What a gem at Spanish Point .. very good value for money ,food was fantastic, staff were professional friendly and v helpful, everyone seemed to be in a good mood, nice atmosphere ,Breakfast was yum, chefs were very nice as well ,a proper Irish guest house location could not be better, there's actually a better view from this guest house than Armada hotel (which is twice the price !!) Will absolutely visit again and would highly recommend staying here . Thank you v much

What did I like…the STAFF! I have to be honest, there were a couple things awkward about the stay, but out of the ten places I stayed on my vacation this was my favorite. It was a bit quirky but charming. But the staff was the best. I was running late for check in and they called me to see if all was okay. I was leaving early and at multiple times they insisted on packing me a breakfast/lunch to go since I would not be there for lunch last day. On multiple encounters with different people they insisted they make me something.

Our shower didn’t drain well. But I was able to rinse my feet exiting shower. Just a quirky fond memory of a wonderful stay.

The staff there was just terrific. We had to leave a little early on our departure date and they were happy to lay out a breakfast for us so we wouldn't have to travel hungry. The room(2) was huge! Well equipped and super comfortable. The bathrooms were a little on the small side, but there was lots of pressure in the shower and loads of hot water. The lodge is literally across the street from the main beach. The views are just amazing. There is a really nice cafe attached to the lodge and the pizza there was as good as we have had while on this side of the pond.

Honestly for the value we got....there isn't a single thing to complain about.

Everything was better than we could have hoped for. Super clean suite, amazing facilities, and a wonderful view of the ocean! The one thing that really stood out was the staff! From the moment we arrived, they could not have done more for us. So responsive and polite, with great local knowledge. Pizza and a few bites were delivered to the suite, cos the mammy had to watch the Rose of Tralee (on the widescreen TV in the suite). A great time, and a truly great stay!! Thanks again

The breakfast was superb with multiple options to choose from and service was fast too. The location couldn’t have been any better with sea beach right infront of the property. We were lucky enough to get the seaview room where we could see the sea right from our bed.

The only small thing was that kettle was not so clean maybe that could have been improved

A beautiful location opposite the beach where we took a dip on arrival as we were after cycling The West Clare Challenge that morning & arrived in our cycling gear! Noleen couldn't be friendlier and was very helpful in getting us settled into a very spacious Suite 1. We hadn't booked our evening meal but we took a chance on the restaurants Cod & Chips with salad and it was delicious 😋 which we ate in the suite as the waitress brought it straight out to us within 20mins of ordering and was piping hot still. Once our windows were closed for the night we didn't hear anything until morning. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite shower was very good. Shower & hair gel and towels were provided. There was a welcome bottle of water on arrival, milk in the fridge, we brought our own teabags.

Nothing to dislike. We couldn't access TV channels only a music channel which was fine as we're not into watching much TV.

Stunning sea and sunset views overlooking Spanish Point Beach. Lots of seating out front to enjoy the view. Children enjoyed the toys and space out front to play. Food and beverages served until 9pm. Accommodation spacious and very tastefully decorated and well maintained. Lovely friendly barman. Beautiful breakfast. Will definitely return.

Some of the waiting staff could improve on their people skills and be more pleasant to customers. A smile goes a long way. They seemed under pressure and really showed it. Maybe more serving staff required when busy in evenings. It would be a nice extra if complimentary tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate and biscuits were provided in the lodge.

The bed was comfortable, it was clean, rooms were spacious, the young lady serving breakfast was lovely and breakfast was served fast, view from room 4 was beautiful

The room was a little on the cold side but once I figured out the heating in the room it was fine

We had the pleasure of an entire apartment during our stay with a wide array of facilities that made our time here convenient as it was comfortable. Hats off as well to the wonderful pizzas and breakfasts on offer! And at such a generous cost for our two days stay within the little slice of natural wonder that is Spanish Point, we really couldn't have done better than Coast Lodge.

Beautiful location looking out to the sea. Beautiful rooms. Big couches. Very comfortable bed. Spotless. Great shower. Loads of free parking. Great value. Lovely gluten free breakfast for me. Restaurant there if you need it, and takeaway and bar!! Lovely outside seating and sun was shining. Stayed around with delicious coffees. Gorgeous staff. Would highly recommend!!
