Room was very spacious and clean. It was quiet and had a superking size bed courtesy of a room upgrade (thank you). Excellent breakfast - I asked for poached eggs which were lovely. Plenty of choice. Had dinner in the lounge area on the first night and in the restaurant the second night. Both meals were excellent and very enjoyable. We enjoyed using the fabulous facilities ie swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

Liked everything but unfortunately there were a couple of golfer groups who were rather raucous in the lounge area when we were trying to have a quiet drink.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable. It was our first wedding anniversary and we was made to feel amazing. Our room was even decorated so nice, thank you Olena for all your effort. We also got left an anniversary card in our room.❤️ The lady on the front desk was also exceptionally lovely. All the staff said hello to us as we passed them. They all made us feel very welcome and will definitely be visiting again. The food was also exceptional.

Very little really. Apart from it being a little awkward to get to the swimming pool from the main building. There was a door very near our room but I wasn't able to use it as I have mobility issues so had to go the long way round. Which wasn't well sign posted so we got kinda got lost. Also more food choice on the evening menu would of been nice. Otherwise amazing place!

Really lovely stay. Amazing staff. Good food, both in restaurant for evening meal, and breakfast (cooked breakfast was hot even though buffet style which is a rarity), Also tried room service which was good too. Family friendly. Great to have access to pool. Pines bar and terrace very nice too. Toiletries in bathroom were amazing! Will definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you we loved our little mini break!

Nothing that would stop me returning. Drinks a little pricey in Pines bar. My young niece said some giant games outdoors and fun stuff would be a nice added extra 🙂

We enjoyed using the swimming/ spa facilities and found the room very comfortable and pleasant. There was a small queue at check in but desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel location was easy to find and the grounds were attractive and well kept. We were having a one night get away during Christmas holidays and chose the hotel due to the swimming pool. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. We found Normanby Hall in the area which proved to be a very enjoyable visit and very good value at just £5 parking charge.

Stayed for one night. easy to park, friendly staff, very comfortable beds, powerful shower (walk-in not over bath which I prefer), tasty breakfast with lots of choice and I noted some labelling for allergies, which I appreciated.

Unable to have dinner in the restaurant as it was full, which was disappointing after a long drive. I also tried to book another stay over the phone (as I wanted to discuss the booking) but I was unable to speak to anyone. I went around in circles (spoke to reception who forwarded me to a central reservation line, who redirected me back to reception, who disconnected my call).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good with freshly cooked items such as vegan sausages and poached eggs on request. The pool and gym were very good, although may get a little crowded when the hotel is full. The room was very spacious (junior suite) and it was a nice touch that the fridge was restocked with free drinks each day

Slightly disappointed at the lack of vegan choices at the venues and on the first night we fancied room service but there were no vegan options at all so we ended up going to a local chippy! The bed was a little hard for our preference

The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of variety and very good cooked breakfast, staff very polite and helpful. Pool facilities very good.

Unfortunately there were no batteries in the remote control for the tv, when trying to contact reception it was constantly engaged. We did find a housekeeper who was very helpful and supplied new remote. Unfortunately when we booked in at 3.pm there was a long queue that ended up even going outside, I could not see why it took so long to get people booked in as there were two people on reception . Also there was a Dalmatian dog convention on in part of the hotel, and there was a dog and owner staying on the same floor as us, unfortunately the dog was barking throughout the night. As this was a valentines weekend maybe next time move the dog contention to another weekend?

Beautiful Hotel and Spa with the most excellent customer service I have ever encountered. I was celebrating my birthday and the lovely Andrea from the reservations team organised a birthday card, banner, balloons and a birthday cake for me. She was amazing. I was suffering from a terrible cold and she organised an extra heater fr my room. I’m so grateful. The cleaning lady Miroslava did an extra deep clean of our rooms before our stay as she knew about our pet allergies. The room was absolutely spotless and thankfully we didn’t have any problems. The restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Alex who made us so welcome.

Very friendly staff and the building was clean. Breakfast and evening dinner were faultless and happily eat again. Pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi all clean and comfortable environment to be in.

We went for a relaxing spa weekend but were spoilt with children in the pool throwing balls at each other full length of pool and could not properly relax in case get hit by the ball. Ended up not really using the pool because of this, not really a relaxing place with children shouting and jumping in the pool. Perhaps some time slots during day to use facilities where adults only would improve for all people visiting.

Great place to stay and even better for a break with the dog! Reception staff were brilliant and answered all questions we had, our room was lovely and spacious for a basic double. Food and drinks in the lounge bar were good and there was lots of seating. Dogs were allowed in this part too so we made the most of it here. Visited the spa on both days we stayed, it’s great that it’s included as part of the stay with a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. They were allowed quite small but as we didn’t have to pay any extra it was good. Hotel was easy to find and was a good location for venturing out with the dog, took us around half an hour to get to the beach - not the best idea in December!! Overall we had a brilliant stay.

The size of the sauna and steam room was quite small and we didn’t think there was much seating around the pool. It would also be good if you’re staying in the hotel to have access to the relaxation room - this was a real shame it wasn’t included.
