Beautiful cottage style home. Lovely host Louise had every detail perfected. Made our one night stay just as comfortable as being at home. Our morning breakfast was 5*. We were not only provided a delicious traditional Irish Breakfast but she had provided a huge display of other breakfast items just in case. From a variety of cereals to croissants, yogurt, fruit etc… she also provided fresh brewed coffee and a variety of tea as well. We could not ask for anything. Host had every detail of running a Bed & Breakfast perfected and it was very much appreciated.

IF we had to say something, the Queen mattress could be upgraded as I’m sure it has seen its share of guests and was a bit uncomfortable.

Louise was so lovely and made our stay amazing. We had just spent a big day driving through Donegal and she met us at the property, and showed us the room and gave us clean towels. Louise made us the most lovely breakfast, catered to our preferences and gave us great suggestions of things to do in Donegal. We appreciated her local knowledge 😊 The house is only a few minutes drive from the city centre and there are lovely pubs and restaurants to eat dinner at.

The house is cute tidy and clean, it boasts a beautiful view over the coast. The hosts are so kind and caring, it was a pleasure to share a few chats. Big highlight: breakfast is really good. Plus, few minutes walk from the place there’s a seafood restaurant (nancy’s) that is worth a visit. All in all we would come back 100%

Nothing, we don’t mind the shared bathroom as long as it’s clean and spacious as it was the case

The view was amazing from the guesthouse, with high plateaus and the distant cliffs of Slieve League in the far south visible on a clear day. Louise was a great host who was always ready to help and cooked a wonderful full Irish breakfast. There were snacks and water available, which was nice, as well as coffee and tea in the room. She even supplied a foldable bed so we had a 'twin' room - this was very nice of her. All in all we had a wonderful stay!

There are no private bathrooms, and while this is fine most times, when the place was fully booked you needed to choose your bathroom time wisely.

Booked room for short overnight stay at great price. Louise is a very kind host. The bed was pre-warmed with electric blanket prior to arrival, breakfast order taken night before and ready next morning exactly at the requested time. Fantastic attention to detail overall, highly recommended and would not hesitate to return.

Lovely House. Host was really nice and great breakfast options. The room had a double bed, T.V. and kettle with coffee,tea biscuits etc. Bathroom was brand new but shared.

A bit of a walk to town. We would have preferred a queen or king size bed a double was a bit small for us.

Beautiful location, easy and sufficient parking space available. We were treated wonderful, the whole room and the shared bathroom were super tidy and clean. Also breakfast was amazing! Thank you for the great time, if we visit the area again we will for sure book with you again.

Awesome owner! She had great communication abilities. She was opened for a late check in as we were traveling from afar. The house is located in a place with a view and wide parking area. The room had all sorts of complimentary items such a candy, coffee, tea and cookies. It included a smart TV and WiFi. The breakfast is prepared by the owner at the time of your choosing. She prepared a WONDERFUL breakfast with poached eggs, various meat options, jams, cheeses, crackers, cakes and fresh brew coffee. The owner treated us like a 5 star hotel.

The bathroom is shared with other rooms and it's shower is in a bath tub that is elevated that pose a risk for someone falling out.

A lovely room, with your own bathroom, and separated from the owner of the house. The only place I had a full breakfast and it was lovely.

The owner of this property is a little quiet or shy or something so if you’re looking for strict privacy, you’ll get it. since it was out of town, didn’t have much opportunity to find out more about the area.

Louise the owner looked after me very well very accommodating plus she didn’t charge me for losing a set of keys I have no idea how I lost them lol. Nice breakfast and good selection kept me going until lunch time . One evening I had something to eat at Charlie’s West End Cafe cheap and cheerful and I mean that in a good way as I like cheap and cheerful food really good. Another night I had a meal at Mickalene’s and again food wasn’t too overly expensive and really lovely food. The places to visit in around Ardara are fantastic close to Donegal Killybeggs and Rossnowlagh . Silver Strand Beach beautiful check out on your way up to it as there is another beach on right hand side which I didn’t know the name of cliffs on left snide and little lay-by to stop. Portnoo beach beautiful as well . Generally loved my stay and will most certainly be back down with Louise in the future .
