The room was extremely spacious! Enough for a family. It also had a 180 degree view of the beach. The breakfast and dinner were amazing! I loved the granola and the seaweed sausage. I love to try new things. Also nice off-street parking for your car.

There wasn't a fridge in the room nor a safe. The milk came in little containers so no fresh milk option in your fridge. I am sure with the weather it is probably not much of a requirement during the cooler months. I was concerned about the lack of security box but nothing was taken during our visit.

We loooove this place to stay when we go surfing or sup-surfing out West! The best location with incredible views and such a short distance to the water. Makes us so happy to just be this close to the water, that the weather doesn’t even matter. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and we simply love how you can feel that it’s a proper family-run and personable business. The food is great, and in the winter, there’s such a gorgeous atmosphere in the lounge with candles everywhere and the fireplace going etc. plus it smells amazing!

The bedroom was plain but looked out on the sea. We couldn't have been happier staying there. The staff and the restaurant were truly superb. And I'm saying this as someone that can be rather critical. Those people were all about hospitality to Nth degree.

I suppose the room could've had much better interior design. They should invite me back to do some decorating. :-) I didn't like how little they charged us for so lavish a visit. I think we should've paid more!

Excellent sized room, bigger than usual, with a superb view of the bay. An excellent comfortable bed, really good quality furniture in the room. Martina and her staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided plenty of choice and was beautifully cooked to order….every day

One or two minor niggles: a cracked bathroom floor tile needs to be replaced, window fittings (hinges , locks, and seals) need to be refurbished.

Staff were great, room was lovely with an amazing view, dinner and breakfast were nice also. Made to feel welcome right away. Pulling open the curtains in the morning for that amazing sea/beach view to hit your eyes was such a treat.

The lack of in-room entertainment. The TV was a small PC monitor-like screen, with a lack of smart TV features like Netflix. It would have been nice after a long day exploring to come back and watch a movie with my partner. However, this is my only complaint.

Booked because I got an unbelievably cheap price, too good to be true. Found it, didn't book but rechecked later and price still up so I booked, got a confirmation email, 3 days later agreed price was deducted from my credit card and 2 days after that I got an email saying it was a mistake and quoting a new price, which I accepted because it was still reasonable. Not sure who made the original mistake but the original price, confirmed and paid, in my view should have been honoured. At least that is the way I have always done business even if it meant losing money on a particular transaction.

We stayed two nights in this lovely family run hotel. The staff could not be more accomadating. We were welcomed by the owner Martina who could not be more helpful. To tell you the truth all the staff we encountered were so nice friendly and helpful. We ate the first night in the restaurant and the food was really good. We had breakfast on both mornings and it was really good too thanks to the chefs who were on duty. The hotel is situated adjacent to the beach and we had wonderful views of it from our room and in the restaurant. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are ever in Enniscrone. Also a visit to the local seaweed bath house is a must!

To say the Waterfront is exceptional, sells it short. From the moment we arrived to the time of departure, our experience was one of total satisfaction. Monica in reception was so warm, charming, welcoming and friendly who gave a very genuine Cead Mile Failte. Our rooms were overlooking Enniscrone Beach. The views superb and the relaxing values of hearing the sea lapping was tenfold. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant at night. The staff again, so attentive and welcoming. Not intrusive, yet the ability to engage with their clientele and ensure all we’re happy with their meal. The food in the restaurant both evening and breakfast was superb. A nice variety of food, something for everyone and everything cooked to perfection. Credit to their chef and kitchen staff for food that was not in any way pretentious but food that was cooked by someone who understands the importance of seasoning, presentation and cooking correctly. The hotel is a quaint boutique hotel, which is old style, so welcoming and oozes warmth both in character and staff. It is strategically well placed on the sea front. We cannot endorse it enough but hope in our recommendations that others will book it and enjoy this beautiful gem. To the team who work in the Waterfront, thank you sincerely for one of the most welcoming stays we have had in Ireland. We will return.

There is nothing to not like about this property. They have “got it right”

No issues - just to mention that it is a boutique style hotel, so it doesn't have leisure facilities - but this wasn't an issue or expectation for us

Outstanding view from our room. It was pure bliss watching the ocean. A lovely big room with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing especially the Guinness/seaweed bread. Staff all so lovely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in need of a renovation/update but the rooms are nice and clean plus the views and location are worth the visit.
