Lovely decor in the whole hotel. Hallways light and wide and welcoming. Nicely furnished. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was a nice size, perfect for our stay. Loved the bar area. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice to suit all tastes. Loads of parking outside. A short distance from the town centre. Conveniently located for all major roads. A very pleasant hotel for a stay.

Can't find anything to fault the Four Seasons on.

location perfect on the outskirts of the town of Monaghan for pleasant walks, staff were very attentive of customers needs and worked well as a team, food was a good selection of choice and rooms were comfortable and adequate was a fantastic large TV.

Only a two night stay so did not have time to sample the leisure centre but a lot of people were using it.

Location right on multiple routes to the rest of Ireland. Classic hotel feel

The rooms weren’t lit very well. The spot lights above the bed did not provide enough light to have the ‘big lights’ off, and the lamp on the desk gave little to no lighting.

The staff were so friendly, Trisha the receptionist was the nicest lady. I think if you have good friendly staff that’s all you need. Food was amazing, the room was lovely and very comfy. I’m coming back 27th June for my nieces wedding. I want to thank the hotel for their hospitality and excellent service. Bravo. I never normally do reviews but just had too as I had the best experience

Nothing I did not like

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and quiet, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. There was a good choice at breakfast and checking in and out was seamless

Perhaps at weekends the breakfast time could be extended a little but really we liked everything about the hotel

Function room was lovely.

Breakfast was bland...mushrooms and bacon were not cooked enough. No taxis available to bring people home after function...not acceptable. They knew there was a function on for 280 people and they didn't have accommodation for all so how did they think guest would get home. No iron or ironing board in room.

We really enjoyed our stay, the meals for breakfast and evening meal were delicious. Our room was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly making our stay a very pleasant experience. The location was convenient for travelling around the local walkways.

We found everything to be very satisfactory

The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and polite. The 2 ladies at the reception desk are extremely nice and very helpful.

The food in the bar was just OK, and we only ordered a main course. We had to ask if they had forgotten our order after waiting 35mins for it. The breakfast was disappointing rashers and sausages were like leather and the toast was pre made and sitting in the hot plates it was inedible.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms. We were attending a wedding at a nearby venue but enjoyed a very tasty lunch at the Four Season. Breakfast buffet was also really good. We enjoyed our short stay.

Property was clean and the food was good. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

There was a wedding on the first night of our stay and unfortunately the music could be heard clearly in our room resulting in not getting any sleep until it stopped around 1:30am. This was disappointing. Also the beds in the room could have been a bit bigger.
