The Waterfront Hotel is a beautiful hotel situated in a wonderful location in Dungloe. We stayed in the O’Leary Suite and the room was fabulous. There is everything you need and the lovely housekeeping staff can assist you should you require additional supplies. The view from the room was also lovely. Staff at the Waterfront go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and everyone is very welcoming. The hotel food is delicious. At breakfast there was a wide range of hot and cold foods to choose from but the full Irish breakfast was delicious! Special thanks to Colin the chef for being so kind and welcoming, it was very much appreciated. The restaurant in the evening serves beautiful food too with daily specials. The fresh fish is outstanding and so tasty. I highly recommend giving the Waterfront a visit, whether for lunch/dinner or a relaxing stay. It is within walking distance to a variety of shops and amenities. I would also like to say a special thank you to Mairead on reception as she made our stay that much more enjoyable with our daily chats, and her always making sure that we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. She is an asset to the team. I hope to return to the Waterfront again soon. Thank you very much for everything, from Lisa & Maryann.
Nothing to dislike. Perhaps adding a few more channels to the tv would be good. No complaints.

Breakfast buffet style for cereals and toast, chef arranging your choice of food on your plate. Food was delicious and well cooked, nor easy keeping fried eggs runny and warm at the same time. Dinner. Arrived Thursday evening to an Italian night good variety to choose from Generous portions and delicious. Friday evening special was meat mixed grill or fish mixed grill, both were well cooked, generous portions and delicious. Bit disappointed no special on Saturday evening. However their standard menu had a good variety of dishes again good portions and delicious. The bedrooms are a good size, with tea/coffee facilities. Iron and ironing board. Large comfy bed. Bathroom a good size, ours had a walk in shower with plenty of hot water The lobby of the hotel has lots of comfy sofas and chairs to sit and enjoy a coffee or chairs to sit and while away a few hours. There is a secure children's playground accessed from the ba area The nicest part of the hotel is the view from the bar area, meals are served here which has beautiful views of the sea and surrounding hills. This is our second visit to this hotel, great place to stay and use as a base to explore the wild Atlantic way in this part of Donegal.

Very well positioned, lots of parking. Clean. Modern. Everything works well. Lots of staff. Restaurant not open, but food served in the bar area ( where you also have breakfast). Food was as really good, much better than you might expect in a pub. Service prompt. Good gym behind hotel which you can use for free. Trying hard as a hotel and a really nice stay. Obviously successful, quite busy. We’d go again.
The smell of the kitchen permeates the building. In our room you could not run a bath without getting into it. We didn’t manage to use it at all.

Location was fabulous. Clean, comfortable, great staff. Breakfast was very nice. Bar prices weren't extortionate. Easy walk to the village.
Room didn't have a main light and the lights were confusing to control. No plugs near the bed, only on the dressing table. Towels were very small. The bathroom door made a very loud creaking noise when trying to shut it, which disturbed our sleep. The bathroom light came on automatically and flicked on and off if the door wasn't shut. The Shower tray needs to be replaced as it's very discoloured. It was difficult to control the room temperature

Liked the hotel all the way through. The fact it has a lift and ample parking with blue badge spaces to the rear. Health club in the grounds too, didn't use so don't know prices etc. Easy walk into town and good base for seeing the county . Everything so clean, up to date and comfortable, the Waterfront must have had a refurbishment lately as it's in immaculate condition. The views, bedroom, beautiful modern bathroom with excellent walk in shower, food, bar and most of all staff. So we booked an extra night.
Liked it all.

A very warm welcome and given all the relevant info we needed and also referred to my allergy requirements. Our room was spotless, (as was the whole hotel)..it was well equipped etc and the bed was extremely comfy. Infact my wife and I voted it the most comfy bed we had slept in at 8 different Hotels/B&B's during our 15 day holiday in Ireland. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice of options etc. The evening menu also had a wide choice of options at very reasonable prices. Meals were well presented and the service was excellent even when they were very busy. All the staff we encountered during our stay were very pleasant and enjoyed the opportunity to stop and chat. They seemed well trained and efficient and actually gave the impression that they enjoyed their work.
Nothing really...we were woken in the early hours by some rowdy , inconsiderate guests returning to their rooms...the hotel apologised on their behalf...but it wasn't their fault.

Superb location and views. Breakfast was great with a good selection of food both hot or cold choices available. We had a meal on the first night in the hotel which was excellent. Rooms very spacious with tea and coffee facilities and a safe in the wardrobe. Will definitely return.
Really struggled flushing the toilet, had to use two hands to press down the buttons as so stiff. Lady on reception needs to speak up abit louder as came with 90 yr old parents and they couldn’t hear a word she said.

Lovely friendly staff who provide very good service in a relaxed environment. Hotel is excellent value. Food at breakfast and dinner was plentiful, hot and tasty. Rooms are compact with good storage. Bedrooms are very fresh and clean and the bed is wonderfully comfortable. fridge is a bonus. Small accessible playground for children just outside dining area. great views across the bay.
The carpet on stairs and corridors could be refreshed and some of the bar/restaurant chairs have fabric in need of a bit of repair. The fitness suite at the back of the hotel is a great addition and it would be superb if there was a swimming pool addition at some stage. Venue is an excellent location for touring the rosses and glenties.

The room was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you'd need. The hand wash and body wash smelt fabulous and there also was a bottle of still and sparkling water. I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and they'd left a plate in the room with little bitesize desserts and a message saying happy anniversary, such a nice touch. We ate in the bar, the food was delicious and reasonable. Breakfast was very tasty, plentiful and hit the spot! Overall I'd recommend this hotel, we'd a lovely stay!
The walls seemed really thin in the bedrooms, I could hear people showering above me, but honestly didn't bother me!

Hotel very nicely situated overlooking the bay, spotlessly clean, modern decor, comfortable bed and excellent shower room. 10/10 Lift available and blue badge parking to rear with access to reception. Food is very good as are the staff looking after us, even when under pressure with a busy Saturday evening in the bar, greeting staff squeezed us in and with only a little wait barman Tam sorted us with our drinks and menus. 10/10.
