This is a typical American style hotel with many rooms in a large spacious and beautiful setup. Nice to see lots of families with kids and (grand) parents because of Chinese New Year. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, check-in was fast despite what is mentioned in other reviews. The breakfast and dinner buffet in Makan where amazing! Lots of choice, menu variation and good tastes. The table- and tapwater we found not so tastefull because of too much chloride (like in many countries) but the waterdispensors to fill our drinking bottles are an excellent service! We extended our stay with one night and while the first room was a bit stuffy/smelly the second one was perfect and comfortable.

There was one surprise we did not see coming (our fault): the non-alcohol policy in Putrajaya. We are no alcoholics but like a glass of beer or wine around dinner. We could buy a can of beer and drink it in our room but that would be a bit pathetic so we adapted to local customs and refrained from drinking. Good to have known this in advance though we would still have chosen this hotel. The lake surroundings where almost deserted, beautiful views and nice to walk but not much to do.

Splash pool is the main attraction for my kids. We spent most of the time at the splash pool and the kids room. The Careline staff keeps on checking if everything is ok or if we need any help from time to time.

The sink in the bathroom was too slow to drain, seems like there's some blockage. There was a lipstick stain on the pillow cover when we checked in and the housekeeping staff didn't changed the pillow cover even though we asked for housekeeping twice. They just turned the pillow upside down. Breakfast was average but beware if you choose to sit at the outside area. Too many crows waiting for the food on the table and some of them even come closer to the table when my kids was eating.

Generally…..i like everything about the hotel…staff…food Their hospitalities were tip top…..keep it up….!!!10 stars for them….very friendly…helpful….even though their house keeper also was very kind hearted….i asked them to change the bed sheets n towels even after they already did in the morning n they did it once again…the bfast also have many choices and delicious…me and my husband liked their coffee very very much…n we asked for a paper cup to “tapau” the coffee to the room…

Tv channel is limited but they provide tv screen sharing to ur mobile device (android only)…so yeah we can watch netflix… Bathroom-abit smelly…i think it was from sewer….n need to be maintained

This is my first staycation with my husband and a baby. I would say it's a great experience ever😊 I got birthdays deco per request and also got a free room upgrade lakeside view! Thanks to all doubletree staffs Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Kids' facilities were excellent to me they got a big splash kid pool and playroom, too. Great location, we spend our evening taking e-bike stroll through the park from hotel. View were superb, can see the putrajaya bridge + picc from our room Breakfast is also delicious, and a lot of choices. Really enjoyed the cinnamon and pandan teh tarik! Already missed it! I'll repeat staying here whenever I want to staycation in putrajaya.

Let's be honest-- the reason anyone would stay here is for the kids. There are 3 pools: infinity, splash & rooftop. Breakfast is okay, but the dinner taste & selection were superb. The room: we were afraid if the bed was not big enough but it was, it was insanely big. Even the sofa bed was readily converted into a bed for us.

The room was used to be 2 rooms but they tore the wall in between, so there are 2 small bathrooms, but unfortunately no bathtubs. The hallway looked rundown & greasy too.

I took an executive room and was pleasantly surprised by a whole day entry to the lounge and pre-dinner meal that was provided..it was good 👍 besides, location is super strategic, next to putrajaya lakeside. Kids got to play with sand by the lake, in the kids pool, splash pool /water playground, bouncy trampoline - like play area and went on few rides on atv around the hotel.. super memorable and fun.. would definitely go there again! 😉

I didn't mind the short wait to be seated for breakfast. However there were limited bowls, cups and ice cream spoons for kids.. had to ask the staff repeatedly on both days of my stay.. maybe can pay bit more attention on that during the busy hours. Another small disappointment was no bath tub in the room

1. Cleanliness of the place is the top 2. There are 4 pools and my family got the joyful experience 3. The place is so beautifully designed 4. Varieties of good food and delicious food. We are having breakfast and dinner there. 5. So many activities in the hotel and we are having fun

The Only bad experience we were having there was the check in process. Not smooth and we were waiting for a long time maybe around 30 mins to check into the hotel. At first the receptionist told me to wait in the lounge room until someone called us to check into the hotel without queueing to collect the key, feeling wonderful but it took so long until i asked one of the staff there and she helped me. Maybe it's not a problem for others but for me who has a little child and she is so excited to change and play water but it took for a long definitely, we got annoyed.

l wish to send my gratitude to Hilton Putrajaya that l had an excellent experience during my short holiday with my daughter. 1.l met a Gentleman(who serve customers at front desk for morning breakfast on 1/4/25,ard 10am).I would like to THANKS him for arranging a memorable & graceful section for my breakfast (Finally l found out he is Head Manager of Hilton 😄) 2.Nevertheless,receptionist,cafe crews,guards & cleaner(foreigner) quite polite,helpful and cheer smile was my unforgettable and greatful impression during this trip l should give Hilton ,Putrajaya THUMBS UP 👍👍👍

the hotel's wide open space, the serene view, connected to the lake, pool area was fun for kids, consider good amount of facilities. food for breakfast buffet was quite nice and I get to eat while enjoying the lakeview.. but because i was having breakfast there 2 days in a row, the food choice seems to be almost the same. if there's a little more changes, that will be better

more variety of restaurants eg i only have 1 place to go during tea time and the choices in the menu was rather expensive. be good if the convenient store has more choices of food or maybe make it like 7-11 where there's some affordable and simple hot food. i also felt the staffs at the concierge probably a bit shorthanded as there was a request i made for twice but ended up didnt get to fulfil it. Lastly the architecture itself is a little bit old, probably if there's some refurbishment to be done will make it more worth the value

The staff was amazing, during checkout, only one staff was there, line was long, but immediately was greeted by another two staff coming to help, Ben offered and apology and it make the trip more pleasant Hotel is amazing for kids to stay and play To improve: To keep up with modern family and kids, double tree can do little activity besides the empty area besides the pool, for kids, something like sand sticker drawing, maybe a kids painting area and activity, children activities for weekend to keep them occupied other than the pools
