The vacation was short but really good. The first day we arrived there was a lady at the reception who was the only rude staff but after her the other guy really helped us check in quickly. Everyone was very helpful, we asked the room clean on a proper time and it was done. Our daughter lost her pacifier and they found it. The room was enough big for us with a nice balcony. The breakfast was good, could be more gluten free options thoug.

There are couple things need to pay attention, at the balcony there was a small step which caused our kid and us to fall maybe a dark color plaster could make it more visible. They are making nice activities which is amazing however it can be noisy for the kids to sleep luckily they can be too tired and wont care it. The location is great however if you have stroller then its a bit complicated you will need the car and parking can be difficult to find after 7-8 It would be really helpful if there was a small sit for the kids to reach the tap to wash their hands we used the garbage box.

It has been one of my favourite hostels.. First it was close to the bus station and easy to find with its characteristic exterior. I loved the art work inside with mini pep talks. Staff were great for the most part, thumbs up to new member Ezzie with whom I had some enlightening conversations. The kitchen was great. Breakfast was delightful with heaps of choices, the cook even gave me some raw eggs to make pancakes for lunch. The dorms were great, a good size, clean, a locker under the beds and an amazing view of the city, Jordanian Highlands and Al'Aqabah from the little balcony.

One staff member threw out my freshly bought fridge food coz she didn't see my name written on it; I didn't know there were stickers for the job. One of my roommates, I suppose, wrenched off a padlock I had on my backpack when I wasn't there, though nothing was stolen. Hostel staff gave me a new padlock for free. But don't leave your passport or shekels in the dorm rooms. The kitchen could use some more cooking utensils and larger soup/cereal bowls, and I was disappointed the pool was closed as the weather was quite warm, despite it being December. I was in summer tops every day.

the breakfast was basic but good, there were many other families there at the time so the atmosphere was nice for us. we also enjoyed the pingpong and pool tables. Beds were really comfy and overall it was what we needed but its NOT a hotel- no desk in the room. the vibe is very much "do everything in teh common area and go to your room just to sleep" but that was fine for us. i dont even think we had a tv, but again, it was fine.

if the room had been bigger it would have helped, having 4 people with not much space to move around in teh room itself.

The hostel is great, clean and wonderful position.

Unfortunately Tomer the staff at the desk was rude and unpleasant. When asked if check out after Sabbath was optional with additional payment he rudely told me Abraham Hostels don't cater and target religious audiences. During check in we waited 40 minutes while he had ongoing conversation with a group checking in. They were joking about sexual harassment issues, reccomended bars, where to meet hot girls ect...all while my young daughter and I were waiting patiently. When I politely implied that we are waiting close to 40 minutes and perhaps they could chat later he snapped at me and told to wait my turn. Our check in took 5 min. SUGGESTION TO TRAIN STAFF NOT BEHAVE LIKE 16 YEAR OLDS AT A PUB. YOUNG ATMOSPHERE DOESNT EQUAL CHEEKY AND VULGAR.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Abraham Hostel and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service, particularly from one of the front desk employees, Michael. From the moment we arrived, Michael was incredibly friendly and attentive. He went out of his way to assist with any requests my son and I had, always with a warm smile and a positive attitude. His dedication and helpful nature truly enhanced our experience and left a lasting positive impression of the hostel. Thank you, Michael, for making our stay so enjoyable.

You can improve the breakfast.

Me and my friend stayed for 8 days. Everything was wonderful. Big hostel - 5 floors, clean rooms, a lot of sitting and chilling areas and even a swimming pool and a bar. The staff are all very kind and patient and the prices are good. The location is one short bus ride from every main attraction. Overall the vibe of the place is very friendly and positive.

The breakfast is quite plain and not so varied. There was a night when the intire place was full of school kids and it was very loud. The shower doesn't have a window

Good public space such as the pool, breakfast area, and the gigantic mechanical metal ray hanging from the ceiling that automatically made swimming movements at every hour. Staff were very friendly and any request was addressed immediately.

The family room was rather small considering the price. The public space was roomy, but would suggest making best use of the space by providing neat seat and sofas that invite people to sit around, considering that rooms are small.

Good and safe atmosphere for a female solo traveler! Clean, tidy, big lounge, its got kitchen as well, the pool and thr atmosphere at the pool, and most importantly the staff and how considerate they are, Misha at the reception saw that i prefer a room with females only and he made sure i get that! Also helped with routes and how to get from there to my destination considering maps nor waze are working these days, got activities such as karaoke etc

Breakfast - although I don’t know if we were just lucky as there was a volleyball team there that seemed to get special food. Bar staff gave nice recommendations for snorkelling.

They don't take personal data and credit card information security seriously! They had a security breach and I got a ton of phishing emails - that asked for my credit card number. It seemed this was nothing unusual for this hostel as nobody at the reception mentioned anything! I remember noticing phishing email, and do not remember giving my credit card info. And yet there's an extra charge on my credit card to Abraham Hostel Eilat for 220€! Update: The hostel responded very kindly and apologised for the security breach. We are refunded for our stay and I reported the extra charge as a online phishing scam to my credit card company. I updated the rating to reflect their response.

The stay was amazing! Was expecting an hostel style stay, and got high quality 3-4 start hotel stay. The breakfast is full of options from cornflakes, salads, pasta, tuna salad, variety of cheese and various types of breads. The pool is partially covered which was important during the summer time, The location is 10 minutes walk from the main promenade and main restaurants. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a parking lot which happens to be available during the day right next to the hostel for free. In conclusion, i'm glad i was able to save $ and have a decent stay in Eilat and didn't have to break the bank for the same type of activities (Which was mainly going out to eat, some pool time and beaches).

There is nothing much to dislike in my opinion. The pool probably should be available for more hours, but also maybe not (if you want the kids to leave).
