Great looking hotel, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Early access to the room option was a godsend as we had overnight flight. Room were spacious, quiet, clean comfortable. Bed was comfortable, shower worked well, coffee and complimentry drinks available in room,we were upgraded to premium suite which included breakfast on arrival day and checkout day as we only stayed overnigbt. Great transport trolley from airport to hotel. Many restaurants and food options in the hotel. There was gender based private steam room and spa and combined gym which were operational. Train to sentral or surrounding areas easy to access. We loved our stay.

Sadly the pool was closed for renovation and the spa/massage wasnt available on our day there..

This hotel is so much better than the outside would lead you to believe. I expected it to be at a sort of Holiday Inn/Travelodge level, but once you are inside it's gorgeous. Very luxurious, lovely huge flower arrangements, 5 lifts from the central atrium, an amazing speedy shuttle service that will take you to and from terminal 1 , the list goes on. The rooms were spacious, the bed super comfortable, there is a pillow menu, with even an option for the loan of a teddy bear if you need it (& he looks cute!) . We had dinner there, it was excellent! A great range of both Western and Asian foods to choose from. There is a display case of amazing- looking cakes too if you fancy that after a very filling dinner. The breakfast buffet was definitely one of the best ones I have ever experienced. There are again both Western and Asian options. I had this amazing local bread that was similar to brioche which was toasted over a metal pot of white hot charcoal, then spread with a delicious local coconut flavoured spread as recommended by another guest. I had this with an array of fresh fruit that was absolutely perfectly fresh and juicy. The staff were friendly and so attentive but not in your face all the time. Oh and zero noise from the airport. I would honestly LOVE to come back here!

There isn't anything I didn't like. The pool is currently undergoing renovation though (august 2025)

Despite being so close to the airport, it was perfectly quiet, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was a true highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, beautifully presented. The facilities, from the pool to the fitness centre, were spotless and well-maintained. What truly stands out is the genuine hospitality — every staff member we met was attentive, friendly, and went the extra mile to make our stay special. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service in Kuala Lumpur, Sama-Sama is simply the best choice. Highly recommended!

Rooms are very comfortable and Clean. Staff is friendly. Hotel Lobby is beautiful and large. Connectivity to the Airport by a buggy is an added benefit making transiting KLIA Airport smooth. I would rate Sama Sama as probably the best in world as an Airport Hotel. It has facilities of a 5 star property. I would specifically mention the name of Mr. Yeogesvaran Krishnan - Assistant Front Office Manager for giving me a late check out and being considerate considering the fact that I had checked in late evening the night earlier and really needed to rest and get over my jet lag before taking my next flight. Once again thank you Mr. Krishnan for being such a gracious, friendly and co-operative Host. I look forward to staying at the Sama Sama again on my future visit to Kuala Lumpur. Keep up the good work guys and finally the Nasi Goreng Kampung style was delicious.

Swimming Pool was not open and under renovation, Health club facility is old and definitely requires renovation too.

We love staying at Sama Sama, the bed is so comfortable, the linen lovely, the pillows plush, we were gifted a little box of nibbles which was great as our flight had been delayed and we missed lunch. We had an absolutely phenomenal dinner in the restaurant (TBG), and the bar staff welcomed you as though you were a long lost friend; it was a comfort at the end of a long day of travelling.

I think our room wasn’t vacuumed prior to our arrival as we found a needle and some chocolate wrappers on the floor. This then made us worried that other things hadn’t been done to their usual standard.

What an easy, lovely stay. I was in transit for 17 hours and decided to stay here. The buggys to the hotel were a little tricky to locate at first - but then so straightforward and easy. Keep an eye out for signs!! I paid for a good room and was then also upgraded on arrival giving me access to the 9th floor lounge. I was in transit, and having access to that lounge just made me so much more relaxed and comfortable. It felt quiet and private - two things I wanted for my transit experience. The lounge also provided excellent food during Happy Hour and breakfast. I bought a bag from the small shop in the foyer - effectively a bag made by local people - with money going back to community. Shops in hotel foyers are NEVER about locals or community and I love that Sama Sama had something like this, that gave back. The bags were lovely and it was hard to choose just one! Also, they felt very affordable. My stay was excellent. I slept well, had a great room and the staff were exceptional in taking care of me.

We weren't there long enough to really justify the price but the facilities are beautiful. Easily connected to the airport, Comfortable beds, Professional staff.

Depending on where you are coming from within the airport, it's not very clear how to get to the hotel. We camefrom the opposite terminal and had to take the shuttle bus (super easy!). The issue is that depending on where you enter the terminal, the airport signs may been inconsistent. We had to walk through a food court to get to where the buggy/walkway is to the hotel. It wasn't a problem but we didn't think it was very clear we had to do so. We had to ask someone for directions.

Super nice hotel and definitely matched my expectations. It feels like it's catered to business travelers because it was quiet in the lobby (easy to work) and quiet in the rooms as well. Even though it's right by the airport, I never heard any planes taking off. Everything was clean in the room, no bug/critter problems, AC worked well, included a safe/robe/slippers/desk chair for working, and bed was super comfy. I even made use of the gym/pool area, which was nice. If you're coming from Terminal 2, don't take a GrabTaxi to get there (the cost isn't worth it) -- take the KLIA Express train instead (it's 1/10th the cost). There are definitely cheaper places to stay near the airport, but the location (literally 10 minute walk via connecting bridge from lobby to terminal 1) and the amenities are worth it.

The price is high and seems geared towards business travelers, so the value for one night may not be worth it, if you can't make use of all the amenities. It took a bit to find & the instructions were a bit confusing, especially since I came from KLIA terminal 2 and the hotel is located next to terminal 1. The hotel emails instructions about how to get there from either terminal, but just keep following Google maps & ask the airport staff for help and they'll guide you if you get lost. The restaurant/food situation was a bit confusing too. I wasn't sure if there's multiple restaurants onsite because there's one food service menu, but 4 restaurants mentioned. But I was only there for one night (about 14 hours total) so I didn't have too much time to explore.

I had the pleasure of staying at SAMA SAMA Hotel adjacent to KL International Airport for one night and was genuinely impressed by the entire experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making me feel instantly welcomed. Every team member I encountered was courteous, attentive, and eager to assist with anything I needed. The accommodation itself was outstanding. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The sole minor complaint I have is that when I placed my order at the restaurant, the waitress did not comprehend what I was attempting to order. Consequently, she did not confirm the order, which would have alerted me to the error. I acknowledge that it was a late evening, but that is the only complaint I have, aside from the fact that the food was absolutely fantastic.

1. Shuttle-service from terminal to hotel. Detailed instruction on how to access the service was sent by text. The hotel is connected to the terminal on the same floor with the whole stretch is under cover and mainly air-conditioned. We actually walked - took us less than 5 mins. 2. Walking distance to access facilities (food court and other dining places) in the airport. Bonus for those who are after a value for money meal - there is a shop on level 1 the locals go to that serves roti canai and other Malaysian-Indian street food. Great for a quick breakfast before catching the flight.
