Breakfast and dinner were great. Staff was exceptional! I've been coming to the Sea of Galilee for over 50 years and this is the best hotel yet!

The staff were brilliant, food was great, my wife would go back in a heartbeat. The location was ideal.

The location was lovely - right on the shore, with picnic tables set in the grounds outside. Lots of trees and shade. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was in good working order.

Only two problems. Breakfast was 100 shekels extra - it usually goes with the price of the room in other places. So we opted to do our own simple breakfast. Also someone set our refrigerator way too low, and both my boiled eggs for breakfast and my yoghrt were frozen.

This is our 5th Holy Land Tour, this time with a small group of Australian Senior Pastors. They especially appreciated the location of the hotel right on the shores of The Galilee, and out of the city of Tiberius making for a quiet and serene stay. While the rooms are not large they are more than adequate, with good en-suites, all clean and tidy. The views from the upstairs pavilion and the hotel gardens across the lake are just beautiful. The large choice at the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and caters for all tastes and dietary needs. The dinner buffet in the evening was larger still. Full marks to the catering staff for an outstanding job. All the staff that we had contact with were very helpful and courteous. After a 3 night stay at the Ohalo our small group departed, but my wife and I had booked for an extra 3 nights, and we are very glad we did. All in all our 6 night stay at the Ohalo Manor Hotel was wonderful. Very recommended!!!

Good selection at dinner. Nice location. They have an agreement with a 10 min drive swimming pool, which is very good. Nice helpful stuff. Good value for money.

Only hard-boiled eggs at breakfast.

Not really. We had to take a shower after checkout. Did not manage to provide a simple solution. We had to drive to a swimming pool or pay 100 dollars. Was expecting something easier.

Garden rooms were comfortable and spacious. Great food and amazing views from dining area. Staff were very helpful. There is access to a lovely walking path on the shore of the kinneret which leads both to the yarden beach campsite (with access to the water but no lifeguards) and the kinneret cemetery where famous poets authors and leaders are buried e.g. רחל.

There is no swimming pool but we knew this in advance

They have wonderful breakfast. The rooms are clean and the hotel is great.

It is not so comfortable for transportation.

the access to the beach near our room was a locked gate. The small beach could be beautiful if it wasn't full of garbage.

The location was ideal. We insisted friends in kibbutz Degania Bet and it was very close. The room was large and we had a lovely patio and were able to go out and have a fantastic view of Lake Kinneret. Breath taking. Our beds were made by the staff and they did a wonderful job of straightening and cleaning. We had one breakfast while there and it was tasty and there was plenty to chose from. All the staff from checking in to having breakfast to cleaning the room to checking out were always welcoming and courteous and went out of their way to be helpful when needed. The grounds were well maintained and we could walk around and enjoy the grounds and Lake Kinneret with the Golan Heights in the background. I can only say positive things about my experience there.

I actually found it perfect and couldn’t ask for more.
