The hotel was spotless very clean and the room was spacious . The breakfast was good and had a great choice of hot and cold and the hot food was hot not just lukewarm like some places . Dinner in the restaurant was very nice and service was good. The location was also good as it just a few mins outside donegal town . The staff were also very friendly.

The hotel was a bit noisy where our room was granted it was a bank holiday weekend but there was a lot of kids running around the corridors shouting screaming and banging on the doors in the evening time plus late at night when returning to rooms parents just let the kids shout and run up and down the corridors without any thought of other guests with kids trying to sleep.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Appreciated having a fan to plug in as there was no air conditioning and the room was pretty warm. The water pressure was great.

The breakfast was only so-so. For the price of the room, I would've expected a better buffet presentation and more options. It wasn't an issue for us, but having to navigate stairs was an issue for some of the other guests. The buffet was in an elevated area so guests would have to climb several stairs to get to the buffet and then descend the stairs to get back to their table. This was a noticeable challenge for some of the guests.

Great choice of buffet breakfast which was very enjoyable. Staff at breakfast friendly and helpful. Hotel set in a very good location and just a short walk into Donegal town. Great swimming pool at hotel which I didn’t use as wasn’t aware there was a swimming pool otherwise I would have brought my swimming costume with me. A very nice hotel and woujd definitely stay again.

We were situated on the ground floor and we were a bit worried about leaving the window open at night so it was hot and stuffy in room but it was a warm weather week so probably usually ok in the room. They do provide a fan in the room to use if necessary.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Staff in bar very friendly and helpful as well. Nice comfortable setting area in the bar. Good clean water in swimming pool.

The room didn’t have air conditioning and the lock for the bathroom didn’t work. There was a gap in the door to corridor which we heard every noise I. The room. The breakfast was very average, even the petrol station served better breakfast. The changing room in swimming pool wasn’t clean and the door was rotten and lock in the toilet was like shed lock and the bin for towels very dirty and old.

On arrival, the very friendly reception staff helped us check in and secure a last minute booking in the restaurant before escorting us to our room. The room was enormous and very nicely finished with a large comfy bed. The bar area was great and had live music on. Donegal town is a short walk away and offers a range of additional bars and restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best hotel breakfasts i've had and we were allowed to use the leisure facilities after check out. The leisure centre staff also kindly gave us euros to use the lockers which was much appreciated.

Struggling to think of anything but the only minor points would be the Netflix app not working on the TV in the room and we had a bit of a wait for our table at breakfast but neither really impacted our experience!

Comfortable big rooms and plenty of room for family of four with a baby.. We used the pool, steam room, jacuzzi and gym and they were excellent. Breakfast had plenty of choice and food was hot and fresh. We also had dinner one of the nights in chapter twenty and food was lovely. Staff were also very friendly in all areas of the hotel from front desk, cleaners, leisure centre, restaurant staff and breakfast staff. 10 min walk to donegal town ... Could not fault the hotel at all....

If I had to think of something the room could do with a fridge...

Very comfortable large well furnished room, nice bathroom. good breakfast and dining food with excellent service. Ample parking and easy access to Donegal town centre. We stayed in 10 hotels across a 3 week trip in Ireland and this was the best but by no means the most expensive.

Hard to improve but the room is on the dark side due to its size but small window. There is some noise from the nearby main road but in our two nights we were not disturbed and it was rarely intrusive.

Beautiful 4* hotel. From start to finish the trip with family was very enjoyable. The extensive menu had excellent choices. The food is top quality. The rooms are spacious and spotless. We are planning a return visit.

The overall temperature in the hotel was a little too warm. Although the hotel is very clean, a member of my family found a half-eaten biscuit underneath a chair in their bedroom. In the restaurant, when the waiter cleared our plates after the main course, he scraped the plates in front of us. This should happen away from the table.

Spotless hotel, great room size and all beautifully decorated. Lots of little areas to sit both inside and outside, loved the fresh flowers dotted throughout. Breakfast was delicious- great selection for all tastes. Leisure facilities were super for our grandchildren and the adults alike. Convenient location within easy walking distance of Donegal town centre and easy driving to the beach etc . Would highly recommend

Minor road noise with window open

Very friendly and professional staff from the moment we arrived until leaving a week later. Excellent breakfasts and we ate in the hotel restaurant on four of the seven nights we stayed, something we rarely do. A varied menu and first class food and service. Our room was very spacious and we didn't have reason to criticise anything at all about the hotel.

Nothing springs to mind.
