We had a lovely few days staying in Harvey's Point. From the minute we arrived the location was breathtaking ,the Hotel is beautiful and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed by Padraig who tool our bags to the room once he got us checked in. The executive suite we stayed in was exquisite, spotless and with the biggest bathroom I have ever seen. Lovely touch from the hotel was a birthday greeting and card for my partner accompanied by handmade chocolates. Also the addition of fresh milk in the fridge and home baked cookies each day was a lovely touch. Breakfast is a feat fit for a King and really sets you up for the day. We had drinks in the Bar which is a beautiful with very attentive bar staff and a pianist playing one night . We ate in the bar which is separate from the main restaurant and the food is top class. We both had steaks which were cooked perfectly. Overall staying here is not cheap but definitely a treat worth doing. We will 100% be back again. I can't recommend it highly enough

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly (and the staff member offered to park our car). This continued throughout our stay with smiley, genuine, personal interactions with all the staff… at meal times and generally in the hotel grounds. Our stay here was first class all the way. We were made to feel special and valued. Really felt like a trip back to times gone by where a stay in a nice hotel was a treat and everyone was keen to exceed your expectations. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were brilliant. The evening meal we had was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Delicious, high quality ingredients and a good selection which pleased everyone in our party. The lake and surrounding countryside are so beautiful and Donegal town very close by with great pubs and shopping for tweed and souvenirs. We will be back!

Every member of staff we dealt with was excellent. They were very friendly and attentive, without ever being over-bearing. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Credit to every member of staff. The breakfast was delicious. Great variety. Had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant, and feel like it was a very fair price for the standard of food.

The restaurant was quite warm. We left quite quickly after finishing dinner as we were struggling with the heat to be honest. Similar happened during breakfast. The walking trails could be better signposted.

Our room was absolutely incredible. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed. All the staff we encountered were polite and accommodating. Gorgeous setting and a perfect place to lay your head while exploring all that Donegal and the surrounding area has to offer :)

At first we thought the price was a bit steep as we were staying for a wedding but this place is worth every penny. We are looking forward to returning and getting a chance to enjoy the hotel and its surrounding area without a wedding to attend.

The rooms are exceptionally large and equipped with numerous conveniences. The staff are universally friendly, charming, and accommodating. The view is phenomenal, and the good noise proofing in the rooms combined with the quiet atmosphere of the lake makes for a serene stay.

There didn't appear to be any in-room cooling, and while the temperature at Lough Eske seldom gets unbearably hot, I sleep best in a very cool room and it would have been nice to have the option to drop the temperature by a couple degrees.

I stayed here for a night as a treat for my friend's birthday. It was just after New Year. The hotel was cosy and inviting with the Christmas decorations still up and log fires burning... I counted five, heaven. Our room was huge with a mini kitchen. Beds were large and very comfortable. The food was delicious and as there was a wedding the same day, we were all treated to a fireworks display that evening. Breakfast the next morning was first class and the view from the dining room was gorgeous. Watching swans on the lake, what more could you ask for?

There wasn't much to not like to be fair. I would definitely go back.

The staff were exceptional, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. And compliments to the chefs and all catering staff as the food was the best we’ve ever had anywhere.

The only one criticism would be the lack or air conditioning in our lakeside view room . In a beautiful large room there were only two tiny windows with even smaller openings for ventilation which made the room very hot and stuffy . Even though there was a fan provided , it’s noisy and only effective in one area .

The room was a joy, super comfortable bed. Breakfast was delightful, as much choice as you could want. We really enjoyed the fine dining experience and Geraldine was super helpful and brought the experience to another level.

I did not enjoy the burger in the bar resturant but the sea food chowder was outstanding. Just an observation rather than a dislike, the staff could be too efficient with clearing our table at breakfast. Having come back to our table to find cutlery, saucer and spoon and side plates had been cleared before we had finished with them

The staff were amazing so friendly and personal especially Eilish in particular at front of house, she was dealing with other guests when we were checking in but at breakfast the next morning she knew about what we were celebrating and remebered it throughout our stay and I noticed the same with other guests.

The room we had been staying was 318 the bathroom windows were covered in cobwebs and the room in general had a lot of flies in it from check in and kept us awak part of the night.

We had a wonderful stay - the room far exceeded our expectations, it was so spacious & comfortable. We loved the breakfast, my husband ranking it the top hotel breakfast he's had! Beautiful location, breakfast is served overlooking the lake. The bar is lovely & the terrace area is also beautiful. Lovely walks around the area. We attended a wedding & were spoiled for choice with the food over the weekend. We would love to come back!
