Catherine made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is very clean. Great breakfast. Plenty to choose from. Gorgeous homemade brown bread, preserves, fresh fruits, yoghurt, seeds, cereals, porridge, along with a traditional Irish breakfast. The kids loved the jug of hot chocolate. Comfy room, good shower. The house is located in a tranquil place surrounded by fields, mature trees, and a little church with views over a lake. Catherine was very informative about the area. We did the Cuilcagh boarded walk, which is a must! We also visited the Marble Arch caves, Brackley Lake, and Enniskillen.

This B&B was really lovely and Catherine is a wonderful hostess who made us all really welcome. When we were unable to get a taxi at a busy time of day, her husband very kindly gave us a lift to a local hotel. The house is in a beautiful and quiet location with a lake view from some of the bedrooms. The beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was superb not to mention the home baked bread which was served along with the toast. I would higgly recommend the B&B.

We were visiting family in Ballyconnel. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The property was in the country on the edge of Bawnboy village in an excellent place as a base for walkers, cyclists and fishing but not too far from anywhere by car. Catherine was lovely, friendly and produce a wonderful breakfast with lots of choice. Over all an excellent B&B, we will definately be back!

The location is nice and quiet, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking! The host was very nice and helpful when we were looking for a place to eat and do laundry. There was a cute little church next door that was nice to walk through too.

Beds are small, but they were fine for 1 night for us.

The owner/hostess was very friendly, kind and obliging, serving delicious food for breakfast, which included several home-made items.

The hot tap in the sink in room 3 was a bit fierce ! Watch out for splahes. A handy idea would be a second bin in the bedroom as well as the bathroom.

Beautiful B&B with lovely gardens in a nice quiet location. The host was super friendly and helpful and we spent time in her front room playing cards in front of the fire. The cooked breakfast was really good, and we enjoyed the homemade jams. The home was very clean and tidy and I would certainly recommend it as a nice place to stay.

The house is located in really picturesque village, surrounded by mountains, with lots of lakes. The way itself was extremely beautiful. Its about 30 min drive to Stairways to Heaven hike and same amount to Drumshanbo Gin Distillery (we did both). Host is extremely nice. The Irish breakfast was the best I have ever eaten.

What a really enjoyable stay in Lake Avenue House. Our Host Catherine was a Fantastic Lady and a fabulous Cook. The Location was Heaven on Earth. Will most definitely stay with Catherine again. Thank you Catherine for a memorable stay. Kind regards Philip and Frances.

Beautiful location and just a fantastic professional B&B set up. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed and bedding. The breakfasts are exceptional and freshly made to order. Lovely coffee , home baking breads and cakes.
