for the 30th and 31st December. We had our dog with us so we asked to move from a room in the house to one of the lodges. This was no problem at all, as 1 was available. The Lodge was absolutely fantastic and had everything we needed. On NYE we had a fabulous meal in the restaurant and enjoyed the entertainment that night which was a DJ. Overall a fantastic stay, staff were brilliant and very accommodating and the location was super. Would definitely recommend.

There was a storm when we were there so the weather was not great and kept us awake most of the first night, but that can't be helped. We had our own private hottub which we didn't get to enjoy as the weather was so windy. Will just have to go back again!

Cold buffet breakfast could be a lot better

The food was really good in the restaurant and the staff were really lovely and helpful. The lady even gave us an upgrade but we wanted to have the lakeside view. I was sad we missed out on trying the breakfast because I'd say it was as good as the dinner but unfortunately we were away before 8am.

I missed out on the lakeside view as it was dark so be mindful of that if you're thinking of booking a more expensive room during winter season, you probably won't see it! 😂 Lesson learnt for me!

The location is excellent near the lake, great for water activities. Room was nice and comfortable with a nice view of the lake. The dinner in the restaurant was very good.

Breakfast was little bit chaotic. The breakfast room is small for the number of guests. Cereals, milk, plates, spoons and the rest were all over the place. The breakfast needs to be better organised.

The location was very nice, close to a lake and a forest park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a spa area with jacuzzi wich is nice. Breakfast and serving were good. There was a restaurant at the property. It was very handy as we did not have to go out and was time searching for a place to have dinner.

The bathroom was not as good. There was nowhere to hang the towels or put toiletries in the shower cabin.

5️⃣ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Dulrush Lodge is a great place lovely grounds outside. Staff went above and beyond for us during our stay. The food in the Lodge is absolutely gorgeous highly recommend the lodge. We were at a 21st Birthday Party at the Lodge plenty of room nice and spacious. The room we got was extremely comfortable very spacious comfortable bed. The Lodge has Hot Tubs & Sauna. Breakfast was lovely freshly cooked the next morning. Have to say Staff are very nice and good at accommodating your needs to suit your staff... Will definitely be back soon 💯 😃

Bridie and Yvonne were amazing, so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Thr room was spacious and very clean. We loved the restaurant, eating all meals there. My son loved our walks down to the water each night and the added bonus of the hot tub was a great touch. Over all a fantastic stay.

Some outdoor areas need finished, and maybe a park for kids.

Gorgeous views of the surrounding area and a very homely feel. Bridie made us feel so at home and let us decorate and use the common room for my sisters Hen Party. All the staff were lovely and so helpful throughout our stay! Thank you all for helping to make everything run smoothly!
