We arrived Oct 7, a few hours after the attacks. The staff was very kind, during this difficult time. They always were willing to help us out and give us advice on how to stay safe. This includes making sure we made it into the safe space during attacks. Our original plan was to only stay 2 nights, but because of the situation we were able to extend our stay until we were able to leave. The staff was there to give us tips on how to get to the airport in the middle of the night and how to navigate the city. We saw how much care the staff put into taking care of the place. Constantly cleaning and maintaining things. Super place with a wonderful balcony.

I don't care for the war.

Staff who is running the place, i.e. those at the reception, are exceptional. They did all they could to help and give support anytime someone had a question or an issue...I couldn't recommend them more. Location of the hostel is also outstanding: right in front of the beach and within walking distance to many significant places in Tel Aviv...plus taxis are always there at the bottom of the building (the hotel is at 4th floor of an otherwise anonymous skyscraper) to take you wherever you want (but pay attention because they don't use meter even though they ought to and they overcharge tourist). Bus number 54 stops in front of the hotel and is supposed to take you to the central bus station, but the only time I tried to catch it, it didn't stop, so I cannot help here. The capsule (I used the single one with the higher ceiling) is very comfortable and very well insulated, mattress spot on - I slept very well; the high capsules also offer more privacy as they are on a hidden side of the building, facing some windows overlooking the main street (some of the lower/smaller ones, instead, face the restrooms: ça va sans dire...). There is a big terrace where you can sit and work with your computer or drink while looking at the beach and at the sunset. There are vending machines working with credit cards & coins and there is even free water at disposal. Showers are spacious and new and after you check-out, there is a luggage deposits for free.

The only down point is that the capsule was not perfectly clean: the glass of the windows was stained and the walls were dusty...dust where present also underneath the mattress where you have some space to place shoes and luggage and also the curtains that you need to pull when you want privacy had some micro stains on it... meaning they just change the bed linen between one use and the other. That was uncomfortable, but I am sure that had I complained to the reception, they would have run to clean the place by themselves. I said nothing because I stayed there for just two nights and just for few hours each....but they should double check this issue. Nevertheless, I would give them a second chance (two, not three ;-) ).

The place was easy going but at the same time it was very well taken care of. First time in a capsule hotel and was not sure what to expect. The capsules were fine, liked the fact that they were private and did not feel like a dorm. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. In front of the beach, walking distance to many places, and beautiful sunsets every day. There were people of all ages and most of them seemed to be confortable. The staff was very accommodating. Great value and choices of capsules.

Maybe they could have a refrigerator to keep food. Sometimes you don’t feel like going out for take out. Just a suggestion.

Comfy beds, learnt how to climb Tarzan style. Helpful (and handsome) staff. You'd think you'll smell everyone's shoes and farts but it actually smelt nice and clean at all time. Terrace is amazing with front sea view. Many clean showers and fancy style. Highly recommended expecially if you athletic enough.

I was smiled at twice in 5 days by the same guy only. So many serious faces 😳the receptionist she looks like between I am about to cry and I am already sad for the coming days but at least just enough helpful. Some training should be provided on how to enter the capsule as I banged my head everyday, every time 😜 air-conditioning little too cold sometimes.

The O Pod Hotel is an excellent choice for solo travelers. I stayed in the tall pod capsule, and despite being 190 cm tall, I found the space comfortable and sufficient. The location is outstanding—just steps away from the beach and within walking distance of the historic Old City of Jaffa. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing fresh towels daily. The shared bathrooms and showers were consistently clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop terrace, which offers a stunning view and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a great experience that I would recommend to any solo traveler visiting the area.

Of course, you can't expect luxury from a capsule hotel, and shared bathrooms always depend on the people you share them with. But I was pleasantly surprised. The capsules are very well equipped and have enough storage space to keep the essentials safe. There are luggage lockers for large luggage. The Wi-Fi was fast enough and available throughout the hotel. I was even able to check in a little earlier because I was faster than expected. The noise level was also very good, you're well insulated. There's a really small supermarket just around the corner. There are also vending machines for food and drinks in the hotel. Another plus point is the location. It's close to the beach and Old Jaffa. A tram stop is 15 minutes away, so you don't necessarily need a taxi or anything similar. Just take a train into the city from the airport, get off at Tel Aviv-Hashalom, and from there take the tram to Elifelet. The rest of the way, you can easily walk. For the price, the service, and the location, it's simply top-notch.

Very comfortable bed. Did not hear anything from my neighbors. Silent and good aircondition in my capsule. Nice guests (most business persons - no groups etc.). Had the bathroom almost for myself. You can sleep as long as you want without beeing distuped! For breakfast I have got a breakfast voucher for an israeli breakfast in the Aroma Café nearby. Therefore I could eat breakfast at every time I wanted. The Capsule Hotel had a very!nice relaxing lounge atmosphere. The staff was very nice and helpful! The hotel is direct at the beach - you only have to decide to walk left to Yafo - or right to the other beaches. Great place and great prize for the stay. I will come again!!!

I loved my stay at O pod Hotel. :) It was perfect for my needs. The location is perfect. Beach front, nice outside sitting area and next to the bus stop. Amazing breakfast downstairs in a nice coffee shop. I highly recommend it. The hotel is clean, easy to get to. The pod is small (like a pod :D), but comfy and has storage space too. It was not too busy when I was there, but I still met a few very nice people. I will book it again on my next stay. ☺️

The receptionist girl couldn't even do my check in. Probably she would need more training.... She said she did my check in, but then I couldn't even get to my pod.... When I extended my stay... It was a bit annoying because I was standing at the reception for a while and she said my bankcards wasn't working... And i just used them before and after too.... 🤦🏼‍♀️😐

the location is absolutely superb, close to the beach, to Jaffa and Neve Tsedek, the old town of Tel Aviv. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and told me how to get to the hotel by public transport. Taking the bus 54 from Hagana is the best option, although I received an email from the hotel to take other buses as well. I am not sure those are good options and it needs to state for each bus where to get off. The bus stop for 54 is Textile Centre/ Kaufmann, which the receptionist had given me. I was also able to check in early, which had been a great help. In,over everything about the hotel.

There is nothing I didn’t like. Maybe the music could just be turned down a bit.

I loved the pod experience and the balcony. I loved the direct USB ports in the pod. I appreciated the night light and the regular light, as well as the air circulation, although in the summers I would think it would not be cold enough.

The entrance to the pods through the door were very hard. I banged my ankle really badly getting in. There should be padding or something. The hotel really needs a refrigerator. It is very important for people on a budget, as well as people with medicine that might need to be refrigerated. The corner of the pods should be vacuumed better and targeted for the cleaning, not just changing the sheets and cleaning the surfaces. The bathrooms need paper towels. Everyone just takes a roll of toilet paper to wipe their hands, anyway. And again, surfaces in the bathroom (sink faucets) need to be sanitized. Carpet needs to be vacuumed daily. I only saw it done once and it was not extensive.
