My stay at the Cliffs of Moher Hotel in Liscannor was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly, welcoming staff who made sure we felt right at home. The family room was spacious and exceptionally clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing space for the whole family. The hotel’s location in Liscannor is perfect – the small town offers a peaceful and picturesque setting, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. It's also conveniently close to the Cliffs of Moher, making it an ideal base for exploring this iconic part of Ireland. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always ready to help with any request, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re in town for sightseeing or just looking for a cozy getaway, this hotel offers everything you need for a pleasant and memorable stay. Highly recommend this gem in Liscannor – it’s a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and beauty!

As I arrived at my room with my case, a lady came out of the adjacent room, saw I was just arriving and said the room was amazing and she was very impressed! She wasn't wrong, the room was huge, as was the bed. The bathroom was beautiful, massive walk in shower, floor and mirror lighting. with plenty of towels and face cloths. There was a big TV, with good selection of channels, and a very comfortable armchair and matching stool to rest walk weary legs. After a long day of driving and sightseeing, it was lovely to be able to relax in comfort for the evening rather than sit on the bed. As a top floor room I also had a sea view balcony and had the door open for a couple of hours before the rain came, that would be a real plus on warm summer evenings. The booking was made on a room only basis. I received an email to say "Rooms are booked on a room only basis and we do not serve breakfast, but we do offer complimentary coffee and pastries each morning from 7.30am". They are really selling themselves short here. I was expecting to collect a takeaway coffee and pastry to eat in my room. The reality was so much better, they do serve breakfast, just not a cooked breakfast or massive choice. It was also not in reception but in the airy hotel bar. I was offered tea or coffee, which was bought on a tray with a pot of tea. I had a choice of cereals, fruit, pastries, plus toast was available fresh to order brought to the table with a choice of jams and marmalade. I enjoyed a lovely light breakfast in a lovely environment, a real fire burning at the other end of the room. The whole hotel was inviting, from the library style reception, the greeting host, lady serving breakfast, and the rooms. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area, and recommend to friends.

There was really nothing I didn't like. Just one suggestion, there is Nespresso machine in the room with a well stocked selection of tea and coffee, just no instructions how to use it.

The hotel was amazing. They have very interesting decor with books all over the hotel, and beautiful artwork. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was absolutely divine. The breakfast was lovely, small selection but it was fresh and delicious. The lady who was serving the breakfast was so kind and helpful. She was such a sweet woman. Vaughans nextdoor was suggested for food and it was delicious! Well worth the trip.

The pillows and hairdryer could be upgraded but for the price, cleanliness, facilities, how nice the staff were and the location, it definitely wouldn't put me off going back!

The hotel had a theme of irish literature. The reception was a giant table with books. There were stacks of books everywhere. The hotel has such a chilled vibe. The bed was extremely comfortable. The complementary breakfast was lovely, a barista latte and a croissant - perfect! The staff were lovely also.

The room was warm. A lighter summer blanket would be nice. The hotel doesn’t serve food, except a free continental breakfast. That being said we really appreciated the laid back atmosphere and the decor and Kavanagh poems book in our bedroom.

- King beds - Plenty of toiletries, good showers - Kind staff - Windows opened - Free parking - Restaurants/Pubs Vaughans, Egans, McHugh's right next door - Lahinch is right down the road (beach, P Frawley's Bar, Hugo's Bakery) - 8-10 minute drive up to the south part of the Cliffs of Moher, much less touristy

- Very small town, but that's what you get in Western Ireland! - ~20-25 minute drive to Doolin if you're using the Ferry or going to the main Cliffs of Moher site

A sophisticated modern hotel. Lovely decor. Including art work. Conveniently located for travelling and sightseeing. Free parking. Warm welcome. Helpful, friendly and courteous staff. Spacious room. Spotlessly clean. Nice organic toietries. Complimentary drinks or arrival and nice water and coffee maker in the room. Complimentary of juice, cereal, fruit salad, yogurt, croissants, toast and coffee. There is a bar with traditional music some evenings. There is no restaurant but a few eating places nearly. We had delicious fresh fish and chips from a Fish Shack in the car park which we ate in the bar. The hotel whilst being modern has a relaxed feel about it allowing you to have a relaxed stay. Would highly recommend.

Nothing but next time I would upgrade to a room with a balcony.

Beautiful and cosy place with a great welcome drink. Live music and real fireplace in the restaurant (too bad they do not serve food there, just drinks and small snacks). Huge beds, very comfortable. Quiet street. Close to cliffs. They say they do not serve breakfast but what they offer in the morning is simple, tasty and enough for a breakfast. Very friendly and helpful personnel. A very good (and pricy) restaurant is right next door (reservation is recommended). A bit further along the street you can find other places to eat. Not much to see in the town but a good location if you've come to explore the cliffs.

Our host was excellent, great welcome ,lovely accommodation very clean modern but old style comfortable. We loved it. My children of 12 and 18 also enjoyed it felt it very family friendly. We had local music in the bar while playing cards have a drink and the chats. While there is no hot breakfast there was plenty to eat for breakfast. The tea is just like being at home in Tipp. Our host was so friendly as we're all the staff. We got loads of local information which we found brilliant as we would have missed out if we had not asked.

Our room was beautiful and clean but was so hot as it was over the stove downstairs. But they had a fan in the room to help. We were just lucky we had some really good weather so not a complaint..

Special thanks for magic evening near the fireplace with live music. We were singing together and also special thanks for playing for us Whiskey in a Jar Metallica! Also we would like to recommend super tasty food prepared by Natasha The lobster was fantastic. We will have all of you in our best memories. We will be back and we can highly recommend Cliffs Of Moher in Liscannor County Clare. Dor and Kris

The hotel has a good location, 1 hour walk from the Cliffs of Moher. There is a bus from Ennis, so getting to the hotel without a car is not a problem. The bus stop is right next to the hotel. The workers are very nice, the administrator advised us an interesting route to see as many beautiful places as possible. The room itself is well equipped, with a nice view. Since we were not in the peak tourist season, breakfast consisted of croissants, toast, jam, tea and coffee. That was very nice of the hotel!

Everything was nice. The door to the balcony did not lock in our room, but it wasn`t a problem.
