The setting is absolutely beautiful and we liked the hotel and our room. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. It was a beautiful spot for the wedding we went to. Loved the pool and the changing facilities. We didn’t use the spa. Lots of choice for the buffet breakfast.

We would have liked more veggie choices for our evening meal and more options for breakfast that didn’t have sugar in.

The location is 10/10, beautiful place. The scenery was lovely and the accommodation on the outside looked very nice; the street style layouts, the chalets, the lodges, really nice place. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty and the lunch/dinner options were varied enough to satisfy most people for a night or two at least. The range of activities for adults was pretty good on the island. The whole place was child and dog friendly.

The room on the inside was a little rough around the edges. Poor finish on the bathroom, some tiles and trim were unsightly, toilet roll holder was broken and there were uncleaned corners of the rooms, meaning spider webs and loads of small flies were building up, given the island location it did become annoying. Our room was also beside some sort of maintenance unit (room 28) and there was noise from a generator or something else that was annoying throughout the stay. The tennis courts are pretty terrible. Cracking concrete does not make for a good court experience. It's also set up for a 5 a side football arena, much more suitable than for the tennis.

We love coming back here every few years. Scenery is beautiful. Moon bouncing off the water is amazing! We love seeing the swans & ducks just walk up to where you’re staying. A beautiful island.

I had a small problem at the start but the staff fixed it 1st thing in the morning. The staff were amazing & couldn’t have helped me anymore. Food was outstanding! Everything arrived on time & hot. Waitresses & waiters were lovely. Thank you to all the staff that helped my family & I have a break away that was so much needed. We have amazing memories x

It's quirky location and layout. The accommodation was comfortable and warm and we had lovely view of the lake from our window. The facilities were varied and suitable for all ages, from the Fairy Nature Trail and playground for the young to Spa and water sports for older. Only a quick visit for a family wedding but would definitely return for another visit to experience more of what is available.

There was nothing that I can think of- the place is just perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing, lovely room, staff and food. We very much enjoyed our dinner on our first night, and our breakfast on the last day, lovely food. We also enjoyed spending some time in the pool. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Looking forward to staying again.

Just a few tiny things, when we arrived our room had obviously just been cleaned (which is good!) But the floor was really quite wet, so when we walked in we left footprints all over the place - felt like we were making more of a mess than we needed to. The blind on our front door was also a little broken, it wouldn't go back up after pulling it down and we had to manually roll it up. Again, not a big deal, just small things.

i loved most of everything, the staff was very good and professional we really enjoyed the meals the waitress Anietta (I'm not sure about the spelling) was very helpful and friendly, I was so surprised and happy to find so many vegan options for myself. Also, the spa and swimming pool were very relaxing

The place was a bit far from everything else so if you forget something you'll have to drive to the nearest town. I think they could add some free activities like board games and books in the main building. A bit pricey for the whole experience

We stayed in a Lodge so it was self catering but we were offered breakfast as an option which was a nice touch, but we catered for ourselves. We were part of a wedding party so dinner was sorted. The Lodge was very spacious, very clean, and the beds were very comfy. We got married there 24 years ago and are planning on celebrating our 25th anniversary with you next Aug 2025.

Couldn't find any instructions on how to heat the Lodge. My son eventually found the heating controls the next morning upstairs of all places. So we endured a chilly evening and had to light the fire.

The location is beautiful. The restaurant food was excellent. We had 2 dinners there and the whole family enjoyed every dish. Breakfast was good too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the shower was great. The views of the lough from the room were beautiful. We enjoyed the pool.

The radiators were extremely hot and the room a bit too warm but otherwise great. The spa was booked up over a week beforehand. It might be good to highlight when booking your stay you will need to book any treatments etc well in advance. There didn't seem to be a sauna or steam room.

The place was absolutely amazing and the trip over in the boat was class the fact it was just a whole island on it own we will definitely be back the staff couldn't do enough for us 😀 👍, just wish we could of stayed longer as there was a wedding the next day but will book eirlar next time thanks so much the beds were so comfortable and the room was very clean the shower was huge x

I cant fault this place it was just perfect 👌, only thing was it was 18 degrees and very warm maybe a we fan in the room that's all

Such peace and quietness , love that you can go to do absolutely nothing for a quiet break or there's so much activitys to do. We did spa and clay pigeon shooting. Staff were amazing.

The bedroom window had mold around the edges I have extremely bad asthma and I could feel it during the night very bad that is how I ended up checking the windows when I couldn't breath
