Great location beautiful breakfast great choice every morning, we stayed 3 nights over a weekend to celebrate a family wedding, friendly helpful staff, evening meals very expensive, especially deserts priced at €10.00 also a vodka and sparkling water over €10.00 also. We had a fridge in our room which was a good bonus. Fresh milk provided by hotel every day for tea facilities in room which was a nice touch.

Very expensive for a weekend stay, family of 3, food and drinks very expensive, deserts priced at €10 is way too much especially and a sparkling water and a vodka over €10 also.

Everything was magical. Nice little touches that other hotels fail to think of (especially for kids). Beautiful location and we were spoilt with the gorgeous weather. The family room was perfect and with a nice temperature. I want the bathroom in my house. Gorgeous interiors. Breakfast was lovely in the restaurant with the gorgeous view of Spanish Point. Everything was hot which is what you want in a buffet. Thank you for my little birthday cheesecake in the room - delicious!

The Ocean restaurant was lovely and we did have a tasty meal but they gave us chilli peppers with our padron peppers. If they didn't have enough to serve then they shouldn't have served it to us. Unfortunately my husband but into a green chilli unbeknownst to him and his mouth was on fire. I have two young kids so if this had happened to them, it could have been dangerous. We did complain and the waitress was very unapologetic and took it off the bill. I was very surprised that a restaurant of this calibre would have let this happen in the first place. Apart from that, it is a gem and we shall return to the hotel one day soon.

The location was amazing - it is right on the coast and we could see the sea from our room. Was hoping for a sunset, but the weather didn't cooperate (can't book the weather). There are three restaurants onsite, the pub menu was a little limited, but we really enjoyed the Ocean Bar & Bistro. Aileens was fantastic - best meal we had in Ireland. It is so obvious that everything is made onsite, even the bread. The room was spacious and clean, plenty of room for two women plus luggage. Beds were very comfortable. Would love to stay here again. Staff were all friendly and helpful - very accommodating for my asthma - no issues with cleaning chemicals or fragrances, for which I was extremely grateful. Go to breakfast early if you want a seat by the window.

We loved the hotel and the atmosphere surrounding it. Staff were superb. Food and drinks spot on. Had to park a bit away as their was a wedding which may be a problem for older people! Clean your windows often as the views were fabulous..... Many thanks and well done on a such a gorgeous hotel. See you soon. Paul Murphy

One little thing. In our room is a fitting in the ceiling with a gaping hole beside it. Fill it in and touch it up with paint as its a little unsightly. It didn't spoil the views..... A little milk in the room for coffee! Evening drink of Coole Swan was a lovely touch.

Location was fantastic, breakfast was amazing & all the staff were so friendly & helpful & they were very busy as the Willie Clancy music festival was on. There is fish & chips available in an outside trailer @ €16.50, expensive🤦

The bedroom was small, had nice touches in it, robes, slippers fruit but the bedroom was very congested. The tray with the kettle etc had to be in da wardrobe. The ironing board was up against the corner of the room. Our stay was way too expensive

Food was excellent; 5 star resort quality. Absolutly beautiful location among the natural beauty of land and sea. It is hard to top the sound of crashing waves and soaring seagulls, and this property only enhances the wonderful feeling one gets when proximate to the sea.

Hard to think of anything negative; this is a world class facility on an absolutely stunning location next to the ocean. Certainly among the best which Western Ireland has to offer. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Beautiful setting. Clean, modern hotel. Relaxed atmosphere, all staff were very friendly. Comfortable bedroom, lovely rain shower. Filtered water available on our room floor. Window dining tables for dinner & breakfast. Could enjoy a beach walk after breakfast. Admire their developing eco ethos! Nice touch in the welcome pack, make sure you read it to find the 'surprise'. 😊

No bath in our ensuite. The fridge was very noisy so had to switch it off to sleep at night. The tea/coffee/drinks tray in room was basic & limited. No divided/recycling bin in room. Annoying hairdryer that you have to continually press a button to operate.

Amazing! The folks at at the Armada are the absolute best. Starting with Gosia at the front desk reception, and continuing on to the managers and staff in the hotel, restaurant and pub…everyone was wonderful. Our room was perfect. Comfortable, super clean and with an amazing view of the ocean. Can’t write enough good things about the Armada. This is the place to stay when looking for accommodations in the area. It may seem a little expensive - but it is well, well worth it. Mike & Mary

Very comfortable hotel. The room was cold when we got there but one phone call to reception and it was sorted. Bar men were so nice in pub attached to the hotel. They make a lovely Irish coffee ☕️ 😋. Food in bistro was fab, and breakfast was exceptional.

We had booked Bistro for 8, and when we arrived, no table was free, so we were told by the manager they would come to bar in 10 minutes for us 25 minutes later, no sign of anyone. We went back and he just ignored us someone else lead to a table in another restaurant but we didn't like it there was abit cold and dark..we then complained and we got a table where we wanted to be in 5 minutes..Cillian and John were so nice and apologied on a number of occasions. The manager of the bistro did not come near us to apologize, which I thought was quite rude.

This is an outstanding hotel. A gem that we found by chance and I’m so happy we did. This place is really something special. It’s beautifully and tastefully designed with such attention to detail. What stands out most are the amazing team who work tirelessly to make sure guests have an unforgettable experience. Bernard gave us the most wonderful shore walk which enriched our family’s experience so much. Katy taught the most wonderful complimentary yoga class which will stay with me. Lorraine was so lovely to our Daughter in the play area outside our family room. This hotel is such a find, do not hesitate to book. Exceptional. We will be back.
