Excellent stay, nice and friendly hosts, good breakfast and flexible breakfast times, super comfortable bed, quiet room and with a nice view (mine overlooked the backyard; rooms overlooking the front may be somewhat noisy), comfortable shower, plenty of sockets, good lighting, quiet building in general (soundproof windows, non-slamming doors), location at 5' walk from downtown. Kettle/tea/coffee/biscuits in the room. Enough space for placing your things or hanging your clothes. Overal l had a great rest and a very pleasant stay.

The table can't actually be used as a desktop: too little, oddly placed and the chair does not fit in. So, no good for writing; and for working with the laptop you have to sit in the bed. The sink is really small. Although this property is located near downtown, the walk is not particularly nice, along a noisy road. (That's not the B&B's fault, but I deem it worth mentioning.)

Just checked out from an overnight stay in The Meadows Bed & Breakfast. We were attending a wedding in the Hillgrove Hotel, and the location was brilliant. It is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet stay, and a great cooked breakfast. The owners were very friendly during check-in and at breakfast. Check-in was quick and easy, allowing us to get back to the wedding promptly. Breakfast cooked for us at 730, allowing us to have breakfast before heading back to Belfast to work. Thank you so much to the owners! Highly recommend.

Wow, what a place. This is a spontaneous review, no request was made. Start by saying that Martin is a gentleman who really cares about tiny details. The place is impeccably clean and organized. There's privacy and everything you'll need without needing to ask. The location is just beautiful with a lovely view to nature and hills and in the front, a lovely church. Breakfast was also delicious, served on time by Martin himself. Overall, amazing hospitality. You'll feel like home with a warm and personal service that feels more like a family house than actually an accommodation.

The hosts were absolutely lovely and provided us dining options in town and tips on what to see. The room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was available just out front. The location to town was perfect. Breakfast was offered early which was appreciated as we are early risers. We absolutely recommend this B&B!

While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were rather thin and perhaps due for an upgrade.

The room is clean, the sightseeing outside is very beautiful especially during sunset and raining, here also provides the most delicious breakfast that I had tried during the whole trip in several countries. And the most important thing is that the landlord is really nice!!! if we go to Monaghan again, we will still book this hotel!

I liked this B&B because it was very clean, had a welcoming atmosphere, and the hosts were genuinely friendly. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious, and the location was convenient for exploring Monaghan. Overall, it felt like a home away from home.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like. I loved every single bit of it.

I fell ill and the owners really looked after me.😅 They arranged medical care. They could not have been better. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast was adaptable from a full Irish to a glass of water. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Meadows again. I had a good sized double room on the ground floor just off the entrance hall. It had an elevated outlook over trees and fields, yet was a short walk into the centre of the town.

There was nothing to dislike.

Highly recommend this beautiful B and B. The room was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. The owners were so welcoming and lovely, and even dropped us back to the coach station when we left. The irish breakfast was fantastic with plenty of everything and tasted great. Ideally located with a short walk into town. Thank you for your true irish hospitality we will definately be back.

The Meadows was a very nice house. I was warmly welcomed by the host. I was given room number 1. It was very bright and it had good facilities. The room was clean and the bathroom was very clean. The heating was on and the room was warm in the morning also. There were toiletries supplied for the shower. The breakfast the next morning was a nice Ulster fry, complete with delicious potato bread. Great service and nothing was too much trouble for the host. Thank you. Enjoyed my stay.

Very good value, quiet, comfortable bed, good shower and tasty cooked breakfast. Short walk to town and across the road to very impressive Cathedral. Short walk to Ulster Canal walk and cycle way.

Room 3 downstairs a little snug for extended stay and little noisy beside the front door. But other than that all good.
