We weren't there long enough to really justify the price but the facilities are beautiful. Easily connected to the airport, Comfortable beds, Professional staff.

Depending on where you are coming from within the airport, it's not very clear how to get to the hotel. We camefrom the opposite terminal and had to take the shuttle bus (super easy!). The issue is that depending on where you enter the terminal, the airport signs may been inconsistent. We had to walk through a food court to get to where the buggy/walkway is to the hotel. It wasn't a problem but we didn't think it was very clear we had to do so. We had to ask someone for directions.

Super nice hotel and definitely matched my expectations. It feels like it's catered to business travelers because it was quiet in the lobby (easy to work) and quiet in the rooms as well. Even though it's right by the airport, I never heard any planes taking off. Everything was clean in the room, no bug/critter problems, AC worked well, included a safe/robe/slippers/desk chair for working, and bed was super comfy. I even made use of the gym/pool area, which was nice. If you're coming from Terminal 2, don't take a GrabTaxi to get there (the cost isn't worth it) -- take the KLIA Express train instead (it's 1/10th the cost). There are definitely cheaper places to stay near the airport, but the location (literally 10 minute walk via connecting bridge from lobby to terminal 1) and the amenities are worth it.

The price is high and seems geared towards business travelers, so the value for one night may not be worth it, if you can't make use of all the amenities. It took a bit to find & the instructions were a bit confusing, especially since I came from KLIA terminal 2 and the hotel is located next to terminal 1. The hotel emails instructions about how to get there from either terminal, but just keep following Google maps & ask the airport staff for help and they'll guide you if you get lost. The restaurant/food situation was a bit confusing too. I wasn't sure if there's multiple restaurants onsite because there's one food service menu, but 4 restaurants mentioned. But I was only there for one night (about 14 hours total) so I didn't have too much time to explore.

I had the pleasure of staying at SAMA SAMA Hotel adjacent to KL International Airport for one night and was genuinely impressed by the entire experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making me feel instantly welcomed. Every team member I encountered was courteous, attentive, and eager to assist with anything I needed. The accommodation itself was outstanding. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The sole minor complaint I have is that when I placed my order at the restaurant, the waitress did not comprehend what I was attempting to order. Consequently, she did not confirm the order, which would have alerted me to the error. I acknowledge that it was a late evening, but that is the only complaint I have, aside from the fact that the food was absolutely fantastic.

1. Shuttle-service from terminal to hotel. Detailed instruction on how to access the service was sent by text. The hotel is connected to the terminal on the same floor with the whole stretch is under cover and mainly air-conditioned. We actually walked - took us less than 5 mins. 2. Walking distance to access facilities (food court and other dining places) in the airport. Bonus for those who are after a value for money meal - there is a shop on level 1 the locals go to that serves roti canai and other Malaysian-Indian street food. Great for a quick breakfast before catching the flight.

There are no Singapore-style kopitiam for soft-boiled eggs and kaya-toast

Big international hotel with the usual facilities. The rooms look like they had a major refresh when it changed from being the Pan Pacific Hotel to the Sama Sama KLIA Hotel. Very clean and luxurious bedding. Extremely comfy beds, pillows and doonas. Good aircon. Quiet soundproofed rooms. Well resourced staffing. Convenient if transiting through Terminal 1 (can walk between it from the Terminal 1 Arrivals Hall and Departure Hall).

Expensive (there are cheaper options available nearby). Bit of a hassle going to/from Terminal 2. After reaching the Terminal 2 Arrivals Hall, it can take up to a maximum of about 45 minutes to get to the front desk if using the train or a maximum of about 25 minutes if taking a taxi.

The room was exquisite. The toiletries were absolutely lovely, the linen, pillows and furnishings were top tier. The lounge on lvl 9 was a delightful unexpected luxury and we enjoyed breakfast immensely.

We flew into KLIA2 and had to get over to KLIA1. I knew this had to happen, but I misunderstood and I thought they provided a shuttle to do this. Instead, we had to get a bus, which detoured via the long term parking and to Terminal 1 and once there, it was a bit confusing on how to get to their electric shuttle within Terminal 1. This led to a frustrating one hour journey. HOT TIP you can order a grab to take you there with minimum fuss and less than 20 minutes. N

The easy walk from Terminal 2 to Sama Sama was an easy one. From the moment we arrived all staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room included access to the Premium lounge where from 6pm you could go for cocktails and food. We also had the option of breakfast in the Premium lounge which was great as we had a very early check out. Checkout was able to be done on our level and a very helpful staff member assisted us with our luggage and organised a buggy ride back to the terminal. Room was large, comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay again

We stayed at this hotel for just one night, before proceeding the following morning to our ultimate destination in Pankor. The hotel is very close to the airport, and accessible via a covered walkway. Transport is available without charge, but the walk took us no more than 10 to 15 minutes from the terminal. The staff were polite and helpful, checking us in quickly without the need registry a credit card. Room was spacious, comfortable, with an enormous king size bed. We had an excellent night sleep before setting up

The front desk staff were friendly and informative, providing me with all the necessary details about the shuttle service and hours. **Room Quality (5/5):** My room was clean and well-maintained, featuring modern furnishings and a comfortable bed. I appreciated the extra soundproofing, as I barely heard any noise from the airport, which made for a good night’s sleep. Sofa bed was set up prior our arrival and additional towel set was provided. The staff was thoughtful and helpful. **Amenities (5/5):** The hotel offers a small fitness center, greenery spaces, outdoor pool, free use of sauna, jacuzzi and steam room which I found adequate for my needs. The facilities are well kept and clean. Overall Experience (5/5):** For anyone needing a place to stay before or after a flight, Sama Sama provides excellent value. The cleanliness, friendly staff, and unbeatable location make it a solid choice for travelers. I will definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.

Location is perfect, especially the buggy services. That’s make Sama Sama Hotel an oasis in the middle of nowhere for traveler arriving or departing at odd hours. Traffic in KL is unpredictable, too risky for catching a KLIA flight if staying downtown. Place is clean and well maintained. Staff is awesome.

A little pricey compared to similar hotel downtown. Do not like the breakfast offered. Although there are variety of selection, Malaysia food or local delight is way below average. Food court at airport has better local food. Ironically, their Western breakfast selection and coffee is good.
