The staff were wonderful, pleasant, helpful, and patient. The room and restroom were nice and clean. Thoughtfully, the ac and light were on. It's practical and affordable And there's cafés (also a kosher one) nearby. And it's close to the central bus station.

Well, there's no view from the bedroom, but I was expecting that because I'd seen it on reviews before I booked. Therefore, it's important for those interested to know, that from the actual room there isn't any windows to look out from (besides for a narrow window above the door for the option of having air circulation), therefore the light mainly comes from the electric lights one can switch on in the room. But if one's need for a room is for resting and sleeping, it's perfect. Plus there are views from the open corridors outside of the rooms

This was a great hotel stay for the price point. It was quite clean, the beds were comfy and the shower hot. There are a lot of outdoor sitting areas to have coffee or work, and there's a cute patio downstairs to smoke or sit. The hotel is basic, the room had a bed, a big TV, a closet area, a fridge, a desk and two chairs. It wasn't a huge room, but for a short solo trip, you don't need much. I loved the free coffee machine in the lobby, and it was nice that there were vending machines in case you needed a snack or a drink other than the provided coffee or water. There was an area to store luggage after checkout as well. The hotel is close to the central bus station (like a 5 minute walk) and about. 20 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk area. There are malls nearby as well, bakeries and cafes, and it's a central location within Eilat. The AC was great, and all was good! The hotel was really good for the value!

It didn't bother me, but the window is basically non existent. There is just a small sliver of window above the door. You could open and close it automatically with a switch, which was nice. I like sleeping in the dark, so that was good, and I wasn't in the room hanging out. There was space to bring your chair outside and sit on one of the many balconies if needed.

We loved the fact that our room was on the highest floor next to the balcony. The free coffee machine in the lobby is appreciable. The place is clean and cosy and the fact that the hotel does not contain a huge amount of rooms, makes this place feel comfortable.

The bed is ok, the bathroom toilet is too close to the wall, which makes it almost impossible to use. The place doesn't have its own parking spots. The parking is based on free space on the street.

The location is very convenient. There are stores and restaurants nearby, including a bakery/grocery which is open 24/7. Bus stops are close. The room was clean, comfortable, and attractive, and the price was very reasonable. There was no problem with noise. I arrived before check in time, but I was able to wait comfortably in the lobby and drink cappuccino coffee from the machine until a room became available. I really appreciated that. The hotel met and exceeded my needs.

If you are reading this review then you know that this is a cheap hotel. No pool, no gym, and instead of a 2 minute walk to the beach you have a 10 minute walk to the beach. No frills. NOTE about location - yeah, this is not in the 'touristy' part of Eilat. But there are multiple excellent inexpensive eateries VERY close by filled with Eilat locals who KNOW good food and good value. Yum.... As for cheap hotels, this is one of the BEST. Why? It is NEW and it is extremely CLEAN. I would MUCH rather have a 100% clean room with NO frills, than even a SLIGHTLY dirty and/or 'old-feeling' room - yuck. I stayed a FULL week and I STILL liked it. I am not writing "good only for one night" - this was great for a FULL week. Whenever you go to a cheap hotel, there is a RISK. I report that there is NO DOWNSIDE of staying in the Sahara. I hereby give you PERMISSION to SAVE your money, sleep in an extremely clean [and new and/or recently renovated room] I would stay here again WITHOUT hesitation. NOTE - I also enjoy (and have the funds for) expensive hotels with amenities, but sometimes I enjoy saving my money even more. For this vacation, I skipped the hotel-gym and bought a one-week membership [for NIS 100] in "Fitness Facilities center Eilat" - great gym 8 minute walk. I skipped the hotel-pool and swam in the amazing Red Sea.

Nothing. Everything was EITHER as expected OR better than excepted. Not ONE spec of dirt. I am the kind of fellow that even ONE spec of dirt would make my very angry. Well, it was 100% clean. No breakfast, no pool, no gym but CLEAN. That's VALUE.

Interior design of the hotel is modern and beautiful. VERY CLEAN! staff is kind, and location is good, with bus stops and cafes near by. A cupon for breakfast is a great idea- and Stephanie's local cafe is a cozy & delicious place.

Bathroom lacking proper ventilation & drainage system. Not critical for short stays really. The coffee beans at the coffe & tea area are pretty sour. Maybe coffee with a more gentle taste to it could be better !

Clearly recently refurbished. Everything felt very new and clean. Bed was soft and cozy. It's a small enough facility that we didn't feel like we were with all of Am Yisrael and their screaming children. Also loved the coffee machine in the lobby.

The rooms were a bit small, but honestly that didn't matter much to us. For me, the cleanliness and cozy feel of the place far outweighed the size of the room.

This is a full renovated hotel. The facilities are very nice. The room is quite small, but has everything you need, tv with all the channels very comfortable beds, and relatively spacious bathroom . Everything is is very clean. I think there’s a great value for money in this hotel.

There aren’t any facilities like pool Jacuzzi breakfast and so on so if you’re looking for those kind of things, this is not the hotel for you

Very friendly staff. We arrived early and they stored our luggage until check in. They don't offer breakfast but have a deal with a cafe near them for some breakfast at a set price. The reception sell coupons but we did not avail of this. The hotel location is approx 20mins or so away from the main boulevard and the street itself is very run down. However, the hotel itself is nice and the rooms are clean with a fridge and some complimentary bottles of water. The air con works perfectly and rooms have a large tv though we didn't use ours during our stay. We liked it and would happily stay again.

The bathroom is quite small, especially the shower and it is hard not to wet the whole floor when showering. The only window in the bedroom is a small horizontal window above the door so it may be slightly claustrophobic if you were staying for a long time.

First to greet us was a super friendly Maya at the front desk. My friend and I arrived 3 hours earlier than the check-in time and Maya tried her best to accommodate us. She gave useful advice which helped a lot. Any issue or problem brought to her attention was immediately addressed pleasantly. The cleaning lady was excellent as well. The room was comparatively low cost, clean, convenient and comfortable. I highly recommend Sahara Hotel. 👌

We loved our stay. There was nothing to dislike.
