Very clean and friendly staff

The fact that somebody stole a driver out of the golf storage room, camera points in the wrong direction, only way to see who it was is via the police which where not helpful,

Location is fantastic! Right opposite the beach, 5-10 min walk to Fish Alley and all the bars. 10 min walk to Castillo and the shopping centre. Lots to see and do in the area. 2x pools both nice and clean, loads of space to relax - in and out of the sun. We had a Superior Double which was clean, spacious and ample. Breakfast was good, lots of variety and runs 7am-10am.

The hotel was very modern, clean and had a lovely aesthetic! Pool area was great during the day with the Pool and Breeze bar being close by and handy for drinks by the pool and also food if needed! Particually we enjoyed the breeze bar food as it had a lovely selection with great portion sizes, tasty food and all at a fair price. The pool bar staff throughout the trip were brilliant, always so friendly and made you feel welcomed! It was a very relaxed atmosphere which made the stay comfortable. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable throughout our stay with a lovely balcony space which was handy for putting clothes/towels out to dry with the small wash line. The cleaners were fantastic by coming every day to tidy the room and provide fresh towels which was brilliant - couldn’t recommend it enough and would love to make a return in the future. Location was great as it was on the quieter side of the beach front but had a short 10 min walk to where there are lots of bars and restaurants to enjoy!

Most comfortable bed and best shower I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Staff at breakfast lovely. Reception staff need re-training on customer service and politeness though I’m afraid. On day of check out had a late flight. Reception area very noisy with large golfing groups so asked for a quiet space to do a conference call for two hours - two rooms off side of reception- which were free and not used whole 6 days there. Would not let me use unless paid 50 euro! Instead of acknowledging a noisy reception and making a customer happy and able to work whilst staying with them (having paid 1000 euros to stay already) the room stayed empty and I was furious.

The location was amazing it was literally a stones throw away from the beach and a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Fuengirola. Just before the beach you had an amazing promenade walk. To the right plenty of bars and restaurants and the lovely Castle. To the left plenty of bars and restaurants and you could walk for miles. The area was very clean and well tended. The Staff at the Occidental Fuengirola were more than helpful and did everything with a smile. We had an incident where one of our family party needed medical assistance, nothing too scary, but nevertheless the staff were incredible, nothing was too much trouble and they arranged everything from transport to speaking with the correct doctor and insurance representative before we arrived at the medical centre, this was absolutely amazing, a big thank you from us. The breakfast and meals were lovely with an amazing variety to choose from. Things were cooked freshly in front of you.

I really have to think hard on this question and as such I can't honestly think of anything. Seriously.

Our stay at Occidental was superb! The location was the best part because of proximity to the beach, restaurants, and other activities we enjoyed. We could comfortably walk to wherever we wanted to go. The hotel is beautiful—light, airy, and welcoming. Staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and a perfect size with a comfortable bed, great lighting, and the balcony was where I lived when not out and about. It faced the sea so was great! The pool area was clean and had plenty of comfortable seating. Drinks and food were readily available near the pool or inside at the bar. Breakfast was fantastic! Plenty of options and all delicious. The omelette and fresh fruit were my favorites. We highly recommend Occidental Fuengirola and hope to return there some day!

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The location is perfect, right by the beach and shops and restaurants and only 10 min pleasant walk to the very centre of the town. The hotel has everything you need, the pool is great and the staff are amazing. It has a paella restaurant within the building and several outside and inside bars for food and drinks. We loved it.

The shower temperature was at times a little temperamental and the bed topper was a little too soft for us but I’m sure had we asked they would have changed it for us because they even have different types of pillows.

Parking not free or included in the Hotel . The food did not satisfy me . One try then you well start eating outside

Nice hotel in great location. The beach is across the road and there are many shops and restaurants near the hotel. Facilities were good and staff were very pleasant and friendly. Noelia was very helpful. The paella restaurant Arrozante was lovely and breakfast was good.

We found it odd that they were charging us a daily fee to use the hotel safe given how much we spent for the hotel room already. The balcony door was jammed for the first day but luckily this got fixed. The hotel shower gel smelt bad and I bought my own one.

Room location were really good and we enjoyed our stay very much. Staff at reception were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Overall, it's a very good clean and spacious hotel and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Breakfast was pretty good, however we did have an issue one morning, where we had to wait in a long queue to get into the breakfast hall. The reason as to why this took so long or what the issue was was not communicated. This added delay to our journey which meant we had to skip our trip to the ski resort in Granada before travelling to the Alhambra Palace.
