Location is fantastic! Right opposite the beach, 5-10 min walk to Fish Alley and all the bars. 10 min walk to Castillo and the shopping centre. Lots to see and do in the area. 2x pools both nice and clean, loads of space to relax - in and out of the sun. We had a Superior Double which was clean, spacious and ample. Breakfast was good, lots of variety and runs 7am-10am.

Most comfortable bed and best shower I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Staff at breakfast lovely. Reception staff need re-training on customer service and politeness though I’m afraid. On day of check out had a late flight. Reception area very noisy with large golfing groups so asked for a quiet space to do a conference call for two hours - two rooms off side of reception- which were free and not used whole 6 days there. Would not let me use unless paid 50 euro! Instead of acknowledging a noisy reception and making a customer happy and able to work whilst staying with them (having paid 1000 euros to stay already) the room stayed empty and I was furious.

The location was amazing it was literally a stones throw away from the beach and a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Fuengirola. Just before the beach you had an amazing promenade walk. To the right plenty of bars and restaurants and the lovely Castle. To the left plenty of bars and restaurants and you could walk for miles. The area was very clean and well tended. The Staff at the Occidental Fuengirola were more than helpful and did everything with a smile. We had an incident where one of our family party needed medical assistance, nothing too scary, but nevertheless the staff were incredible, nothing was too much trouble and they arranged everything from transport to speaking with the correct doctor and insurance representative before we arrived at the medical centre, this was absolutely amazing, a big thank you from us. The breakfast and meals were lovely with an amazing variety to choose from. Things were cooked freshly in front of you.

I really have to think hard on this question and as such I can't honestly think of anything. Seriously.

Our stay at Occidental was superb! The location was the best part because of proximity to the beach, restaurants, and other activities we enjoyed. We could comfortably walk to wherever we wanted to go. The hotel is beautiful—light, airy, and welcoming. Staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and a perfect size with a comfortable bed, great lighting, and the balcony was where I lived when not out and about. It faced the sea so was great! The pool area was clean and had plenty of comfortable seating. Drinks and food were readily available near the pool or inside at the bar. Breakfast was fantastic! Plenty of options and all delicious. The omelette and fresh fruit were my favorites. We highly recommend Occidental Fuengirola and hope to return there some day!

Nice hotel in great location. The beach is across the road and there are many shops and restaurants near the hotel. Facilities were good and staff were very pleasant and friendly. Noelia was very helpful. The paella restaurant Arrozante was lovely and breakfast was good.

We found it odd that they were charging us a daily fee to use the hotel safe given how much we spent for the hotel room already. The balcony door was jammed for the first day but luckily this got fixed. The hotel shower gel smelt bad and I bought my own one.

Hotel was great.

Only English language channel on TV in room was Aljazeera.

Room location were really good and we enjoyed our stay very much. Staff at reception were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Overall, it's a very good clean and spacious hotel and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Breakfast was pretty good, however we did have an issue one morning, where we had to wait in a long queue to get into the breakfast hall. The reason as to why this took so long or what the issue was was not communicated. This added delay to our journey which meant we had to skip our trip to the ski resort in Granada before travelling to the Alhambra Palace.

We got a great room on the 9th floor with a sea view. It was a pleasant surprise for which I am grateful to the staff. I was surprised that the room was cleaned every day. The breakfast selection was great, delicious and good food. A large selection of fruits, cheeses, fried and cold vegetables. You can even pour champagne for breakfast :). Also, for those who are interested, I saw that the hotel organizes a live concert with dancing in the evenings, it was obvious that people had a good time. The hotel is in the first zone by the sea, but we were able to park our car for free around it.

This was our 4th visit and room was as expected and alway spotless. We had extra large double bed which was big and comfy. Shower good and small fridge was useful. Food was varied at breakfast and dinner - great choices all round but could have been hotter. Staff and cleaners were very helpful and friendly. Opposite the beach and down the quieter end of the promenade.

There weren't tea and coffee facilities but we took our own kettle otherwise there was a rental charge. Massive choice at dinner but warm plates would have been good and the food being a little hotter too.
