Amazing from start to finish, hots were very welcoming and knowledgeable about this to do in the area, place to eat etc. We were greeted on arrival and shown to our beautiful room which was spacious, spotlessly clean and the ensuite with shower was really wonderful, breakfast is a serve yourself continental breakfast, from the kitchen on site ,the fridge is stacked with high quality yogurts, smoothies, fruits, variety of milks, caters for those who have food allergies ( prior notice advised) breakfast pastries, eggs cereal, toast, porridge it's all there for you. The dining area is wonderful to unwind in as there are two sofas and a TV if you want to give someone in your room space to sleep on etc and another seating area with comfy sofas and tv as you come through the main door. Could not fault this family run business as it's exceptional value and really luxurious. Will most definitely be returning very soon. Highly recommend you check it out
Having to leave.

Lovely place, decor and facilities all seemed very new and fresh. Easy instructions to check in - good communication. Room was cosy and comfortable, felt very relaxing. TV was a smart TV so could use streaming services which was good. Really liked the self serve breakfast concept - loads of choice. Spoke to staff/owner? who was very friendly. Located in the heart of the small village with a few shops / food places within a minute or two walk. Easy to park on the road right outside.
Only minor points / suggestions. Would have preferred a key card vs the door code for our room (or the ability to set our own code), as it seemed the assigned code could easily have been guessed by other people who could then in theory access your room. The bin in our bathroom hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests. Bedside lights were far too bright and blue, so we chose not to use them. Softer lighting / lamps would be much better.

The room was a good size and in good condition with a reasonable sized bathroom and clean. Great location in the middle of town. There was a sitting area and a large kitchenette (no cooking facilities just work benches fridge dishwasher). This is effectively a non serviced apartment with food provided in the fridge and on the benches it’s not what I would call a B&B
It’s not a B&B you never see the owners except when you check in. It has no soul like most B&Bs in Ireland you could be anywhere and it’s forgettable. There is street parking for free but no off street parking. There is nothing cooked for breakfast (except boiled egg and they were more trouble than worth) and the food you get is in the fridge and you’re expected to pack the dishwasher it’s like being in a house share like a university student except the fridge has food.

The Atlantic Lodge exceeded my expectations for several reasons: it was a newly refurbished property with lovely decor - think modern glam....nice light grey and pink/mauve tones with mirrored furniture. It was especially nice to be on the ground floor...a nice break to not have to carry bags up stairs. I've stayed in Ardara before - this is by far a much better experience than when there was only one other choice of hotel. A HUGE improvement for a stay in a wonderful little Co Donegal village....one of my favorites. Great DIY breakfast/kitchen options too.
Other guests being loud in the hallway late at night.......just inconsiderate when you're staying in a small property.

The Atlantic Lodge is a gem! Thomas, the owner, greeted us when we arrived. He gave us dinner recommendations and showed us the community lounge & breakfast area. Thomas was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. The lounge is very comfortable and inviting. Breakfast is self serve. The kitchen had an unbelievable amount of breakfast options. A few things we saw, cereals, bread, Nutella, jams, cookies. The fridge was stocked with eggs, yogurt, fruits, cheese, ham, juice, milk. Our room was quite nice with a great shower. Although the room faced Main Street, there is little traffic at night and we’re were able to keep the windows open. Earplugs are provided if you need them. We highly recommend staying at the Atlantic Lodge, it far exceeded our expectations.
We loved everything😊

I’ve never stayed any where like this. It would be great to stay here a few days. Every thing with booking team is done by text, email messages. Lodge is suitable for person to be independent/self sufficient looking after them selves. Fridge and kitchen stocked with essentials.Kitchen area and large dinning /sitting room area very clean and comfortable also.I’ll definitely stay again.I’d love to know if a second lodge like this is available anywhere else. I’d also like to know what type of beds they were. I’d look into buying one. It was like sleeping on a cloud.
Woken at 8am by other people making breakfast. We didn’t get to bed until 2. But it still felt like a home environment sounds also a bit comforting.

Clean, modern, well located, good breakfast and comfortable beds.
Noise seemed to travel very easily through the building, so we struggled to get a good sleep (though ear plugs were provided, so I suspect this has been said before and they've provided somewhat of a solution, to their credit). The window also needs a curtain as the light comes in around the blind (a lot!). This woke us up early both days we were there, unfortunately. Neither of these things meant we wouldn't stay again but would definitely like to see curtains if we come back 😊

Atlantic Lodge is so clean and comfortable. Very modern & warm and cosy and highly decorated. The staff were so friendly when we arrived & we really enjoyed our stay. We felt safe also with the codes at the door and in our room when coming back in. The room and bathroom was spotless clean & so was the whole lodge. The shower was amazing! The kitchen was stocked with whatever you needed and I loved the added extra of a hot water bottle when I arrived in from a night out on the town last night for extra coziness as it was a cold, winters night in Ardara. The location is also perfect as it’s right in the centre of town. We really enjoyed our stay in Ardara. A beautiful, friendly and lovely place. The people in Ardara are like no other! We will definitely be back.

Atlantic Lodge exceeded our expectations. Located in the heart of Ardara town, we meet Laura's Dad who showed us to our room which was clean and warm. To gain access to the building and to the room you had codes, everything felt safe and secure. Our room had two comfy beds (Double & Single) with ensuite. The breakfast was self-service, but the array of foods was outstanding. There was loads to select from, you could not go hungry, plus a lovely large dining area with wide screen tv which our son loved. We cannot recommend Atlantic Lodge B&B enough, Laura and family are doing wonderful work and running a fantastic business. We will certainly be back. Thank you.
There was nothing to dislike, perfect all around.

I stayed for three nights with my sister. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Our room was spacious and spotless with excellent comfortable beds- I had three great night's sleep! The bathroom was perfect. Breakfast was self service, and there was a wide choice of food and I was able to boil my own eggs for breakfast. The hosts were very helpful in recommending local attractions, live music and transport options.
I cant think of anything!
